Reviews of local pros in Waldwick, New Jersey

The crew was very professional and courteous. They did an excellent job of pruning and trimming two white pines, a row of arborvitaes and a Japanese Cherry tree. They cleaned up all of the debris. My wife and I are very pleased with the result.

I'VE BEEN WAITING NEARLY A YEAR FOR A QUOTE from Bartlett.

Been a customer of Bartlett for a few years, but their recent service is atrocious. I am still waiting on quotes from visits from 6/20/2022 AND 4/25/2023.

Despite my numerous attempts to call, leave messages, emails sent to the administrative assistant at Waldwick, Kara Faraldi, about how long we've been waiting for a quote, "Can you please advise when we'll receive this quote?" Nothing. No response.

Initially when we first started using Bartlett, they were wonderful, prompt visit, knowledgeable arborist to advise us on how to take care of our plants, quick quote, etc. However, for the past year they have absolutely dropped in service. We had requested a quote for some sickly shrubs around our property in June 2022. Ryan Grabosky visited our property and spent an hour or so talking to us about what treatments were needed. However, he *never* sent over a quote. We reached out multiple times via email requesting a quote of the services we discussed, and he sent us a quote on removal of a dead tree. No quote for the services needed to take care of our sickly shrubs. I reached out to Bartlett again this spring to ask for a quote another, then another arborist visited, David Eylers. He was an hour late to our appointment but still arrived. He advised us on the treatments needed for our plants & trees, but still again. NO QUOTE. We even provided him a written request, with photos, of exactly what work we needed based off our discussion w/ Ryan from June 2022. That still did not help.

I'm concerned now that our sickly shrubs will need a lot more help to recover. It'll cost us a lot more now to treat them and bring them back to full life compared to if we addressed these issues immediately when we first called Bartlett.

STAY AWAY. Horrible service. Not reliable.

Excellent work - thorough and expert (both in execution and advice). I have used this company several times and have never been dissatisfied.

Bartlette Trees love trees as much as you do and know how to keep them healthy. My trees were struggling and their experts evaluated the situation and put me on the path to improving their health. Highly recommended them.

Matt and Mike thoughtfully reviewed my trees and pest concerns and assessed each one with me. They created a practical plan for tree health including canopy pruning and nutrition. As a tree hugger who considers trees as part of the family, I am happy to have Bartlett working with me to keep my trees healthy.

Matthew and the entire team are extremely professional, kind and n knowledgeable . No matter the questions Matthew always had answers that were thought out. The crew that performed the work were as nice as you could ask for. I’d highly recommend Bartlett for any tree related work!

The work was done quickly and professionally. The crew was extremely nice and communicated very well regarding what they were doing. Very good experience. I have a huge 90 year old maple that needs special attention and care and I feel confident entrusting that care to this team.

We had a tree fall down and take out a power line in the middle of a storm. Ben came to check it out right away. He got his team to our house quickly to take care of the fallen tree and trim up our remaining trees to make sure we didn’t have any issues with future storms. Every neighbor mentioned how impressed they were at the speed of the service from call to resolution!

Did a fabulous job navigating tree trimming and removal in one of this city's difficult to deal with "donut hole" properties. Prompt, experienced, and very easy to work with. Great job and clean up. The team was professional and knowledgable. I highly recommend.

Great job trimming my trees and thinning out overgrowth. I had 4 large trees cut back in the front of my house and Bartlett made everything look natural and cleaned up the property of all materials. Very happy with the results

Several years ago we were advised that most of our trees had needlecast and we were on the way to losing our entire privacy line of trees which we counted on so much. Bartlett Tree improved our situation more and more with each and every passing year, and now we are maintaining all that has grown back thanks to them. We are so grateful to have saved all those trees. Keith Bimbi is an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate application specialist who catches and discusses everything that comes up with our plants, bushes, trees, etc. He is a great asset for Bartlett Tree, and cares about each property he services. His knowledge base is unpassable. Dave Eylers, who comes out before Keith to examine any possible problem is very responsive when we call, and tries to accomodate and sync schedules whenever possible. He remembers details very well. They try and succeed in keeping their customers happy. I highly recommend the Waldwick office of Bartlett Tree Experts, they are the experts, don't hesitate.

We are very pleased with the work done on our property. Ryan Grabosky , the arborist was extremely knowledgeable regarding the trees and shrubs on our property and how they should be trimmed and pruned. He is polite and a pleasure to work with. The crew was efficient and cleaned up when they were done. We recommend Bartlett for any tree work that needs to be done and will not hesitate to use them again when necessary.

We have 2 very large Oak trees which we love and the Bartlett crew has taken care of them for a couple of years now.
We are very impressed with their knowledge of what’s needed, leaving area spotless
and their safety measures. Very professional

I bought my first home a little over 3 years ago and have a lot of property and trees. I contacted Pat Burke with Bartlett Tree Experts to help with my trees and shrub maintenance. Pat and his team have been terrific. Very responsive and knowledgeable. They have done wonderful work in keeping my trees and shrubs healthy and happy. I look forward to continuing to work with them and recommend this company for all your tree/ shrub maintenance needs.

Barlett Tree Experts are exactly that!! EXPERTS! Plus, their customer service is exceptional.

My children gifted me a tree many years ago which I thought was dead, until Bartlett came on the scene. With their expert knowledge of how to treat this particular tree, my favorite pear tree came back to life. Thank you for resurrecting such a special tree on my property. Your company is the BEST!!

The Arborists at Bartlett has been monitoring and providing maintenance on our mature trees for the last three years. I appreciate their guidance and prioritization in safety and tree preservation. Just recently we completed a larger project of pruning throughout the property to reducing branch failure. And removal of Norway maple tree. The crew was here over a three day period. Communication with the lead Arborist throughout the project was clear and consistent. The crew was respectful and worked diligently. I highly recommend Bartlett Tree Waldwick Office for any tree work in Bergen Co.

I was certainly impressed with the knowledge and expertise of Matt Walters, the Bartlett Tree Experts arborist, who had been assigned to us. He was patient, friendly, and accommodating. He accessed our needs and scheduled an appointment for the work to be done. The crew was exceptionally skilled, expert, and professional. They were polite, courteous, careful in protecting our lawn and the surrounding areas, and did a fabulous job cleaning up the debris. I found their prices to be fair and reasonable. I recommended Bartlett to my neighbor and she asked me if I would use them again, to which I replied, I wouldn't use any other tree service! Bartlett has my A+++ recommendation and I am thrilled with the outcome.

The guys at Bartlett did an excellent job pruning and removing a tree at our property in Hackensack NJ. They worked really well with us on every level - competence, promptness, courtesy, collaboration and competitive pricing. We will never hesitate to have them back!

Bartlett did an excellent job trimming a holly tree for us. We also count on them to help trim other trees on our property. Same results-excellent work done in a timely fashion.

We have been working with Bartlett tree for over 10 years. Competitive pricing, friendly and prompt service, extensive knowledge. I would highly recommend them.

Professional, efficient, compassionate, knowledgeable, and kind are rare qualities to pull together these days when dealing with contractors. But the staff at Bartlett Tree has an abundance to all of the above. I honestly feel that the care of my trees is in the best possible hands. This is a good company.
