Constraction reviews in Summit, New Jersey

We used Uno Group to transform our kitchen space. We are completely THRILLED with the results. Joe and his team were great to work with. From first meeting, Joe understood exactly what we were looking to accomplish. Joe’s team was meticulous about their work, professional, clean and efficient. Their work was beyond what we anticipated. We highly recommend the Uno Group and will definitely use them again for future projects.

We are so grateful to Joe and the Uno Group team. We recently worked with Uno on a bathroom in our 118 year old home that needed to be gutted and completely redone. While the project was small, we felt that they made us a priority once the work began. Nothing in the room was plumb or level and Jorge and the team did an amazing job on the woodwork, framing, and tile. They executed our vision perfectly and we look forward to working with them again!

Joe & his crew are awesome. They finished on time and the results are beautiful. All the guys at the Uno Group team are easy to work with, willing to consider to alternative ideas, and very good at customizing in tight spots. They arrived when they said they would and easy to communicate with. I love my new kitchen, bar area and stair well. Thank you!

We used Uno for a house renovation we have been looking to do for years. We met with several contractors and in the end, could not be happier with our choice. Joe was incredibly patient meeting with us several times before we officially signed on. He listened to all our ideas, answered our MANY questions and provided great suggestions. He has a FANTASTIC crew of painters, tile, stone specialists and more. Each person that came into our home cared greatly about their work and it showed. On top of that, they were ALL good, kind and respectful people. We love all the work they have done and could not recommend them more whether it is a big project like ours (kitchen, bar, fireplace and full house painting) or something smaller. You will NOT be disappointed!!

Joe G. and his excellent team of Uno Group professionals recently finished a beautiful guest bathroom remodel and we are thrilled with the results. Joe was clear and honest about cost and timelines while working out the details during the budgeting and pre-planning phases. We valued his expertise from the practical solutions during concept and build-out to the finishing touches that elevated the project beyond our expectations. In addition, his entire team is diligent, respectful and helpful. They left the house spotless at the end of each workday. The tile work by Juan, in particular, is gorgeous and deserves a special mention. We will certainly look to Joe and Uno Group for help with any future renovations.

I used Uno Group for 2 major renovations in my home and would HIGHLY recommend them!! The entire team is extremely hardworking, showed up on time everyday, and most importantly the quality of their work is impeccable. I now have a beautiful basement and my vision of my dream kitchen was brought to reality! Joe was great to work with and very easy to communicate with and offer ideas. I’ve used Uno Group twice so far and plan to use them again in the future for my next reno!!

We used Uno to replace and paint rotted wood trim. Not only did they do excellent work, but the crew was fantastic, neat, meticulous and professional! Joe and his crew take extreme pride in their work and went above and beyond to make sure we were thrilled with the job. You can tell that his customers are extremely important to him and their satisfaction is his number one priority. We look forward to using Uno again for our future renovations!

Uno Group is by far the best contractor I have ever encountered. Joe and his crew are exceptional to say the least. Originally Joe and his team renovated our kitchen in 2017, it was such an amazing transformation that it felt like we had moved in to a completely new home. Since then we've had Uno group renovate our basement, create a mud room and just recently redo our shower. I often joke with Joe stating our home should be a showcase of his work. Quite frankly given the high quality of their work and the attention to detail why would you go with anyone else ?
I highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for a contractor.

We’ve used many contractors through the years having done many rounds of renovations, and hands down Uno Group is the best we've ever worked with. Throughout our project Joe, the owner, was a consummate professional from communicating what to expect on a daily basis, to being on schedule and always ensuring that everything was done to perfection. From beginning to end you can tell that his team of skilled craftsman love their job and take pride in the product they put out. From here on out Uno Group will be our go to contractor.

We had Uno Home Improvement renovate two bathrooms for us- a Jack and Jill and a powder room. They were professional and prompt, always responding to our questions immediately. They also provided amazing recommendations for fixtures and tiles, all of which we were very happy with. Joe and his team at Uno were patient with us, and kept us informed on every step of the project. They also were very clean- never leaving a mess. We are extremely happy with their work and the finished product and will look to work with them in the future. We highly recommend them.

Joe and the Uno Group team just completed the kitchen renovation project at our home. They demolished the old kitchen and did a complete makeover to it.
We met few contractors before we selected Joe. The difference that made him stand out was he always had some innovative ideas which enhanced the beauty of our kitchen.
He has a wonderful team who are professional, cordial, punctual and dedicated to the job. Joe was always on top of everything. They delivered the kitchen within promised timeline. Thank you Uno Group!

Uno did a medium size project for us - full master bathroom renovation, powder room refresh, kitchen facelift and whole house paint. Joe and his team were extremely easy to work with especially not living close to the house at all. The workmanship is very good and efficient. Joe gave a timeline and he stuck to that timeline. There's a lot of attention to detail and Joe is really good helping you create that vision as well. I would definitely recommend them to others as well as use them for future projects.

