From the installation of my HVAC unit to the yearly inspections and maintenance everything has been great. They recommended and sized the correct unit I needed. My house is almost 100 years old so it was not an easy task to put in a central air system but A1 did it with no problems and cleverly ran the ducts through my closets from my attic which reduced the impact to any fixes needed. Great company. All the employees show up on time, call me to confirm, and enter my house with respect.

Will and his team are fantastic to work with. We had them replace our furnace and entire ductwork system and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Will came by a few times to help strategize the approach and went above and beyond in making sure it catered to all the things we needed. His team is courteous, professional, and take a lot of pride in their work. Will even came by after the project was over to do a full inspection, ensure everything was to his/our expectations and walked us through any questions we had or any future needs. He takes the time to get to know his clients and we are so pleased to have put our project in his hands. Thank you Will and team!

I contacted Will late Tuesday night via email that our heat was not blowing hot air. I was contacted promptly at 8am Wednesday morning by Laurie in the office. She scheduled a tech to be at our home about 2pm. Our tech (William Ward) was at our house at 2pm sharp. We got email and text notifications to let us know when he was on his way with approximate arrival time. This kind of service is very much appreciated this day and age! William was excellent! He diagnosed the problem and solved the problem and the price was very reasonable for the quality of service that Air 1 provided. Thank you Air 1 team!!

We have been using Air One for 5 years at our home for maintenance and repairs. Their technicians are polite and knowledgable, and the company is well organized and gets back to you promptly. We really like the maintenance contract we have with Air 1. We find that the techs are trustworthy and always show us the parts that are problematic. This company is not the cheapest around, but in my experience, you typically get what you pay for. In my opinion Air One is a good value in that regard, and we will stick with them.

Air 1 is our go to heating and cooling since we moved to NJ almost 15 years ago. Their service is excellent and the guys that come to do the work are knowledgeable, kind and respectful.

Air 1 heating and cooling has always been my go to for heating and cooling needs and issues along the way for (30+) years. Always attentive and helpful I have always felt secure knowing that they have my back. I always suggest Air 1 to those looking for a trustworthy heating and A/C company.

I got 7 quotes from contractors to replace our central Air system and I am very happy I chose Air1! They were timely, professional, clean, neat and did an awesome job. I do not drive and they even went to town hall to submit and pick up the permits. All four installers were great and I can not say enough good things about Cathy and Lori in the office. We are extremely happy with the work and plan to use them for a plumbing job in the near future. Thanks Team!

Update 6/14/24:
This is one of the worst companies we’ve ever had to deal with. They are complete hacks. We spent over $10,000 to have them install our HVAC system. After a few months of use last summer/early fall, it has not been cooling since spring 2024. They sent a technician over a few weeks ago to fix the problem. They charged us $250 and the problem is not fixed, the system is still barely cooling. We’re now at the beginning of a heat wave, we have guests arriving next week, and they refuse to come over to fix the system.
Stay far away from this company.

We've had a great experience with Air 1. They installed a new central unit for us last year which has been working great. Do to a renovation this year we had to move the refrigerant line which they did promptly and for a reasonable cost. Also more recently we had an issue that took our AC down in the mid-summer heat, they showed up same day and resolved the issue. We've mostly dealt with Dennis as the tech and Bonnie, Jackie & Lori in the office, all of whom were professional and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them!!

Air 1 did an excellent job installing my A/C system. They started and finished when they said they would, there was no mess, and great at problem solving on how to make it work without using all my closet space. They are very easy to work with.

Air 1 was great!! We had just moved back to 45 Knollwood Drive, Morristown; from London and our furniture arrived, but he house was VERY HOT and the air was not on. I called early morning on a Saturday and also posted on your site that we needed and emergency call out to get our air up and running. Your technician arrived and pinpointed the problem and made sure that our system was up running before he left. Which was a HUGE relief and made moving in much easier.

We have been Air 1 customers for 15 years, but now no more. We installed our first central air unit in 2009 and it consistently caused problems that cost us thousands of dollars to address. We replaced the entire unit in 2015 for apx. $10,000 and that unit has caused us many issues as well. Yesterday, we paid more than $700 to install refrigerant that did not fix the issue. The company then wanted us to pay an additional $800 to do a leak test to discover the leak and then pay another $700+ to reinstall the refrigerant that was installed one day earlier. When I expressed frustration that we have been loyal customers for 15 years and have spent thousands in maintenance issues they were unsympathetic and took no responsibility for the shoddy products they installed. It’s clear to me that their products are poor quality and they make their money on endless maintenance calls. When I attempted to address this issue in a reasonable way I felt I was being gaslit. No manager spoke with me and they refused to make any concessions. Very disappointed. Buyer beware! Learn from our very expensive mistake.

** Adding to this review because I now see the company's response below. This line is 100% inaccurate: "Recently, the client called for a service, and our technician found a refrigerant leak. We provided several estimates for repair and a leak test, but these options were declined in favor of a temporary refrigerant refill." On the contrary, the technician who arrived (who was polite and nice) simply said we are out of refrigerant and told us he was refilling it. After that was complete, he later said if it does not work the next step is a leak test. The next day, when our A/C was still not working, I asked (not "demanded") that we get a refund/credit for the previous day's $770 service so we could pay for the $800+ leak test. This was refused, which is why I am posting here and am so adamant that the facts are straight. I normally do not post reviews -- and when I do they are typically positive. It's hurtful that they claim I am being unreasonable and am "demanding a refund." I just stated that I have been a customer for 15+ years, have paid them at least $25,000 to install two new systems and to address multiple maintenance issues and reached my breaking point. I continue to feel gaslit and unvalued as a customer and want to ensure that other customers don't have a similar experience.

We contracted Air1 to install a mini-split system. Installation was quick and clean. The workers were great and professional. I gave 4 stars because there where two issues we encountered from the install that needed to be corrected. The detail isn't necessary, suffice to say when the issue was brought to their attention, they responded and corrected it to our satisfaction. The system has since worked better than expected in cooling our house. Would recommend and actually already have.

Very happy with my selection of Air1. Estimator took plenty of time understanding our needs and requirements and seeing what had to be done. Price was very competitive. Installation crew was punctual, neat and professional. Building inspectors remarked that it was a very nice job. Back office was always available for any questions or concerns I had.

The while Air 1 team was great during the process! From the time Will (the owner) came out to do the estimate for our central air project, all the way to the final day and explanation of how the system works, they made it painless and easy. The installation crew was professional, polite and timely.

They managed to check off all the boxes on what we needed done and were transparent on expectations, costs, etc. I'm glad we choose them over the two other companies we were considering.

Technician Joe was timely, thorough, and knowledgeable. Price was much more reasonable than the company we’d previously been using. Highly recommend!

Back office staff is great. Technicians come when they say they will, get done what they say they’ll get done.
