I’ve been using TruGreen for a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with their service! My lawn, trees, and shrubs has never looked better, and I truly appreciate the expertise they bring. The specialist, Jose, was fantastic—polite, professional, and took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do. It’s clear that TruGreen takes pride in their work, and the results speak for themselves. Highly recommend their services!

Excellent service- my lawn looks amazing since using True Green- they explain in detail any issues with the lawn; and will address patches that may occur- the support specialist Alec has been amazing and assists with questions as I am often not home when the service is performed- highly recommended

My lawn is green, but full of dandelions and weeds. My neighbors lawn is pristine up to the property line. I don't understand as I have been a trugreen customer for years.

Adrian P, our lawn technician, with TruGreen, showed up in the timeframe as promised. Adrian then proceeded to treat our entire lawn area, and was very thorough. We are impressed and happy with his work. TruGreen has really helped our lawn health, they’re easy to contact, and have great customer service.,Highly recommend.

Tech was very friendly and polite. I mentioned that we still have many weeds. He said he was here to apply fertilizer and then said he would apply week killer. Saw him applying both the fertilizer in a spreader and the weed killer via hose.

Terrible experience. I’ll keep it brief, our lawn got worse after using Tru Green. Dead grass, patches of clovers and weeds, and uneven grass growth. I recently cancelled service and I’m looking forward to working on my lawn myself.

The service techs were friendly, but they were here a for a very short time, not paying attention to detail and clearly using minimal or cheap products.

Save your money!

The technician did a good job, however he said the back of the property was not included on the instructions for application of the lawn treatment.
Please add that (the back of the property) to the lawn, weed treatment.

Year 2 of Trugreen and our grass is the worst it's been in 6 years. We have more weeds and dead spots than grass now. We have called multiple times to complain and have yet to hear back from them.

Specialist did a great job. Oscar Ramirez He’s old-school he makes sure it’s done correctly and he answers every question I have. Ruben Diaz was the prior specialist that always took care of my lawn, but unfortunately he passed away so I thank God that Oscar came today. He answered all my questions and explain the problems I have in my lawn and how to treat it. The prior guys only put Down the application that was required and moved on never noticing issues that I was having and how to prevent it and how to treat it.

This is my first season with tru green and so far I’m very happy. My lawn is thicker and greener than it ever has been. Yes we have had allot of rain this season, I know that helps. But the thickness and fullness of my lawn, it hasn’t looked this good since I laid the sod down in 2019. For the price and consistency, sign up, you’ll be happy. But don’t forget to water!

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother who used TruGreen in Upper Saddle River to service her lawn in Ridgefield Park. My mother has always had a lush green lawn that was the envy of the neighborhood when she was able to take care of her lawn herself. She is no longer able to do the work, so she signed up with TruGreen and as a result, they destroyed her lawn. They come in and do a quick spraying, which also killed her rose bush in the process. She has called them several times to complain but the lawn keeps getting worse. They try to blame it on the dry weather but she waters consistently.

Customers should not accept results like this from a "professional" lawn care company! I have also been unhappy with a different TruGreen franchise at my home in NJ. I now use a local landscaping company that provides a high level of customer service and beautiful results. Shop around for a reputable company before giving your money to TruGreen.

I added Tree and Shrubs to my service last year based on the reps recommendation. The following season all my cherry laurels died , one rose bush died and another shrub in the front yard too. No accountability or compensation for the damage. Terrible customer service when they did send a rep he said only here the lawn care. Ugh!

Our customer service rep, Rick Schreter . He actually came to our home and checked out our lawn before suggesting our treatment. His communication skills are great and always returns a phone call or text. .
We’ve only had 1 treatment, but have taken all his suggestions and feel confident results will be positive.

Technician came to the door and explained to me that they were fertilizing all my trees and shrubs, very polite and courteous.

Good experience with Jose, the person applying the pesticides. I walked him around the property and showed him places where not to spray. He was understanding and demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the products being applied. Looking forward to a nicer lawn.

Service and quality are terrible. Totally ruined my grass weeds are growing everywhere. All burnt up worker is very sloppy and lazy. Leaving pellets all over my brand new concrete sidewalk staining them. Along with leaving ration debris all over sidewalks terrible job

From a beautiful, fresh green lawn, Trugreen turned my lawn to brown! The technician came down and said that he will send guys to treat it, nobody arrived. I tried emailing customer service, nobody responded! They should change their name to "trubrown"....

He was very nice and did well
But he was in too much rush saying lot of places to go so in that rush if we are not monitoring I have doubts that want be doing good job

The technician was very thorough and did a great job spray all the weeds in my backyard, which were missed when the last technician sprayed. He was professional and seemed very knowledgeable. I would like to request this technician come to my property for future applications. He’s a great asset to your team

I called TruGreen back to my lawn after aeration, it looked like they missed a section. They promptly called me back and arranged a revisit 3 days later. The tech made sure he covered the missed area. I am pleased with result.
I will say that being home when applications are being made is more satisfying than wondering exactly what was done.
