Reviews of local pros in Hackensack, New Jersey

I highly recommend Muccia Plumbing if you have a Navien water heater. They were the only company that was knowledgeable about Navien neutralization capsules that came with my water heaters. Omar did the maintenance service for my two water heater units and he did an excellent job. Very thorough and honest. I’m definitely getting yearly service from them!

Excellent service. Had Timothy Tomoshige as our technician for an A/C issue. He was very knowledgeable and clearly answered all our questions in detail. We highly recommend Muccia.

Muccia has been my plumber to go since I moved into my condo 12 years ago. Very professional, know what they are doing. Whatever work they have done for me, I don't have to worry about it. Last time I called there was a mess of pipes and valves under my kitchen sink. I never touched that area since I moved in. I got a leak from my under the sink filter and decided to tackle the mess. Muccia fixed it, went from 6 valves to 3. My under sink area looks so much better 😍. To me peace of mind is worth every penny.

I am extremely pleased with Muccia Plumbing. Our heat went out during a cold spell and Muccia Plumbing arrived the same day. Mark the service technician was great, respectful and got the job done. Kim in the office was friendly and responsive. I will definitely use their services again.
Thank you

Omar was efficient and professional. He showed up on time, is very knowledgeable and kept us informed during the installation of our new fireplace.
We are very happy with the results! Thank you, Omar.

Omar came out to my place Thursday afternoon and took me through all the price options for last minute plumbing repairs in my bathroom. He was friendly, patient and easy to communicate with. He did what I asked and I especially like the new sink hot water valve as it turns off/on so easily! 👏

My 1st experience with Muccia has been a great one. They were very friendly and professional. They arrived on time and got straight to work. They changed my kitchen faucet and provided new valves. The service was amazing and I'd refer Mike and Omar for anyone in need.

Mike and Omar came into my apartment to fix a major leak in the building. Extremely professional. Very nice. Highly recommend to go with this company if you have plumbing needs in West new York, New Jersey.

Used Muccia again. Kenny and Mark very helpful in fixing a leak in bathtub. Clean, fast and efficient. Pro work as always. Trust these guys!

The team at Muccia is kind, professional and efficient. My tech (Timothy) came in the first time to check out the issue, and then returned a second time to resolve it. He went above in beyond in his work and gave advice for the future. Thanks!

This company would get a ZERO star review but they make you give at least one star in order to post the review! We had a home water softener issue and needed a plumber who had experience working on NOVO products. We found that Muccia Plumbing was listed as a company who has worked with NOVO products so we scheduled a service call. We were advised that it would cost $90 (service fee) for them to just come to my house. We were also advised that the plumber would then try to figure out what the issue is and let us know what needs to be done along with what it would cost to do it. This was supposed to be relayed to us before the work was done. Omar was the plumber who was very polite. He looked at the water softener and explained that he is not sure what the problem is and that he would first have to drain the tank and see if it's clogged. If it is clogged he would unclog it and see if the system works properly. When asked what that would cost, his response was let me first see if that's the issue, because it may be something more than just being clogged. He then drained the system with a water pump (with my assistance) which took 5 mins to drain. He then brought the container which weighs about 5lbs to my front lawn and used a water hose to spray the inside of the tank clean. He then used my cleaner and sponge to clean the inside of the tank before bringing it back into my house and reconnecting it. Which again was a simple task with NO tools needed. Nothing mechanical or electrical was wrong with the product, it turns out it just needed to be unclogged with a water hose and cleaner. Everything worked fine once he was done. He was there for 1 hour and charged me $350. That's $90 for the service fee and $260 for one hour of work including taxes, which consisted of mostly talking to me about the product and then rinsing it out. The average plumber in Northern NJ gets anywhere from $45 to $150 per hour depending on the job. In this case there was no hard manual labor involved at all and they were paid double of the highest average rate. Omar said he needed to get to his next service call and that if I have an issue with the price that I can call the office. So I paid him the full price so that he can go to his next job. My wife then called the office and they said they'd get back to us. They called my wife today and said there's nothing they can do. They sent several emails asking us to give them a Google Review, so here it is! Very poor customer service and a way over priced company. I do NOT recommend them to anyone at all! Very Unprofessional! Lesson learned!

Omar did a great job, came through in a pinch and fixed an issue that was not only a problem for me, but at least one other apartment in the building with his handywork. He was professional and thorough and gave the attention required in proportion to the issue. I appreciated his practical and no-nonsense, brass-tacks attitude.

Knowledgeable & friendly plumbers. We would have them do plumbing work in our home if required.

Muccia Plumbing is great to work with! Came out to fix my water heater. The office staff is so friendly and Kenny was so professional. I highly recommend them!!

We use Muccia Plumbing for several times to fix our water system. They always come in a timely manner. Highly recommend Omar, he's professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

They did a comprehensive servicing of our heating system and did a repair on the powder room toilet. We are pleased!!

The staff at Muccia plumbing are the best! They are always quick on response time and are super upfront with pricing. Kenny is the absolute best one they have attending to services. He is always so polite, gets the job done and the right way. And don't get me started on those blue eyes!!

Omar and Elvis were great! Kind, on time, transparent with their pricing, were clean with my space, professional and fast!

Omar and Mike are really professional.

They know their job really well, did very good work, as well as clean up. They were nice and treat me like family. I'm very happy to be a loyal customer to Muccia.

Expensive $375.00, I paid cash to avoid taxes and / or 3% credit card charges. However, Mark & Kenny got the plumbing job done (replaced 2 water valves). Removed bathroom vanity without damage and cleaned up upon completion. I would recommend Muccia Plumging of Hackensack, NJ.
