Constraction reviews in Summit, New Jersey

Quality work, fair prices, and good communication. Lee and Keith remodeled our primary bathroom shower. Great communication throughout the process, no surprises on costs or timing, and high quality work / attention to detail. We'd be happy to work with them again!

Lee and Keith performed a major renovation on the rear of our house. They were consistently as invested in the quality of the work as I was and the finished product is fantastic. Reasonable and transparent pricing throughout also!

We hired Lee and Keith to remodel our guest bathroom and we could not be happier about the process or the result. I reached out to a few contractors to get quotes when we first decided to redo the bathroom, and when Lee and Keith came by to check out the bathroom and provide a free quote, I knew instantly they were the ones I would hire. Their quote was clear and fair and I was impressed by their knowledge and positive attitude. They readily agreed to our time frame and even finished early (and on budget). A few minor, unexpected issues popped up during the renovation, but Keith and Lee were always quick to brainstorm an alternative that didn't cost any additional money. Overall, they were an absolute pleasure to work with and I can't recommend them enough. I'll be sure to go back to them for any future renovations!

Highly recommend Altior Contracting for basement renovations! Lee and Keith were fantastic throughout the entire project. They were incredibly communicative, keeping us informed every step of the way. Their honesty and flexibility were refreshing, and they were always happy to answer our questions and adjust plans as needed. The quality of their craftsmanship is top-notch - our basement looks amazing! They were also diligent and finished the project on time. On a personal note, Lee and Keith were both friendly and enjoyable to work with. 5 stars! We will definitely use them again for future projects!

Our house is almost 100 years old, so we knew we needed the right contractors for our renovation – the house has its quirks, slanted floors, and host of unique challenges.

We shopped around, secured several quotes, and hands down, Lee and Keith were the best! We wanted quality work, a fair price, and open communication – they delivered all three. They promised to treat our renovation as if it were their own home, and they certainly did.

Lee and Keith are truly exceptional! Honest, fair, upfront, and responsive every step of the way. From the initial consultation to contracts, to timelines, to final finishing details, they communicated clearly so we always knew exactly what to expect. They answered all of our questions, ensuring we were comfortable throughout the process - and final results exceeded our expectations.

Every person who has seen the renovation has commented on how beautiful it is, and most have asked two questions:
1. Who did the work?
2. Are they taking on new projects?

We’ll be working with them for all of our future home projects – no one can match their work.

I’ll keep this short — Keith & Lee do amazing work. It’s what I say to everyone who asks about our experience with them — doing a very substantial home renovation on an older house: they felt like family. They were fair, flexible, great at communicating, and their work was excellent. Everyone that sees our space ask for their info… and at this point, they’ve worked on seemingly every house in our neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Keith and Lee were great to work with throughout the remodel of an outdated bathroom and enhancing a living space. Great communicators, clear quotes, flexible scheduling, and quality work made the process quite smooth from start to finish. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have some remodeling done at their own house.

Lee and Keith did beautiful work in my home on a bathroom remodel. They really go above and beyond to ensure you are happy and the job is done right. I will be using them moving forward for other projects. Highly Recommend Altior!

We had a great experience working with Altior. From start to finish, Lee and Keith were professional, reliable, and easy to work with. The crew was consistently clean and respectful of our home, which made a big difference during a renovation.

The quality of the work was excellent, and communication was always straightforward and honest — no sales pressure, no upselling, just clear explanations and practical recommendations. Lee and Keith were friendly, approachable, and responsive whenever we had questions, which made the entire process feel smooth and well-managed.

Overall, we’re very happy with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to work with Altior again. Highly recommend Lee and Keith if you’re looking for a contractor who does quality work and is genuinely easy to work with.

Great service! Very faster.

Donna, Lilia and Karen are always friendly and helpful. They always try to help make my job easier. Thank you ladies! 😁

We first used Classic Construction to work on the Butler's Pantry in our historic home and their excellent work is indistinguishable from the original cabinets that were made 130 years ago. The commitment to detail and "getting it right" from Ian and Mark and their team is far beyond what I've encountered in other contractors in the area. Classic is the only team I will trust in my home and I highly recommend them!

Classic Construction did an excellent job in replacing my old windows. The work was completed in a timely fashion, as promised; I am quite satisfied and happy to recommend them.

They wanted to see my plan before any project manager talked to me. The only reason I can think of is that they want to work on large projects only and didn't want to waste time on small ones so they want to see the plan first. I did not like to give out building plans to any random customer service. They said they will call me back but never did. I guess they may be the contractor to go for if you are doing reno for a million dollar home.

Classic has been great, bringing the right people to do a variety of home improvements and repairs. Very good quality work, attention to detail, where things are fully thought through before the work begins. Cost is reasonable, and they show up when they say they will.

We have used Classic Construction for several jobs so far. I have nothing but great things to say about them. I read one of the other reviews about them asking for plans or drawings before they come out. What’s wrong with that? They are thorough. I started with them with a small job so that review is totally off base. They show up when they say they will, which is rarely the case with others. I appreciate them asking all the right questions, things I didn’t think about but need to address. We’ve used them for big and small jobs, started out with a small job and when we saw the quality of the work, how attentive they were to my constant worries about keeping the construction dust away from the rest of the house, they wear booties, they put up plastic protection like no other contractor I’ve used in the past (I’ve renovated in 2 other houses which is why I’ve become so paranoid that the past disasters would repeat), we then felt comfortable using them for bigger jobs and we have not been disappointed at all. We just started a kitchen renovation with them and I am once again very impressed with their work. They LISTEN! If something is important to me, they are on it! When we give them our constant changes, it’s never a problem. They also happen to be a really nice bunch of people, on site and in the office. I don’t think I will ever use another contractor.

Classic Construction did an excellent work in adding an addition and building a deck. The attention to detail was extraordinary. The pace of the project was almost choreographed. I highly recommend.

I had Classic Construction remove and replace several of the walls on the second floor. They also painted the walls. The quality of the craftsmanship was more than excellent. I'll have them come back when we get to the next phase of our rehabbing our house.

This is a great company! They have skilled workers and can fix a problem swiftly. I now don’t worry every time it rains!

The team did a fantastic job, on time and stayed till the job was complete. Left the area spotless as they were never there.

Great company that does beautiful work with a great crew! All of the workers were very respectful and neighbors always commented about how non-intrusive they were to the street. Definitely recommend!
