From the first contact with Ed Kirbi to the final delivery by Marlon, they were amazing. The first picture below will show you the worn area of the art rug that we have had for 20+ years and the second picture is the restoration that Ben Hersh completed plus cleaning. The rug looks brand new and we are so happy that we didn't settle for a rug that we would never have loved as much as this one. The rug is a reproduction rug of a KLEE painting. So many colors and this was a difficult restoration but they came thru with flying colors. Thank you Ed, Marlon and all the employees that worked on my rug.

I called Mikale in tears. My grandmother had recently died and left me a rug that she had custom made overseas in the 1950s. The rug was in her living room, where the family spent every holiday and gathering – so it really felt like it was a piece of her. After 70 years it needed some repairs and cleaning, so I sent the rug to a local rug shop. It came back destroyed. All the color was running and bleeding and it looked practically tie-dyed. I realize a rug is just a rug, but it felt like a lot more, and I was devastated. So I called around to a bunch of antique rug specialists and learned that fixing something like that was not only really complicated and painstaking, it was expensive. One company quoted me $7,000….
Mikale also explained that fixing the rug would be really tricky and that no one could make a promise that it could be brought back to its original condition. But, he said, they will pick it up free of charge and test their cleaners on a small spot. If they can’t fix it, he said they would send it back at no cost. If they were able to fix it, he’d send along quote. A few days later, he sent some pictures and like magic, whatever they used was working. Mikale knew I was very upset about the situation, and he honestly could have quoted me some sort of special pricing that I would have agreed to. But the quote was simple math from their stated prices on their website -- $1,200.
Fast forward three weeks and lots of updates along the way, the rug is back to its former glory and I couldn’t be happier. Again, I know at the end of the day it’s only a rug, but Mikale was so non-judgmental and understanding and HONEST. I’m so grateful to him and everyone who worked on it. I can’t recommend them strongly enough.

Pick-up & return were flawless!! I was sent photo’s of my carpet after it was cleaned (from the Warehouse.) My Carpet is a family heirloom from my Grandmother (who always had the carpet sent out for cleaning) The carpet is 50 years old/ ; after having it sent out for cleaning it looks brand new & will continue to last for generations/ due to regular professional cleaning!

We have three rugs that needed desperate care … one of them is very special to us. I didn’t want to call the ‘usual’ rug cleaning companies since it needed special care and I felt it might had been ruined by inappropriate cleaning throughout the years. It took me two weeks of research and the company that kept popping up was Ben Hersh Rug Cleaning and Repair. I called and was attended by a very nice, understanding, pleasant, kind lovely lady that made me feel I made the right choice. Sure enough they came and picked up our rugs and assured me it was all going to be fine. Well I almost screamed when my rugs were delivered today and I saw how wonderful and beautiful they looked … especially our favorite. As soon as we finish work on the apartment we’re going to call them back and do our coach and two chairs in the living room. This was the best research I’ve ever done with the best choice and results. Oh and the price was very reasonable, and the personnel professional and well mannered. I know our family and friends are going to asked us about them when we lay our rugs out again. Please give them a try they are wonderful … enjoy.

We have used Ben Hersch Rug Cleaning on two occasions. Both times they came to the house to pick up the rugs and did an outstanding job. They were professional, good communication, great service and outstanding cleaning. Highly recommend them for any of your rug cleaning/repair needs.

Quite pleased with final results. From purplish/brown dog vomit stains to hardly visible/clean area rug. What a huge relief!

Never had a rug professionally cleaned, but was upset my non-machine made wool rug was badly stained. Had sticker-shock with rug-cleaning quotes and Ben Hersh was relatively more reasonable. Their quote included pickup/delivery which seems to be standard (I’m 2 hrs away!) and they will “throw everything they have at it and try”. By contrast, a more expensive quote will deep clean, if stains still there, will try other methods the cost of which they can’t even give me ballpark idea.

Took almost a month but well worth it. Customer service was excellent - friendly, helpful, quick to respond and schedule. Thank you Ben Hersh team! And to Natalie, Mikale, Marlon and staff who picked up my rug.

From my first phone call to service and delivery USE Ben Hersh! The best carpet cleaning. A miracle they removed a horrible stain. My carpet looks brand new. Service from beginning to end was EXCEPTIONAL. Don’t look anywhere else!!!

The best experience ever my rugs 60 years old look like a brand new like you can see on the pictures, I got new binding and new fringes the rug being clean and with the padding they feel so soft.

Ben Hersh Oriental carpet cleaning company might just be the best oriental rug company I have ever dealt with! The service at Ben HERSH is amazing. Their quality of cleaning and repair work again is amazing. I have a an old hand knotted wool rug from Asia that has been in my family for many years so when I needed it to be cleaned, I called Ben Hersh. Marlon came and picked up my rug and also delivered it when finished. Marlon was easy to work with & trust worthy. The rug was well-cleaned with a quick turnaround for such a large rug. The price was fair and reasonable based upon rug size. I would use Ben Hirsch again and recommend the company to anyone with a rug that needs careful & delicate handling, cleaning or repair.

Ben Hersh did a terrific job cleaning my three Turkish rugs. Their customer service is also exceptional. They answered my many questions patiently - available even on Saturday. This was my first time using Ben Hersh Rug Cleaning. I will never use anyone else! My rugs had been cleaned by another company over the past several years. They never came back looking clean. We had our 40 year old hand braided 9x6 rug cleaned. Great experience. Friendly, on time, no hassles. The rug is now back to its vivid colors. (also the cat urine smell is completely gone)
