Thanks to the company of Homesafe, in my home I noticed that every time we turned our AC there was a lot of dust coming out of the vents. Jorge (the owner) and the team came in and cleaned the dust away as well as sanitized. We noticed a big difference right away. We were happy with their service and transparency with their prices!! We will definitely use their service again in the future. We are going to recommend them to friends and family.

Jorge accommodated a dryer duct cleaning just a couple of days after my initial inquiry. Not only was he responsive, he also took the time to explain the results in detail. I would certainly call on him again!

We were extremely pleased with the service by Home Safe Air Ducts and their service member Antonio. He texted us when he was on his way and even included his picture, which we very much appreciated. He arrived at our home in South Lake Tahoe on time, was very professional, thorough, and worked efficiently. Antonio cleaned our furnace and vents, removing a lot of construction debris that was left by previous contractors. He even sanitized the air ducts to get rid of bacteria, mold, and mildew. Communication with Jorge who is the owner was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend Home Safe for all your air ducts and vent cleaning needs!

My HVAC was contaminated with construction debris and was spewing fine drywall dust all over the house. I needed top notch cleaning of my ducts . I called several companies and asked a lot of questions about the exact process. Homesafe was the only one that uses both a negative pressure and (gentle) agitation technique to ensure dust is thoroughly dislodged and removed from flexible ducts. Antonio is super and spent 5 hours cleaning my ducts. I am confident my HVAC is now dust free and I’ll be using this company for regular cleaning from here on in.

Jorge was very responsive through the process from scheduling to following up after work was completed to check everything was to my satisfaction. Antonio who did the work showed up promptly and was very kind and informative. He did a walk through with me before the job to talk about everything he was going to do. He laid out drop cloths throughout the house where he needed to wheel the vacuum to, wore boot covers over his shoes and left the job site cleaner than when he arrived. I asked him to also clean the dryer vent which was unplanned. He informed me of the additional cost from the original estimate and walked me through what he would do and asked for approval before proceeding. At the end, he walked me through all the before and after photos of the vents. It was very cool to see how he used a scope to show views of the vents that you cannot see to the naked eye to show you the before and after. When the I voce came, the photos were also attached for reference. Overall Antonio and Jorge were great and I highly recommend them! So many great things to say about their customer service and quality of their work

I had the air ducts in the entire house cleaned and the dryer vent cleaned.
I found Home Safe Air Duct service to be thorough and professional. The technician arrived in time. He clearly explained the service including cost and worked diligently to complete the job. After I received before and after photos.
The technician and owner were both very personable and polite. I had to reschedule my service and the owner was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend their service.

Jorge was responsive to my voicemail and prompt retuning my call. He explained the process and scheduled the service quickly. Antonio sent a text to let me know he was on the way and was very polite and did a great job. I asked antonio about doing the dryer vent cleaning and he quickly said yes and did that service as well. Overall great experience!

Ryan checked our wall furnace to be sure of smooth operation this winter. He arrived on time. Even though our wall furnace is original to this 70 year old home (burner replaced years ago) he did not try to hard sell us anything. We talked about updating in the future as out budget permits and left it at that. Thank you Hometown Air!

Ryan did an excellent installation at our Lake Tahoe home of a split system. On time arrival and he finished a day ahead of schedule, doesn't get much better than that. I would certainly use their services again.

Ryan and Joslyn were great to work with and bought me some time on our aging system. A/C back on and feel safer after Ryan looked at the system. What I think really made it a great experience is that there were some issues and they did a great job mitigating the issues. We had to wait on some specialized parts but they handled it perfectly. Ryan from hometown air was very honest, helpful and genuine. We never felt pressured and he and his team went above and beyond. One example of the great service is they fixed a broken gate in the backyard while working here, without being asked to or it even being mentioned. All while installing an A/C unit and furnace in a very timely manner. Happy to say we had a great experience with a local business!

Ryan was awesome and took care of the AC unit for the fan and also checked out the furnace that he had installed.
All n all once again he was fantastic and took care of everything.

I was referred to hometown air by my son. His A/C was having trouble. He called another company who said he needed a new unit. Quoted $6,000. He then called Hometown. Ryan came and said it was just an undersized breaker during all this heat. Did not charge him. My son replaced. Its never had a problem since. So in turn I called them for an issue on one of my units after having been repaired by another company but did not fix problem. Hometown came out and located the problem. Charged very reasonably. I would rate this company higher if I could and will recommend to all my friends and family. Thank you

Ryan and the HOMETOWN AIR team is a family owner business that truly embodies Family. Hometown was recommended to me by Angie’s List along with a competitor. The competitor came out first and gave us a quote (that was much higher than we expected). Then Ryan from Hometown came out and did a fantastic evaluation and actually showed me the primary reason that our current HVAC system was failing. I didn’t mention that his competitor has already made a quote. Ryan was incredibly knowledgeable and explained our system in a way that I could understand. Ryan’s quote was considerably less for comparable equipment.

Obviously we went with Hometown, their installation team was phenomenal, incredibly organized and provided a clean and neat job site. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail that they demonstrated, nothing was left to chance, the job site was always impeccably clean and neat. Ryan kept us informed with every detail of the project (full HVAC upgrade). Several times a day we were updated with the progress.

The value that Hometown brought to our home cannot be understated, not only was the cost much less than the competitors; but savings based on our energy efficiency will certainly show a greater return on our investment.

Lastly and most important to me was Ryan and his family are an absolute pleasure to work with, they obviously care about the customer’s satisfaction.

I work with a lot of companies in a lot of different markets and this one is by far the best. They are communicative, kind, and very knowledgeable. Ryan came out and checked out our business and is saving us so much money from being so on top of getting our PM’s done!! Thank you hometown air!!

If I could give 10 stars I would! I've worked with Ryan for over a year now and he first helped me with an emergency call when the AC went out 3 days before family came to town in the middle of August! He came up and fixed our system same day and was very reasonably priced. The communication and scheduling with their office is so easy and I'm enrolled in his monthly membership program. Highly recommend!!

Ryan was awesome! He came for a late appointment after working a full day out in this crazy heat wave we were having, had a great attitude and got right to work. Blown away by this man’s customer service. He had us up and running in less than an hour and spent extra time to educate, clean and make sure our system was running tip top. Ryan was knowledgeable, efficient, detail oriented and personable. The whole process to schedule a service, notifications of ETA and completion of work as well as the automated detailed billing and payment process was high tech. Hometown Air was exactly what we needed. Professional and prompt with an attention to detail that my family were very happy with, Ryan and Joslyn made my furnace and AC unit replacement straightforward!

We have a newborn, and it was already getting quite toasty outside when the work at our home was being completed. Ryan completed large parts of the job while the old unit was still connected and (semi) running. This reduced the amount of time that we were without AC to the bare minimum.

Our previous system was nonstandard (not done very well), and Ryan adapted the old to the new system very nicely to ensure the new system was better installed, more efficient, and quieter.

We would use Hometown again!

Update 7/28/25:
Not long ago, had an issue with the fan on the outside unit making a strange warbling sound. Ryan was very responsive and had the fan blade replaced with no delay!

Hometown Air is a top notch small business. Ryan the owner, (service repair specialist) arrived on time performed diagnostics, identified the problem, ordered the parts on a Thursday. He was back the next day to complete the repairs and had my furnace running like new. I was told by larger companies a complete system replacement was required!
