Jim is great. He is highly recommended. He came out pretty quickly and gave an honest quote. He helped me with financing. Very affordable. I needed a central air for a long time. Definitely recommend this company and Jim as an extra bonus. He will always be my go to guy.

My AC unit broke down on a Saturday and by Wednesday I had a new fully working HVAC system at a reasonable price.

Well I was having issue with the unit that was installed when I purchase my home new construction everything was good till a couple years when my unit stop working I called Goodman they installed the unit and since then all is working GREAT!!! GOOD JOB GOODMAN A.C ... I WOULD RECOMMEND 👍👍

Single mom and homeowner here! After one summer season in my new home with only window units, I reached out to David to installed a new AC unit, replace old heater, and redo all the vents/duct work. I have a crawl space and never once stepped foot down there- out of fear lol.
David was great! He worked his butt off on his hands and knees in that cramped space. Afterwards he asked me to go in the crawl space to inspect his work, and still out of fear I just couldn’t! David took a video and sent it to me so I can see all the work that he had done. He is so trustworthy and I cannot thank him enough for dealing with me and my silly fear of that damn crawl space! BOOk him, you won’t regret it!

I have used Air Cool several times. I have found David to be dependable, professional, reasonable and the most honest. He never tried to sell me anything I didn't need. He came to my house within an hour of me calling him on a hot summer day when my AC stopped working. He traveled to Williamstown during rush hour without hesitation. I would definitely recommend him to everyone I know. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

This company does great work, everything is meticulously done and end result is a beautifully installed system that works just the way you expect it to. David takes great pride in his work and the results show it. He has installed a gas boiler for our radiant heat and a hot water heater and we were very pleased with both jobs and highly recommend him and his company. He provides quality work that is hard to find these days with contractors and is competitively priced. Give him a call for your HVAC needs, you won’t regret it.

I do NOT recommend this company. I have never taken time to write a review (good or bad) for a company, but this seemed necessary as the customer service was AWFUL.
If you want things done thoroughly, in a timely manner, and done right, I would recommend going with a different company.

Todd came to assess our refrigerator/freezer through our home warranty. He asked questions on previous repairs and what we were currently experiencing with our freezer and refrigerator. After explaining to him our three main issues, he took a BRIEF look in our fridge/freezer and guessed what he believed to be wrong (based off of what I told him was happening and his 1 minute assessment). He said overall, if our home warranty asks, he would recommend a new fridge/freezer. Note: Todd NEVER fully examined our fridge/freezer, didn't take the time to run diagnostic tests on the thermostats, damper, etc. He spent most of his time talking.

Two weeks went by and we had to follow up with Nu Air to ask why the report hadn't been sent to our home warranty. They had no good reason and submitted a half done report that day only listing one issue. Todd listed one thing as the issue (the damper) and did not even mention our additional issues.

We recently hired a new company to come out (A Call Away Appliance-highly recommend!) and they spent over two hours running every diagnostic test, pulling everything apart (including the damper that worked perfectly fine!!) and made a new diagnosis. Witnessing all the time and effort this company put into our refrigerator/freezer made us realize even more the poor customer service we have received in the past.

This was a yearly maintenance checkup. My serviceman was very good!. Thank you!

Unfortunately I really cannot recommend this company. After showing up 2 hours late to the appointment, they caused some minor damages while repairing one of my appliances, not a big deal at all, mistakes happen, but then the tech left without acknowledging or fixing the damages, leaving my laundry room door hanging off the hinge. When I called the office to ask them to please have someone fix it, they acted like this is my fault, claim the door broke because it was too old, and repeatedly tell me how it's such an easy fix as if I should be the one who does it. After a half dozen calls into their office to figure out when they will fix it they give me vague answers, meanwhile the door has been off the hinges for 2 weeks, and they're telling me they are doing me a courtesy by being willing to fix what they damaged. When I told the owner I don't think this is being handled very professionally, he started giving me a lecture on how professional his company is, how I am "harping" on a mistake that has been apologized for (to be clear, no one had ever apologized, in fact they had tried blaming me and telling me I should fix it myself), and how he just wants to move past it - awesome so do I, and yet I can't get him on my calendar to fix it. He's saying I'm being impatient because he needs to see if this "very common" part is available at Home Depot or needs to be ordered, it has been a week and a half and he hasn't looked into ordering it yet. I have been working on the business side of multiple home improvement companies for the past 8 years, and I can confidently say that this situation was very poorly handled. Ended up having a different contractor make the repairs just so I wouldn't have to deal with this company anymore.

Always a pleasure to deal with Nu-Air; they have been servicing the HVAC in my house (Center City Philly) for more than a decade. 🙂
