These guys are great! I had a complicated project done by Malfettone Electric. They were professional from the first time I met with Jason. The staff is respectful and cleans up after they perform the work. Everyone is always open to answering questions. They are very responsive, communicate often and offer reasonable prices. I’m very happy with the quality of their work and look forward to the next project-I’m hiring them again!

I have used Malfettone for a complete home renovation and for quick electrical fixes. Without hesitation, I have recommended their services to friends. They are extremely professional. Their knowledge of both older electrical work and modern solutions is extensive! They take great care in your home - they work neat and clean... not many contractors do. Love this about them. Getting ready to do yet another renovation ... I’ve already called Mike and Jason Malfettone!

It was such a pleasure having the men from Malfettone come to work on my project. Firstly, Jason was so kind to reschedule when I abruptly needed to do so. When his men came they knew exactly what work was to be accomplished and not only did so efficiently, plus, they cleaned up after themselves which was so helpful. I would absolutely call Jason for my next project. It was a really delightful experience.

I believe that the true character of a person is when you-know-what hits the fan... The house underground water main was hit by a drill while installing a grounding line. It was a mess. And, Malfettone could have walked away from it. But, they brought in all the necessary people, got the water main fixed and the project back on course in just 48 hours. Jason and Mike kept me fully informed at all times while the emergency repairs were being made by an entire crew of repairmen that they coordinated. A job well done while under pressure.

We used Malfettone Electric and they were great. My husband coordinated everything with Jason. Jason took the time to go over everything we needed done and quickly had two technicians out for the work. They were very respectful of our home and took the time to go over with us everything we needed done. Once complete they went through all the work with us to make sure we were happy with it. They are very professional and we will be using them in the future.

We had a great experience using Malfettone Electric to install recessed lights and ceiling fans. Jason was prompt in responding to our queries and providing a quote. Provided guidance on the placement of recessed lights, type of bulbs and other specifics. On the day of the install, they were very punctual and got lights and the fans installed pretty quickly (in a day). Very professional and very thorough and respectful. We will be using their services in the future. Highly recommend them.

I have used Malfettone Electric to install 6 recessed lights in my living room. From the first conversation with Jason, I already felt this is a professional service provider. Everything is clarified in detail, the quote is well communicated and documented, and the price is fair. The work was done on time in high quality, everything is done as agreed and they cleaned up the place before leaving. I would highly recommend it for electrical work and I would be willing to use them again in the future.

Jason has been great to deal with and his team was super thorough replacing floor outlets and missing grounding wires in multiple plugs. I’d venture they aren’t the least expensive but this is an area to pay what you need to for quality work. So happy to recommend them.

I thought it was as rare as a unicorn, but it exists! I found the highest standard for professionalism, technical expertise, and customer service: Malfettone Electric. Even though Jason Malfettone was away on a business trip, he was constantly keeping in touch with me, providing information and documentation needed for the work. Electricians Elmer and Carlos arrived right on time, and expediently installed a 240-volt outlet and new breaker box. They did their job cleanly, and patched up all the sheetrock impeccably, to where I almost missed one of the patched holes, it was so well done. All I have to do is lightly sand and paint. I went to clean up after they had left, but there was nothing left to clean. Not a speck of dust! I am so impressed. I can't recommend them enough.

There are so many great things to say about Malfettone Electric. I needed a few items to do and contacted Jason. We had a video walkthrough over the phone and felt confident in his ideas. He gave me a few difference lighting ideas to brighten up my new home and wow, what a difference. We installed recessed lighting throughout our home. We also upgraded our service panel to 200amps so we can install our new electric charger in our garage area. Everything from the ideas and way he explained everything, I felt comfortable. His team did a great job! They were very clean, polite and marked all the locations for the lights before they made any holes for my approval. Will definitely call them again for future work!

I highly recommend this team to homeowners. We were experiencing flickering lights and a couple dead outlets. James was very responsive, transparent and timely about our service needs and scheduling. In addition to identifying and fixing the issue, the electrician made recommendations/educated me on simple upgrades from an LED compatibility perspective. He also was super understanding and comfortable with small children running around and watching him do his work. Thank team!

We had a frustrating and puzzling electricity issue in our home so we contacted Malfattone’s for repair services. We were so grateful and appreciative for the professionalism and skill of our technician who came over. From the consolation to booking the appointment, and diagnosis of the problem the whole experience was seamless.

This review is long overdue but better late than never :) . These two gentleman are truly the best in Jersey City and the surrounding area . I had a very difficult time trying to find a certified electrician willing to come to my newly open apartment to install my light fixture. My apartment was making it very difficult because of the liability aspect but Malfettone Electric was able to send all the documents that was needed promptly . On top of that on the day of my appointment they realized a key piece was missing that was never sent from wayfair . Instead of canceling my appointment they went to home depot and was able to get the missing piece . They truly went above and beyond for me from the start to end. So if you’re thinking about booking , DO IT !

Malfettone Electric did a really nice job. Very quick turnaround and reasonable price (was consistent with other quotes I got, with much better availability). The work was done very cleanly and professionally. I’ve used other electricians in the past in JC and were not happy with their work. Very glad I went with Malfettone, and would use again.
