After a strong rainstorm my gutter at 2nd story had
Popped off my home, the 2 man crew came and cleaned the heavy debris out and reattached the gutter, leaving it looking like new! On one of the hottest days so far this summer the guys cleaned the rest of my system and left my yard spotless!
    Great job.

Being new to Ned Stevens, the office staff was excellent in helping me establish an account, explaining the service they would provide, scheduling the service and arriving when scheduled. The power washing of the house was great. The technicians were very attentive, careful, and meticulous. My only concern was that the technicians didn't speak English, but I was notified of this in an initial email that this might happen. I had a rodent problem that I wished I could have discussed in further detail with the technician. Other than the language barrier, I highly recommend Ned Stevens.

Actual service is ok. What I am not happy is about the bag of leave debris they remove and expect me to dispose of - which is not right. They should properly clean up after themselves and not expect the homeowner to take up a majority of their trash can with a yard bag. I also have copper gutters which they don’t service and every time they say something is wrong but there is nothing they can do to assist because they don’t have the expertise.

I think the gutter cleaning service is great, the communication is lacking. Call me the day before and let me know you’re coming, as opposed to when you are in my driveway, so my two big vicious dogs in the backyard don’t bite Someone. Our gates are locked as well. Let me know a week prior That you want to schedule me for early October and I would’ve rescheduled, because no leaves have fallen they are going to fall 30 days from now and that’s when I need my gutters cleaned more importantly. Otherwise the actual service is good.

Workers showed up without notice placing ladders and climbing past bathroom and bedroom windows. Not even a knock on the door to ask if it was okay to proceed. That is unacceptable, especially since we asked specifically to be notified in advance.
Ladders were placed against the siding with no bumpers to prevent scratching.
This was my second and last try with this company.

The crew was pleasant but I don’t agree that providing dryer vent cleaning on the outside is sufficient. I prefer to use a service that does a dryer vent cleaning both inside and outside and this company was unable to provide me with the additional inside cleaning, therefore I would not use them again. That is my only complaint because otherwise the service was fine.

After a snafu caused by an associate who was committed to set up a date/time, which he did confirm with me, as we discussed it, which he unfortunately never did schedule and some last minute scrambling, we were finally scheduled for Thanksgiving day. Yes, we were supposed to have had the cleaning on Tuesday of Thanksgiving week, but it was impossible to add it at literally the last minute when, I was alerted to the omission.
That said, the crew showed up on Thanksgiving day earlier than expected, which was fine with me. They were quick, polite, professional and thorough. They cleaned up the areas affected by the leaves blown from the gutter and roof very well and overall, the experience was very positive! I have used Ned Stevens services for quite a while and they have always been very reliable and professional, as they were for the most recent activities. For that reason, I'll continue to use their services, despite the scheduling issue.
In addition, due to the inconvenience caused by the scheduling issue, the cost of the service was significantly reduced.

Same issue as many recent reviews here, they come at the wrong time of year and can potentially be causing damage to the gutters. They also leave a mess, in my case debris all over my kids toys (Which they could have simply moved or asked me to move).

They came for a FALL service on DECEMBER 20.

A late fall service is critical for gutter maintenance. By the time they came there was snow on the ground and ice in the gutters. They clearly struggled with the cleaning and likely caused damage to my gutters.

The phone support is extremely rude and unhelpful. When you finally get to a manger they are much better, but they are not the ones running the day to day services... I was convinced to try again after a HORRIBLE experience, just to be equally disappointed the very next year.

They may have been great in previous years, maybe they got too popular and cut down on their operations but it seems they cannot keep up with their current business.

    Bad service. Unprofessional support.

Go to someone else and save yourself the pain.

Had a great Agent come out to greet me over a month ago. Josh was polite, funny and knowledgeable. The crew came out to do our install 3-4 weeks later than expected but Josh stayed in constant communication and eventually the job was done. They didn’t speak much English or seemed to not want to speak to me when offering them coffee. Job was done well, just took much longer than it should have.

