I have used Custom Landscaping since moving to my home 21 years ago. Over the years they have made my outdated landscaping look amazing! They continue to weekly lawn mowing, pruning and trimming when needed, irrigation and anything else I need. This company was responsive, on time, did quality work, and checked with me throughout the day to make sure everything was up to my standards and the way I wanted it all done. I will save myself the embarrassment of posting the ‘before’ pictures of my yard, but trust me, they had lots of overgrown plants and weeds to work with. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the results and their communication along the way!

We hired this company to do sod for back lawn in October last year (6 months ago). They did a poor job leveling the ground. There are small dips and hills in many areas. They told us this was normal. We pointed out a lot of the sod they used had weeds in it already. Again, they said this was normal. They replaced some of the sod which had weeds. Now (6 months later) we are seeing a LOT of weeds. In addition, some areas do not seem healthy. Note that we are using their lawn care service (Healthy Lawn) to maintain it. Our front needs sodding however we will be using a different company. We do not recommend this company.

Update: it is 10 months since they put the sod down and things have become worse. We watered as per instructions by Healthy Lawn (part of the same company). They could not save it. See updated photos (the ones with the blue dot). Do not hire this company.

Custom Lawn and Landscaping has been an ongoing disappointment. They consistently overcharge, routinely inflating the amount of time supposedly spent on jobs. This isn’t a one-off issue—it has happened on almost every occasion, making it feel intentional rather than accidental.

What makes it worse is the complete lack of accountability from management. After multiple phone calls and emails requesting a call back, no one from management ever responds. Calls go unanswered, emails are ignored, and nothing is resolved.

To be fair, the woman who answers the phone is very sweet and polite, but that’s where the positives end. She repeatedly says someone will call back—and it never happens.

On top of billing issues and poor communication, they’ve also broken and left downspouts disconnected, creating additional problems that were never addressed.

This review is meant as a warning to other customers: expect inflated invoices, no follow-up, and zero management involvement when issues arise. There are far too many landscaping companies out there to deal with this level of frustration and disregard for customers.

From the first time Pedro stopped by to give me a quote he was extremely professional and FAIR! Gave me ideas and the end product was phenomenal. I get so many compliments! The owner was so professional and had great ideas to help my project look the way i ultimately wanted it to. They finished everything on time and came when they said they would.. Always neat and did an excellent job. I called Compass back several times to do other projects bc I was so happy with the way everything turned out.

We hired Compass Landscape (Pedro) for our paver patio construction in Yardley PA. It was kinda big job with ~1400 sq ft patio, gas fire pit, and in built gas grill and landscaping. They did a great job and finished on time with high quality work. Very happy with the work. Also planing on using them for front yard work. Great!!

Excellent work by a personable, knowledgeable owner, Pedro and team. Provided next day service for removing shrubs and roots, and purchasing and planting new trees at a reasonable price.

My husband and I go with our gut when choosing our contractors and right away we knew Compass Landscaping was the best option. The price was competitive but fair. The job was finished on time and with quality .(using high grade materials and plants).
Within the first few weeks of completion, several neighbors stopped over to say they loved what we did with the yard. Many of which took Frank's name and number for future reference. Overall, the service surpassed our expectations.

Pedro and his team are top-notch. From my first contact with him to the completed job he was extremely professional. I only had a small job to do but he treated me with the utmost respect as if I were spending 10’s of thousands of dollars.
When I first contacted him he promptly came to my home to check out the job and provide his insight and suggestions to my thoughts. He pointed me in the right direction to find a mosaic I wanted to include and had his team properly install it.
Pedro personally finished the job and corrected a few very minor things he wasn't happy with, nothing I even noticed but he did.
His work is meticulous and professional follows through on his promises and shows up when expected. He kept me informed each step of the way.
