I would recommend Michael Patrick Construction over and over again! They helped make my house more my home with a brand new deck. We did not have a space to entertain out back and they came in and completely changed the vibe of our yard. They were quick to get it finished and it was gorgeous. If you want to level up your backyard definitely give Michael Patrick Construction a call.

If your looking for a great contractor, you won’t find a better company or nicer people. Mike came out to give us an estimate on a deck and exceeded our expectations with his knowledge and his ideas. Him and his crew were out on the job everyday till the deck was finished and was absolutely perfect. Ever since then I called him back 3 times for other contracting work around my house and every time goes way above and beyond. Will always recommend to anybody that needs work.

I would most definitely recommend Michael Patrick Construction for any type of construction work. From the time I first called them, I received an immediate response from Matt, who set up an appointment with me the next day to go over the job. It was an old deck running along the side of my house which needed to be totally replaced. He answered all my questions and I had a price within 2 days. The crew that did the work were awesome. Showed up everyday on time (most days earlier than scheduled time)! They were super professional, respectful and answered any questions I had. The new deck looks amazing. My neighbors could not believe the difference. I will be calling them for future work.

Michael and his team impressed me at every phase of my project. He is prompt, communicative,helpful, and knowledgeable. The team treated me and the project as if they were working on a family members home. They always left the job site cleaned up at the end of the day. My dilapidated wood deck was replaced by a beautiful new outdoor space.

Mike and his team were awesome! They replaced my old wood deck with a new Trex deck. They were personable, prompt, and very skilled. I will definitely use them again.

This construction company is dependable and detail oriented, delivering exemplary work throughout the project. Collaborating with Mike and his team was a positive experience; every crew member was a pleasure to work with. The basement framing was exceptional, executed efficiently, and the workspace was left clean. We received outstanding service, and I highly recommend this company.

We had Mike and his crew build a deck for us and couldn’t recommend them any higher. We spoke to 3-4 companies and were very happy with our decision to go with Mike. We’d go back to them in heartbeat for any more construction work.

Communication - Mike was very prompt with responding to my ask for a quote and was super communicative throughout the whole project. He even gave me references to talk to folks who had used him on similar projects. The quote was detailed and he asked for pictures of things we were looking for. At major milestones he would check in to align on the plan and ensure we were comfortable with the plan

Craftsmanship - Mike and his team (Frank, Jim, and one other gentleman) were meticulous when building our deck. All the angles were spot on and materials were installed with a lot of care. They were also super informative if we had any questions and really friendly when we would check in to see how they were doing. Our deck ended up looking like it was out of a magazine with how well it was built!

Dedication and Trust - just like any project there are always a hiccup or two you can’t avoid. Mike and his team made sure to get what we wanted right and worked with us on a solution that turned our looking great. Lots of times you just get what you get with some of these bigger projects but Mike and his guys went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. Even a few weeks later Mike checked in to see how things were. That level of customer service goes a long way!

This group was fantastic! From coming out to a bare job site to the end of construction. Everyone from the project manager, Matt, Mike and Tyler the builders, and Mike the owner himself being on site. Everyone was easy to talk to and work with. Explaining the job as it progressed and what to expect next.

In a time that it is hard to just find a builder I was VERY LUCKY to have met this group and get my job done by them.

I had the stamped concrete done already but the rest of the build was all Michael Patrick, from design to finish!

I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Mike and his team at Michael Patrick Construction are AMAZING!! We LOVE our new deck! I can't imagine using anyone else for home upgrades in the future and cannot recommend them enough.

From the very first call, Mike got back to me fast and set up a time for an estimate. He not only made recommendations to redo the entire frame, but actually showed me all the reasons why the previous frame was outside of code (another contractor said he could build on it no problem!). Additionally Mike's estimate was VERY reasonable and ITEMIZED showing every piece of the project and costs associated. That kind of transparency is not common and made us feel super comfortable.

Mike never cut corners, he filed all the permits with the township timely, and once things were approved his team made really quick work of the project!

The quality of the craftsmanship and materials is evident. These guys take pride in what they do!! Mike was also responsive to questions, open to suggestions, and all around a very easy to work with guy.

