We have been using Ochs exclusively since 2006. They handle all our electrical installations and repairs, network and cabling installation and repairs, and security cameras. Recently, they helped us take advantage of government incentives that enabled us to revamp all our exterior and interior lighting. We now have much better lighting and have saved money in the process. Ochs also supervised our installation of Level III electric vehicle chargers, handling all paperwork and permit issues. They found us the lowest prices for the various components and services and kept us informed at every stage.

For many years I have been working with Ochs Electrical Contractors in Jersey City, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From the moment they arrived, their professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail were evident. They took the time to listen to my needs, offered helpful suggestions, and completed the job efficiently and with great care. Not only was the quality of their work top-notch, but they also left everything cleaner than they found it—something I truly appreciated. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and clearly take pride in their craftsmanship. One time, they fixed something totally unrelated to the job because they said it could cause a fire in the future!!!! Finding reliable contractors can be a challenge, but this team exceeded my expectations in every way. Roman is the best! He is prompt, knows his stuff and is reasonably priced. I called at few people before I met Roman and he was the most reasonably priced and the one that was most flexible with schedule. I've used him twice now for changing switches as well as circuit breakers and I'd say he knows his stuff and does a great job.

Roman is very responsive, professional and kind! I called and spoke with him for a fire alarms ticket from NJ fire department for my condo. He replied and explained to me what I need to do step by step and gave very professional and useful tips. He was very patient during the whole time and didn't charge anything for answering all these questions! I'll definitely hire him if I need to do any electric work for my condo.

Roman was very easy to work with, diligent and timely. His prices are very fair and we are happy with the work product (he installed a fan and light fixture and fixed a faulty outlet behind our dishwasher). Highly recommend.

Roman was amazing!! I reached out to him via text and he responded so quickly. We talked in the morning and he stopped by that same afternoon. Our place had two faulty outlets (including one that was way worse off than we were expecting) and he fixed them so quickly. We really appreciate it, thanks so much Roman!

Roman was excellent. He responded quickly to the apartment and assessed the panel and stove outlet. He explained the breaker and outlet were in good working order and didn’t need to be replaced. Rather, the cord connecting the stove to the outlet needed to be connected properly. All fixed and ready to cook with the hour.

Left a message about a possible repair, Roman returned my call in the matter of minutes. Explained how his time frame works and gave me a better quote than the competition. I ended up not needing an electrician, but I will definitely use Roman when that time arrives. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

My tenants' power went out in their kitchen and I needed to restore power fast, especially to their refrigerator. Roman was very responsive and able to come within 24 hours--every other contractor I called was slower and less responsive. He fixed the problem for a reasonable price. I recommend him highly.

I have hired Roman a few times and each time he was professional, responsive and thoughtful. He also offers very reasonable pricing compared to other quotes I received. He takes time to explain the issue and takes care of the work right away. It's hard to find a reliable and reasonable liscensed electrician so I highly recommend Roman.

Roman did an excellent job and was able to make time for me when no one else would. I ask a lot of questions (I know, annoying right) but he was great about explaining everything, and why he was doing it.

In this particular job, I had a 20AMP power line for my AC on a 30 AMP circuit connected to an AC I was replacing. He examined the line and made all the changes required for a flawless install of the new AC.

Roman is amazing! Responded to my issue promptly, tried to troubleshoot via text message to get a better idea of what was going on in my house. When he came he knew exactly where to start and was able to fix my issue. He explained everything as he was doing. Very prompt, responsive and reliable.

Can't say enough good things about this man. was very patient as he helped us troubleshoot for the problem with our electricity. We kept on having the system jump on us and we invited him to come help us fix the problem. He went through the whole unit, did a lot of shutting off circuit breaker, checking outlets. He's on list for to-go-to electrician for any repairs and issues.

The repair that I needed wasn't a very big job and I could not get any other electricians to call me back.