Great work! They were at my neighbors house so I asked for a quote. They gave me a good quote and I asked if I could schedule them. They said they will come over when they are done with the neighbors! They were courteous, professional, and quick. They were very thorough and I am very happy not only with the work they did, but how professional they were. Thank you! One less headache for me!

The sales process is very easy ( I was a former client)..The communication on service is outstanding. They tell you exactly when they’re coming and if the weather gets in the way, they’ll let you know that too. They also did a fantastic job with my gutters and actually cleaned everything up and left it in neat bags for me to dispose of. I could not be happier

We had an excellent experience with Ned’s Home Gutter Installation from start to finish. The consultation with Josh was informative and straightforward—he took the time to explain our options and made sure we understood everything before moving forward. The installation team was professional, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work. The entire process was smooth, affordable, and completed on schedule. Our new gutters look fantastic and are clearly high-quality—I’m confident they’ll last for many years. Highly recommend!

They are very aggressive in upselling. When I called to cancel the next cleaning the rep kept convincing to stay and wasted so much of my time. Luckily, I was persistent and not swayed.

When I first called to sign up and schedule, I was told that by signing up for their silver plan I would receive service the same week. 4 weeks later no one came. While I understand it’s weather permitting don’t tell me to expect service the same week to get my money. After 4 weeks, I called angrily and suddenly they were able to come 4 days!

They do not clean the drains that the gutters flow into. They insist that’s it’s the standard for all gutter cleaning companies. Not in my previous experience. What’s the point of cleaning my gutters but the drains are clogged and causes a back flow? They insisted that they inspected the drain and it was not clogged but if it was they can unclog as an additional service.

First off, yes it was clogged with leaves and mud. I know cause I spent an hour cleaning it myself. If I didn’t, when it rains this week that clean gutters would just flow water into my clogged drain and causes pooling and flooding in the area. The point of gutter cleaning is preventative but that drain is not part of their service! Also they charge extra to remove the debris they collect from the cleaning. I’ll just go back to using my landscapers!

This a ridiculous money grabbing company that is aggressive in upselling and it’s very hard to cancel services. Plus an inaccurate report post cleaning that they inspected my drain and found no clog. They are also not cheap! Stay away.

This gutter cleaning company put me on automatic renewal without telling me Came to my house without letting me know, clean my gutters and took money out of my bank account without my approval. Then they lied and said that they have me on tape saying I wanted that done that they would mail me the tape. Email me the tape saying that they never emailed me the tape saying that be careful using this company because once they have your charge card your debit card they’re gonna come and do your God as a second time without your approval.

We recently had our gutters replaced by Ned’s Home, and we were thoroughly impressed with their exceptional workmanship. The gutters not only appear aesthetically pleasing but also function flawlessly. We were confident in this outcome due to the comprehensive explanation provided by our salesman, Josh, prior to the commencement of the installation. Josh’s professionalism was complemented by the competence of the gutter installation team. We would undoubtedly utilize their services again and would highly recommend them to friends and family.

Signed up for bi-yearly gutter cleaning in August and were told first cleaning would take place sometime late Nov, second cleaning in the spring. By mid-December we realized no one had cleaned our gutters so we called to find out what had happened and were told December had been very cold and they were behind on cleanings but would be sending someone out shortly. About a week later their van arrived but had to leave because they did not have the "right equipment" and then never returned. I called in January and was again told cold weather impacted service and given another date for service but no one showed up on that date either. I called a third time and they tried to schedule a date for February but at this point the cleaning was 3 months late so I have cancelled my plan and will be looking for a more reliable gutter cleaning service. They seem to be very good at selling you plans but not so good at follow through or communication.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Every time you call to speak to a rep you are upsold on additional services, and to make matters worse the phone reps are unprofessional, as is the crew who comes out to service.

We made the mistake of purchasing a package for gutter cleaning (one in the Spring, one for the Fall), so we have been stuck waiting for them to come to clean our gutters.

I called mid-November as most of the leaves had fallen off of the trees in my area, and was told they would be out early December. The rep told me he could not give me a time frame of when to expect anyone and asked if I would like to purchase their lawn care services (LOL!).