Michael Patrick Construction worked with my husband and I on 2 large projects at our home in Voorhees from April 2024- October 2024. We had a 33 year old original bilevel deck eaten out by carpenter bees over a walk out basement that required demolition, re-designing, new footings and we chose composite decking . We started over from scratch. He helped us secure our permits and our project with new aluminum railing and decking was completed by August 2024. His crew of expert craftsmanship were meticulous in all aspects of our project. Everything was cut to precision on site. We trusted his crew at our home while we worked. He was present personally at each of our Township inspections and anything that was needed was promptly revised or adjusted to code as required by our township . The contract was detailed and promptly e- mailed to us after we met. Give time to your project and start early and envision what you want in terms of design. From signing of contract things began promptly .Clean up of materials by dumpster and prompt removal allowed our project to move forward in phases. He co- ordinated preservation of our existing electrical wiring for lights on our deck with the electrician that worked with his crew The electrical sub-contractor that works with him was also excellent and skilled. We upgraded placement of our deck outlets along with new fixtures we selected. All payments were made to his company at pre- determined phases of the project .
Communication by text was prompt and all questions with expected delivery of materials and any delays were well communicated. It was important to us to work with a contractor who was receptive in all respects and was hands on with excellent communication skills.
We also engaged his Company to shore up the top layers of an original driveway retaining wall with a badly leaning original timber railing with existing pavers . That followed our deck project. Again, Three new top layers of timber ties were skillfully placed , the leveling was precise, the pavers were leveled , graded and replaced with detail. Similar aluminum railing was installed with new rear steps and new gates to our rear yard to match our new deck. We are enjoying all aspects of the work he completed at our home. The work was excellent. He and his crew are highly recommended.

Mike came highly recommended when we were looking for someone to build a deck for us. We knew from our initial meeting we made the right decision. Mike and his crew worked hard and the end result is beautiful. We are beyond grateful that we found Mike and we love spending time on our deck as a family!

Do not use JMJ Construction, he's unprofesional, rude, unorganized and an absolute horror to deal with. My kitchen was suppose to be started mid December, it got pushed to end of December, he was suppose to start December 29th(so to save money I did the demo before he was to arive), he was in the hospital for a day or two and his best friend died. I showed empathy and expected him to start at about2 weeks later, the only thing done the week of December 29th was he had the plumber install the gas line. He promised me the stars and the moon that I would be his top priority after he gets back to work, 2 weeks later he refuses to commit to a schedule or anything, telling me I'm bothering him. He has awful communication, is rude and condescending.
February, his team finally insulates the enterior walls of those house and do some light sheetrocking. His crew would come for an hour or two here and leave and barely get anything done. Jim stated by February 20th the tile floor will be completed, as of March 3rd the tile floor is still not completed as it has not been grouted, sheetrock still not spackled and sanded properly. I had asked James over the last month when the cabinets will be installed as my house has been in total disarray since end of December, refuses to commit and said to stop pushing him, today I ask him to release the cabinets to me and telling him he's fired. He refuses to release the cabinets stating I owed him money, so I told him the floor still is not done, however stated I will pay him the $1,700 I owed for the frist step if he releases my cabinets. He refuses, I personally don't think he has the cabinets, I don't think he's even ordered them. I think he stole my almost $16K initial deposit that was to be predominately for the cabinets. My kitchen is 10x10 about, it should not take this long I do not suggest anyone ever use James, I am reporting him to every state agency to ensure he does not commit fraud against other unexpecting customers. Buyer beware!!!! Plenty of other contractors, don't use this one. He's cursed me out numerous times.... he said he was so frustrated he felt like harming himself, it put me in a very awkward postion.

Do not use- James is very rude and arrogant and his team produces subpar work.

We hired JMJ to complete a garage conversion in our home. Work commenced in Feb 2026 after signficant delays. Unfortunately we had to fire JMJ after 5 weeks due to continued delays, lack of applying for a construction permit, and concerns about quality of work. Ultimately, JMJ was paid $14,000 and only completed a partial demo and framing over the course of 4 weeks. Owner James Griffith refused to communicate and provide a refund of any overpayments or to negotiate a settlement in good faith. To add insult to injury, he belittled me and told me that I was impatient and disrespectful.
Litigation and consumer fraud complaint are in process.
Buyer beware.
