Another great season from Custom! Our lawn continues to improve with their hard work and I’m always grateful to them for their help.

2020 was our first season utilizing Custom Landscaping and we couldn’t be happier. Their quality of work and attention to detail every week is better than any other company we’ve used over the last six+ years. They’re wonderful with communication of our lawn’s needs, but they’re not pushy to sell a service or product which I appreciate. I’d recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I have been a customer for approximately 4 years. Custom Landscaping does a good job. They are very reliable and when the weather permits, they are very timely and I appreciate that. I also use their other lawn services (reseeding, aerating, fertilizing) and my lawn looks good. When I initially started my lawn was run down and needed work. Today it is one of the best lawns in my neighborhood. The staff is polite, friendly and very responsive. Prior to selecting Custom Landscaping, I had gone through 3 gardeners in 3 seasons. My neighbor also uses them now and both our lawns are cut at the same time and always look great. I would recommend them!

I hired this company to remove leaves from my house, the work they did was great. What was even better, was the customer service. I dealt with a gentleman named Scott, Scott was available for any of my questions and or concerns. Any business with customer service this wonderful has my business 100%. Highly recommend.

Be careful with custom landscaping, they are over priced and never complete the work. They charged us $2,000 for a spring cleanup and never finished. Been calling they ever since and never get a return call. They sent two people for 2 hours and said they would be back tomorrow and never showed up. It's 3 months later and I'm still waiting. Still in the process of fighting this with my credit card company. Never been more upset with a lawn service company in my life. Think twice before you sign a contract with them.

They are a great company. I have used them for years with lawn mowing. Responsive, fast if you need to call them and they respect the growth of the grass when coming to cut and won't cut it unless necessary, showing they care and aren't out to just make money. Used them for the annual leaf yard clean up for a few years too, great deal and good work. Plan to continue to use them in the future going forward. Great customer service too, so easy to talk to about anything and extremely friendly.

Hired Custom Landscaping this year for my weekly lawn service and to do the mulch around the house front and back. Considering it was mostly stone and weeds it all had to be dugout and removed. What I thought would take more than a day to do took the crew of 2 just under a full day. Thank you Custom Landscaping and especially a thank you to the crew who did the work. For some reason I am unable to post photos.

We have used custom landscaping for years and are extremely happy with all their services . They do a great job and our lawn always looks beautiful. In addition their office staff is always so friendly and helpful. We had a party this summer and they squeezed an extra cut in for us to accommodate without issue. We also use them for mosquito services and can enjoy our yard at night without getting bitten . I highly recommend using custom landscaping

Very professional crew managed by an organized person. Shows up when they say they will and does the work exactly as promised. What more can you ask.

Update: I just had their fall leaf clean up service for the first time and they were excellent. Fast, efficient, and clean.

Custom is an excellent all around lawn and landscaping company they have done numerous jobs on our property from using in a lamppost, to replacing and finding the type of mulch we were looking for for our shrubs trees and landscaping, to trimming installing landscaping lights , shrubs, flowers, they are reliable, friendly. attentive to our requests, and offered suggestions with turned out to be exactly what we wanted, they even did a one time lawn cutting for us even though we were not on their regular seasonal program for that. Nick who comes out to give landscaping and other estimates is great at providing ideas and giving us a perfect end result each and every time. Great company, great customer service. Great all around experience been with them for a number of years and love the work they do

I have been using their service for a few years. They are very good with communication and responsive. If here is ever an issue due to inclement weather or otherwise, they let me know quickly. The operation is very smooth, they come in and do the work, I get billed, I never have to think about it - just what I wanted!

When gas prices were high, they added a fuel surcharge - which is understandable - and when the prices came back down, to my surprise, they removed the surcharge. They could have kept it on like so many other businesses have, but they’re honest and honorable. I like that.

If I need more than the routine maintenance from them, I know they’re just a call or email away. Two thumbs up.

I can’t recommend this company enough! I have been using them for a few years and they are on top of their game. I never heard excuses of any kind, they mean business!! It is so easy to work with them, what a pleasure! Every year, I tell them I want them to come back the following year and they do, I never have to chase them around, they show up and they know what they have to do.

Everyone at Custom Landscaping is wonderful. From the owner to all of the employees. Everyone is knowledgeable and willing to help. They are responsive and know their stuff. We have used Custom for almost 10 years and often get compliments from strangers just driving by, stopping and commenting on how nice the lawn and house look.
End of Season update for 2023
We continue with Custom Landscaping and are still more than satisfied. Excellent all around. We even use the for our lawn sprinkler maintenance.

This is the first year I have used Custom Landscaping and I am happy with their service. The guys who come are friendly and listen to me when I tell them what I might need them to do. They are professional and my lawn looks great when they are done. The cost is reasonable and affordable for someone like me on a fixed income.

I have been using Custom Landscaping for several years and am still happy with their service. Nothing has changed since my last review. Since I'm not sure this posted, I'm doing it again. So if it shows up a second time you know why.

9/21/2023 I can only repeat what I've said before. I've been using Custom Landscaping for 4-5 years now. The guys that come are always friendly and continue to do their best. I honestly have no complaints.

First year using custom and can’t be happier. They’re here every week and my grass always look good. I have never needed to call them for any problems. They keep my card on file and bill as they do the work which is really convenient as I never have to worry about it. Thank you to the whole team at custom for doing a great job this year!

The guys came out and did an amazing job they even moved the trampoline to mow under there! Couldn't be more satisfied with their service

As part of my spring cleanup, I requested 2 limelight hydrangea trees. My first quote was $900 for these 2 trees, after some back and forth, they came down to $600 for these 2 small trees (I paid $150 for one thats 10x's nicer at Dearborn). After install I noticed that they were not limelight hydrangea trees and asked them to replace with the tree on my invoice. Their reply was that "they could not help me with this" I cancelled and hired another company that was recommended by neighbors.

Would not at all recommend Custom landscaping. I live in a townhouse community to which Custom manages the general property. The weekly cleanup is very poor. Their goal seems to be how fast they can clean up and not the quality of job. Workers throw a huge amount of leaves / debris up against the resident’s property and over their enclosed patios without any concern. There is a concern for safety. Custom always blocks main sidewalk areas that are constantly used by elderly residents and residents with small children. When asked to move their truck a little further down so the sidewalk entrance is accessible, they either ignore the request or become very defensive and rude. Almost, always not moving their truck. Custom also damages items on the property, such as security signs, etc, even though they are placed near the home and no where near areas where Custom is responsible to clean up. Breakage is never acknowledged by Custom. Would not at all recommend Custom for landscaping…..poor job and poor attitude.

Been using them weekly for lawn cutting service for a couple months. So far so good! No complaints. They are always on time and do a good job. No missed appointments

Company signs contracts then refuses to complete the work in said contract when asked. Unprofessional and the owner is rude and disrespectful.
