Easy to communicate with and excellent work. I spoke with them for a quote, confirmed the contract and had a finished job all within no time. They did a beautiful job installing borders and mulch, trimming shrubs and doing a nice spring cleanup of my yard. I would recommend them to anyone ! I will certainly be using them again in the future.

I have been using A Cut Above Landscaping for nearly 20 years now and they have always been very professional. They come, cut the grass, clean up and leave without any issues. I have also used them for spring cleanup and landscaping work. It’s been a pleasure using this company and will continue to be a loyal customer.

A Cut Above Landscaping helped renew my paver and landscape. My pavers were uneven and had separated over time. They came in removed all unleveled sections and reinstalled. To complete the look they power washed and finished with new polymeric sand. Now my pavers look like the were just installed for the first time.
Also, we had tree ring walls installed in front yard around trees in front yard. Finally, they added color changing lights for front and back yard landscape beds. They were even able to add lights to our existing columns.
Very professional crew that works diligently to get the job done with cutting any corners. Owner was always available to oversee quality of the work.
A Cut Above Landscaping crew even assembled a lard metal gazebo last minute to finalize the look.

We were referred to Scott by our neighbor who had used his services. I was amazed by their landscaping design and asked who they had used.

Concerned about our budget I did not want to forfeit the quality of what I was looking for. I was very upfront about it and explained that if I needed to hold off I would.

I actually contacted two other companies to give us a quote as well. While one was in the same bal park one of the companies quoted us 3,000 more than them.

Scott, meet with me two times and seemed to know exactly what I was looking to accomplish with the look and feel.

He and his employees worked extremely hard to complete our landscaping design and I can not put into words how incredible it came out.

What amazed me more was when the final bill came, it was $450 less than what we discussed. He explained that he quoted us with the possibility of one section potentially having an issue that it did not end up having. I thought it was very honest of him to deduct the $450 off the bill being there was no issue.

I highly recommend them to anyone needing and honest company that works hard and understands how to get the job done to a customers desire. Thank you A Cut Above.

We have been using A Cut Above since 2005. I don’t think he ever missed cutting our lawn. They come like clockwork every week. Not at weird times on a Saturday or Sunday. We use them for fall clean up as well and few landscaping jobs. Very reasonably priced and excellent work. They also invoice once a month which you can pay online. Not some flyby night guy knocking on your door Sunday night looking for a check.

Cut Above Landscaping installed a patio (pavers) at my Mill Lake home. We're very happy with the results. Price was reasonable, crew was skilled and professional and took care to cleanup the site when the work was complete. I would highly recommend their services.

They went above & beyond to make us happy. We are not easy customers but they kept our happiness as priority #1 no matter the situation. Scott & his team are great at what they do, a lot of expertise in patios( Scott always proactively have his crew reach out for ideas and suggestions and for a quick turn over), retaining walls and anything to do with landscaping. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with the results of this project, and how terrific it was to work with Scott. Scott and we discussed ‘next steps,’ and I am very certain I made the right choice to continue with Scott and his wonderful crew, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, & easy company who work very hard and understand the intricacies of getting the job done to the customers desire. If anyone is looking to get any hardscaping completed now or in the future. My wife and I highly recommend A Cut Above Landscaping. Scott the owner was great to deal with and as you can see from the pictures, they went above and beyond our expectations with the patio, outside kitchen, sitting wall, gas fire pit and waterfall/slide. Got a prompt accurate quote, all details concerning pricing and treatment applications were expertly explained. Their program looks to me as a good value. My first treatment went exactly as they said it would. The tech was very professional.

Do not use this company! I heard good things about them and admired a neighbor's recent work done by them. Well, the sales guy made all sorts of promises regarding the quality and professionalism of landscaping installation. Then, you never hear from him again (after he collects his commission). They covered/blocked 4 sprinkler heads, failed to install the bushes I asked for, and then harassed me repeatedly for payment. I had 1 bush be replaced immediately, bc it wasn't what I asked for. Then, three bushes started dying after less than 2 weeks --- bc they couldn't be watered properly (due to Custom covering/blocking my sprinkler heads). They couldn't come for several days to 'free' the sprinkler heads, but they kept calling for payment. Finally, when I mentioned that several brand new bushes are dying...they referred me to the 'agreement', I signed which stated it was my responsibility to flag sprinkler heads, and my responsibility to hand-water. Instead of standing by their work and making sure I was satisfied, they hide behind generic contract language that gives them a loophole. What a terrible way to do business. Please don't waste your money.

I've been working with Custom Landscaping and Lawn Care for years. I've found them to be a great group of people. They're friendly, responsive and they know their business. I most recently had them do new landscaping in front of the house and they did not disappoint! What a beautiful job they did. Thank you Frank Sr. and thanks to your awesome team of professionals!
