Reviews of local pros in Middlesex, New Jersey

We engaged Katamount for a small project of enlarging the cubby area around our refrigerator so we can actually open the doors all the way. Alberto was very responsive and pricing more than fair. The work was done on schedule, on budget, with high quality, and they cleaned up afterwards. Alberto himself was engaged over the two day project and ensured everything ended up just as we wanted. Antonio, his crew member, was professional and highly skilled. We are so impressed with the workmanship and operations that we are now moving on to larger projects of bathroom remodel with Katamount.

Katamount was fantastic, I called them out to do a number of assorted repairs around the house, primarily treating a significant amount of flooring water damage and replacing all of my flooring. Despite having my house being small and very much "lived in", the team was able to work around my furniture and other belongings, helping move my larger appliances (including disconnecting and reconnecting my washer & dryer). Katamount was transparent and up-front regarding costs, and was more than fair with pricing, in comparison to other estimates that I had received. The work performed looks great and Alberto & the team made this as stress-free as possible.

Katamount replaced our front porch and stairs, and it has completely transformed the curb appeal of our home. The attention to detail and quality of materials used were top-notch. We are extremely happy with the results.

There is almost nothing I wouldn’t trust Katamount construction to build in my house. Alberto and his team are very professional and proficient. Their creative process and execution far exceeds my expectations every time and leave any other company I’ve worked with in the dust. 10/10 recommend

Katamount did an excellent job renovating our kitchen floors, fixing uneven areas in our kitchen, and making improvements to our family room. From start to finish, they maintained a high level of professionalism and stayed committed to the agreed-upon timeline. They arrived on time every day, worked efficiently, and made sure to clean up thoroughly after each work session. Their attention to detail and dedication to quality craftsmanship were evident in every aspect of the project. The entire team was skilled, courteous, and hardworking, making the experience smooth and stress-free. We are extremely pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again for future projects. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Katamount to anyone looking for reliable and top-notch home improvement services

Alberto and his team did a wonderful job. My deck looks absolutely beautiful. His team was professional friendly, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them. Five star

Thank you for always bringing out the best in our designs and making our clients so happy.
Looking forward to working with you on our very special project for 2025 at Mansion in May!

We had Katamount replace our roof, and the process was seamless. They finished in just one day, cleaned up everything, and the roof looks amazing. Super professional and fairly priced.

We recently hired Katamount Construction for a room remodel, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to quality were evident in every step of the process. Alberto has a great team and we’ve already referred some of our friends and family!

Katamount Construction did an incredible job on my deck. Alberto and his team were professional, on time, and delivered exactly what we wanted. The quality is top-notch, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend

I had the pleasure of using Katamount Construction to repair a ceiling in one of my bathrooms. I received an immediate response, and they came out within 2 days to give me a quote. The quote was fair, and the appointment was immediately set. I couldn’t be more than happy with the results. While another company refused the job because it was too small, they didn’t. (See the before and after pictures). They were extremely professional; they came in, did what needed to be done and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Katamount Construction their work & professionalism speaks for itself.

It took me and my husband a while to do renovations in our house. It is hard to trust people you do not know to invade one's privacy. But with a referral of a friend, I was able to trust Katamount to do my complete bathroom renovation.
They are professional and respectful, charged us also with a very reasonable budget, Thank you Alberto, Deivi, Matt and Eric. Good job guys!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Katamount Construction for my bathroom remodel, and I must say, they exceeded all my expectations. From start to finish, their team demonstrated a level of professionalism and expertise that truly set them apart.

One of the standout features of their work was the stunning tile installation. The attention to detail and precision in laying the tiles was impeccable. The end result was a beautifully designed bathroom that exceeded my vision.

Not only did Katamount deliver on the aesthetics, but they also showed remarkable efficiency and adherence to the agreed-upon timeline. Their communication throughout the project was excellent, ensuring I was always kept in the loop about progress and any potential adjustments.

Due to the outstanding experience with my bathroom remodel, I have already decided to engage Katamount for my upcoming basement remodel next year, as well as any future projects. Their commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction has earned my trust and loyalty.

I wholeheartedly recommend Katamount Construction to anyone seeking a construction company that not only delivers exceptional results but also provides a seamless and reliable experience from start to finish. Their expertise truly shines through in every aspect of their work.

I recently hired Katamount Construction for a kitchen renovation, as well as an entire first floor update, including updating all of the floors.
The team was not only perfectionists on their work, but they completed the entire job in just 6 weeks. That included removing two walls, taking the kitchen down to the studs, installing all cabinets and appliances, and installing a new floor.
Their master carpenter David might be the most amazing contractor I ever hired. He made sure that every inch of my kitchen was done perfectly, and even designed and built a hood vent that wasn’t part of the original plans. The best part is that they had the most competitive pricing vs 4 other contractors I bid against. I cannot recommend them enough and plan to use them for future home renovations.

These guys did a tremendous job on our roof replacement!!!!! Not only that, but they meticulously looked for and fixed related issues inside our house, and even did some bathroom repair. Alberto is excellent! Would recommend!

Contacted Katamount for a deck project. Scheduled estimate online. Alberto showed up prepared with sample decking. We decided to move forward that day. Project was completed within 2 weeks and the job was executed perfectly down to the finest detail. Nice group of guys..very polite

Kris and his crew were extremely efficient, clean and professional. Pricing was transparent with receipts being provided for materials. The project came out as desired and looks wonderful. Look forward to working with them in the future.

Hey Chris just needed to reach out real quick and let you know that my mom is extremely happy with the work you and your guys did at her house. My sister said your team was a pleasure to work with. You guys were very professional, neat, reasonable and communicated with her during the entire process. Thank you again and we will definitely be reaching out if we need anything else.

My old roof were recently replaced by Alberto and his crew. They were very professional and knowledgeable about their work. They also gave us a competitive price for their services and we couldn't be happier with our new roof. Thanks for the great job!

Great experience with Katamount. Alberto was great from beginning to end. He was very communicative and was always open to questions or discussions. His crew we're great and always left a clean jobsite at the end of each day. Super happy with the result..will definitely use them again in the future

I closed on the purchase of my first home in November of last year. Immediately after moving in, one of my sunlights had a leak that dripped through the attic into the bedroom below. I had another contractor replace the flashing and install an ice guard in a dip in the back of the house where the slope was not flush (there was almost a step down to the main roof, where the water would collect). More recently, a second skylight began to leak badly. I contacted Katamount Construction for a price quote. They completed the roof in a day - while it is a smaller roof, this included adding plywood to fix the start of the slope of the roof over the bathroom, so it began flush with the main roof, installing a ridge vent (the house was originally built in 1930 and this was not added with any subsequent roofing jobs), and replaced all three of my skylights. The roof is beautiful - the first picture I took from my backyard (steep slope - I live on a mountain), and the second is one Alberto took and sent to me.

I am so, so happy with my roof and will be contacting Katamount for future home improvement projects as well as recommending them to everyone I know.

I also want to add that the pricing for everything was transparent - I knew exactly what I was paying for the roof, the skylights, and the debris removal. I’m going to add that the price I paid for the roof alone (not including the skylights and dumpster) was only a little more than I had paid another contractor for two temporary repairs.

Also need to add that it was raining Friday night into Saturday morning, and the work was done Friday, so I had zero leaks for the first rainfall since I moved in and that has seriously reduced my anxiety.
