I'm sorry to say I had a horrible experience with Wolfschmidt - it really boils own to poor quality and poor communication.

We called Wolfschmidt out because our drains started backing up. They did come out promptly and told us that our sewer line had collapsed in some places and needed to be replaced. They gave us a quote and we proceeded with them - however as new homeowners with zero experience dealing with sewers, we didn't realize they only quoted us for half of the job (house to sidewalk) to actually repair our sewer line. We had several other professionals come out since and every one said anyone with any experience would have known that the entire pipe needed to be replaced. The fact that Wolfschmidt did not tell us this until after they completed house to sidewalk suggests they either don't know what they were doing or were taking advantage of us. The owner actually said to me on the phone that they "always try to do the minimum work" so I do feel it was the latter.

The actual experience of them doing the work they did complete was very bad. There was minimal communication and conflicting information provided at every step of the process. I spent entire days waiting for them to show up when they said they would, only to call the office and find out i was on the schedule for a completely different day. This is very problematic - customers could have lost income taking days off of work to wait for them, only for them to never show. Half the time when I did call the office no one seemed to know what was going on.

Then there was the quality of the work completed. They absolutely destroyed our front yard (which every other company I've spoken with has said was completely unnecessary), did not properly fill the gaping holes they left until I repeatedly complained - which led to flooding in our basement which has never happened before. They also left a hole in our basement wall despite assuring me they would fix it, which continued to let water and dirt into our basement (pictures attached).

Less that a week after they finished the job we started having the same problems. They then came back and told us the pipe under the street also needed to be replaced (which they should have told us from the start) necessitating another massive work project, which could have and should have been handled at the same time as the rest of the pipe. We had already paid them every single penny we had, they did not fix our problem, and then they had the nerve to come back and say they want $11k more to finish the job. At this point we were beyond angry. We called in several other companies for quotes, and ended up going with one of them. Having dealt with actual professionals for the rest of this pipe replacement has been a revelation, I can't believe how badly we were misled and treated by Wolfschmidt compared to this other company.

The icing on the cake is that when the new company opened up everything to replace the rest of the pipe, they discovered that Wolfschmidt didn't even do the job right. They are fixing Wolfschmidt's bad work for us free of charge because they feel so bad for us.

I still can't believe they robbed us of everything we had and didn't even do anything right. I honestly feel like we should be talking to lawyers but I am so mentally and physically drained from this experience I just want it to be over.

Please think twice before using this company.

Wolfschmidt was here within hours to deal with the water packing up into the stationary sink in our basement. They have always been here for us. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I had to find someone else to replace my heater. Wolfschmidt came to my home, took some information, measurements and photos and said they would email my estimate in a few days. I never heard back from them after they left. Its all good however.

I had a blockage in my sewer line that made sewage water come out of my first floor bathroom. Elton came out and was able to quickly and accurately figure out the "root" cause of the issue. He was professional, friendly, and also provided guidance on future steps to prevent the same issue from happening.

I'm definitely going to reach out to Wolfschmidt to have Elton come back to do other plumbing work for the house.

Wolfschmidt is a wonderful business. All of the employees from the night phone answering to the owner are kind and respectful and sensitive to pertinent needs. Several different plumbers pulled together and did a major install for me, doing work that was different than the standard replacement. During that process if considering many alternatives, they took time to do some random repairs and adjustments that needed attention. All was done quickly & efficiently.

I called Wolfschmidt this morning and got a same day appointment to look at an issue with my AC. The fix was simple dare I say user error lol, even so Bill the technician was very kind and explained in detail what may have caused my issue. Just so happens my toilet handle Brock this morning and Bill quickly fixed that as well. This was a positive first experience with Wolfschmidt!

From the initial phone interaction with Hannah to the speedy service by a well educated, extremely polite tech, Lian(I hope I have his name correct); we are extremely pleased with Wolfschmidt. Definitely a go to for any of our future plumbing/heating needs.

Called regarding HVAC occasionally blowing cold air before blowing hot. Despite being XMas Eve (morning), tech came out on time, inspected entire system, then indicated that all was working correctly - it was the fact that the system was being operated to cycle too frequently (thermostat to be lowered). When this is done, the heater cannot turn on even though the fan begins to blow - once the timer clears, then the heater kicks in. It was merely learning how the system operates that was required. All good & they didn't even charge me for the visit!

We are extremely happy with the speedy response and excellent work done. They were able to fix our gas pipe, check for leaks and we are able to use our gas heat and stove again - Thank you

The service technician was very polite and courteous. My complaint is that he had to charge me $220.26 for replacing a rubber flapper in my toilet which took him less than 10 minutes. I am not upset with him because he had to charge what Wolfschmidt instructed him to do but I am really saddened that the company charged me $220. 26

We highly recommend Wolfschmidt Plumbing, Heating and Cooling! We have been using them for years, because, they are honest, reasonable, on-time and the team take’s pride in their work. This time, Pat and Eric did an excellent job putting in a customized filtered water line with an outside frostless spigot for our motor home. Elton was fantastic. Installed a new water line for our refrigerator and had our washing machine and dryer connected and running with zero issues. He was professional, on time, and went the extra mile to explain everything he was doing. Will absolutely have him back for a future HVAC or plumbing assistance.

Highly recommend! Had my whole hvac system replaced along with water heater. Have a bi-level and always had issues with temp differneces. They fixed the issues and the system works great! Thank you so much! The guys were great and you didn’t even know they were there when done!

My furnace blower died and the technician was great. after two days of no heat, I was charged $25.00 for a filter after spending almost $1500. The filter was not the right size and feel this is taking advantage of customers in their time of need. I have been with this company for many years and feel some loyalty is due. The technicians that come to the home are great, but who is making the costs????