Today is December 12th, I received a text that the crew was on their way as the truck was pulling into my driveway. The crew worked quickly, so I have no idea if the gutters on my house are actually clean. However we have a detached garage, where I was able to see the crew working. I have *on camera* one of the crew members repeatedly hacking a tool into the gutter so hard to loosen debris, that a hole was created causing water to gush out in a steady flow.

Ironically, in the Spring the crew noted that this portion of the garage gutter was bent, and offered their services to repair (at an additional cost). We politely declined, as the gutter was still functional, and garage needs larger repairs we are waiting to make. Unfortunately after the crew member intentionally damaged the gutter today, we now have no choice but to make repairs. I can assure you it will certainly NOT be with this company.

I am beyond words for the blatant disregard for my property in which such obvious damage inflicted by the crew was not immediately reported and instead left for me to identify. When we called to inform the rep, his reaction was "Ohhhhhh dang, thats bad", and directed us to file a claim....

We have not (and will never) use Ned Stevens for any other services, so I cannot speak to the quality of whatever else they offer, but given our experience with gutter cleaning, I will never let this company near my home. I strongly advise others to do the same.

Update: Upon speaking with customer service, a crew came out to replace the gutter in a timely and organized fashion.

Disappointing and very frustrating to work with. Called requesting gutter cleaning and was very aggressively sold additional services. Had to explain four times that I was only interested in a gutter cleaning.

After reviewing, the salesman on the phone casually threw in that I was signed up for recurring gutter cleaning, I had to verbalize that I only wanted a one off cleaning multiple times again in response to a very aggressive sales pitch.

He told me they would be out to my house in a few days. It took them three weeks to get to my house. They emailed me in the morning saying they would be there “between a few minutes to an hour” so I prepared my dog and put on a tv show for to distract my toddler. It took them two and a half hours to show up.

The guys finally arrive and get to work. They leave after maybe a half hour. I go out to look around and see a HUGE mess. I’m talking dirt and mud everywhere. Many of my toddler’s outdoor toys completely ruined by being completely coated in filth from the gutters. I then climb on the smaller section of roof (the only bit I can access without a ladder) and see that they just completely missed a large section of the gutters (photo included is from after they left.) They also detached a small solar panel from my roof and just carelessly threw it off the roof into my yard. This doesn’t bother me too much as it’s the one area I can access myself, but just a cherry on top of a horrendous experience.

Get a small, local business to do your home maintenance and avoid this awful overly corporate, monstrously greedy disaster of a company at all costs.

I contacted Ned's home to have my gutters cleaned and my front porch and roof power-washed. They charged me $446 and didn't clean the screened front porch. I called customer service, and they tried to tell me they only do the floors and don't do railings or other parts of the porch. That would be like going to a car wash that only cleaned tires. It was clear that they didn't clean the floor of the screened-in portion (see photo). I still see mold on the roof, even after 6 weeks. I also see the bones of a dead bird that were not removed during the roof power washing.

I have attempted to resolve this through customer service, calling, and emailing multiple times. They initially said that they would send another crew out, but at this point, I shouldn't have to keep chasing. I want a refund.

A crew came out to my house 2 weeks ago to do scheduled fall gutter cleaning and before they started I asked if they were going to use a ladder stabilizer so the ladder itself would not rest on the gutter themselves. They did not have the stabilizer so they said they would let the office know and send a crew with one to work on the gutters.

The crew that showed up this week didn't use any ladder stabilizers and proceeded to scratch the gutters in the front and back of the house in several areas and dent the gutters in the back in two spots.

Several years ago the gutters were scrapped during a cleaning and a crew needed to be called back to paint them. After that incident the customer service representative I spoke with told me that a note would be added to my account that we had painted gutters and a ladder stabilizer would be required. But that doesn't seem to be the case.

When I called to put in a complaint for this latest incident I was told that I have to make a claim through email, that they then would review the claim and get back to me. The customer service rep was then quick to ask if I wanted to pay for next year's service early instead of getting it auto billed next year.

So now I'm left with dented and scratch gutters (again) and have to hope that you make it right.