Joe and his entire team from Uno Group are A-one professionals in all they do. From the initial design consultation and estimate of work to be done Joe has been an integral part of making my kitchen and bath renovation all I dreamed of and more. He listened to all of the areas that I wanted to change for better function and design, and found a way to make them happen. Joe also made sure the flow of work done always met with my approval. Throughout the process Joe continued to consult with his staff and me to see if there were any changes that would make the project even more functional and beautiful. His design collaboration truly tied together my ideas with his expertise and experience to make my kitchen and bath something I will always love. Working with his suggested sources for materials and finishes was also a great success. It is clear that he has developed a strong partnership with others in the construction and design field, as they were anxious to be a part of one of his projects. Throughout the renovation phases my home was treated with respect, areas were kept clear and clean, work spaces were cleaned daily, and materials were always stowed safely and out of the way. All of the workers who played a part in my renovation and remodel took pride in their work. They were patient with me and the completion of their work. I would definitely recommend Uno Group for any work that you would consider for your own home.

Joe and his team were nothing but exceptional with our kitchen renovation. Not only do they do great work, but they are just good, kind (and clean!) people. It's never easy having people working in "your space" yet they did make it that way.

Joe has it all-- a great designer-- he thought and presented ideas that no one else ever brought to the table-- and he was also very considerate of our own ideas and helped make our "dream" ideas a reality. Joe is also a good communicator-- letting us know exactly what to expect and when to expect it each morning. He cares about his clients and making them happy.

We are already looking forward to our next project with Joe and his team. Thanks again!

Uno does an amazing job on any project! I have worked with them multiple times and they do not disappoint! The guys are respectful, neat and always on time. Just finished most recent project of woodworking and whole house paint. Highly recommend!

We used Uno Group Home Improvements for a kitchen remodel and are thrilled with the outcome! Joe and his crew were professional and did an amazing job completely gutting a very dated kitchen, removing a wall between the kitchen and dining room and helping us design a beautiful new kitchen. Working with them was easy as they handled everything from floor to ceiling. They made great design suggestions and were responsive to all of our requests. Even during a pandemic, they were reliable and made sure that the project was completed as quickly as possible. I would definitely use Uno Group for future projects and highly recommend them!

I am so thankful that my husband and I chose Joe from UNO Group to do our house renovations. Joe is exceptional. He is easy to communicate with and listens to all our needs as well as also making suggestions of his own which worked out really well that definitely pleased a picky person like myself. I am so happy with his work. Joe leads a wonderful team that consistently worked very hard to get a lot accomplished in a short time line. Their work exceeded our expectations and we definitely plan on rehiring Joe for future home projects.

I cannot say enough good things about Joe and his whole team. I honestly didn’t believe a contractor like Joe existed because we’ve always ended up having issues with either timing or work product in the past. But Uno Group was an absolute pleasure to work with in every way. They did our nursery and playroom and refinished our basement. We had a strict timeline because we were having our first baby and Joe made sure to complete the necessary work when we needed it. He was always responsive to my requests and flexible when we added additional work. As to the day-to-day, every single person who walked through our door was absolutely lovely. The guys were all polite, friendly, helpful and professional. It was a pleasure to have them here and I think our golden retriever was genuinely depressed when they finished their work. They not only did excellent work, but they left the areas they were working on cleaner than when they arrived, which was really important to us. We will definitely be reaching back out to Joe and his team in the future!

Joe from Uno Group renovated our master bathroom and we are thrilled with the outcome. He was easy to communicate and work with, and his attention to detail was top notch. His crew was meticulous, professional, and clean- couldn’t be happier. Any issues or concerns were quickly assessed and addressed. Would highly recommend and we look forward to renovating our basement next!

Before I settled on Uno Group I reached out to about 10 other contractors in the Morris / Union / Essex area. While some did not respond at all, others did and came up with decent, if not good, quotes. What set apart Uno Group for me was the expert attention from Joe, the owner, from moment one. He brings an experienced eye for detail and is ready with candid suggestions, as he meet customers where they are and offers solutions that truly suit the space. We worked closely to put together a reasonable work plan for my kitchen and bathrooms, as he introduced me to his key suppliers (e.g., plumbing, countertops and shower doors) who all brought his same level of professionalism to their parts of the job. All in all, I recommend him and his crew very highly and look forward to working with him again in the near future.

We had Uno Group create a laundry room and full bath in our basement and had them come back about a year later to renovate our primary bathroom. They do great work and Joe is so creative when it comes to customizing a space. He was able to accommodate most of our requests and offered some really thoughtful design ideas. He’s also great at problem solving when working around the constraints of an old house. We are so happy with the spaces they worked on. Highly recommend!
