This is the second time that I have used this company (Feb 2023.) They totally removed all of the old weed cloth and rock from my front yard and replaced it. It looks fabulous. In addition. without my asking them to, they did trimming on bushes and the tree. The final price was exactly what the initial quote was. This is a great company and Robert know what he is talking about.

one year ago-My yard has never looked so good. R & S landscaping came on time, did more than I had anticipated and cleaned up places that I had not talked to them about. They saw what need to be done and did it. They were on the expensive side but it was worth it.

R&S landscaping was one of only a few companies who responded to my inquiries about handpulling weeds from my mother-in-law's front yard. They were professional, showed up to assess and provide a written estimate at the day and time they scheduled, and then did a terrific job. The front yard looks wonderful. They were respectful, asked clarifying questions about what she wanted done, and she is so pleased! We highly recommend them!

I am so happy with their work! My back yard was in desperate need of a leveling and a new patio. They gave us a very competitive quote and did fast, quality work. I love the way my back yard turned out and I'm so glad we worked with R&S!

R & S landscaping cleaned my garage and cleared out an overgrown pond in my back yard. This company is the BEST!! Robert and his crew were punctual, energetic, knowledgeable, experienced, professional and pleasant. The company's dump truck made the garage cleaning quick and easy. I highly recommend R & S landscaping!! UPDATE: I just had Robert and Stephen and their crew clean and re-stain my deck. It looks fantastic and they were fantastic!! Their attention to detail in impressive!!

Robert and his team were great. He came a few weeks before and we talked about everything we wanted to get done. We got a few trees removed, stumps removed, dead bushes removed, and we got new desert friendly plants put in. He and his crew were fast and everything was done in just over an hour. All for a fair price too. Next time we need landscaping done I know exactly who to call. He also told me what each plant we had was and how often to water existing or new plants. He’s a great guy who has a lot of knowledge after doing this 30 years.

R and S Landscaping is a 10 out of 10. Robert worked with me, offering suggestions to the problem I posed to him. He looked at the scope of my needs and initiated a plan to solve it. She gave me date for working on the project showed up on time with his crew and completed the work. Everything was done top notch, no mess or anything for me to have to do. He found a leak in my irrigation system and had it repaired without a delay. I would recommend R & S proudly and without hesitation. I further work to complete in the fall and Robert and crew will be the ones I trust it to.

We are very happy with the work done by Robert and his crew. Our yard looks BEAUTIFUL! Besides being hard working, these guys are extremely knowledgeable in all things landscaping, from pruning trees and bushes to irrigation systems. They did a fantastic job with spreading gravels and rocks which enhanced the look of the yard. We got great advice on how to use the drip irrigation and what plants we might want to add in future. The owner, Robert is very personable, professional and just a pleasure to do business with. They showed up on time from start to finish and communication with the crew and office was always easy. We highly recommend R&S and look forward to continued yard maintenance with them in future.

We had the last segment of a flagstone walkway bedded in sand, and wanted it set in cement. Rob of R&S and his crew showed up on time and got right to work. They removed the old sand bedding and placed it where I asked. Their arrangement of the flagstone in the new concrete bed was pure art. Their cleanup was so well done it was almost surgical. They even molded their last bit of cement around my downspout to stop erosion !!
R&S has been in business for a long time. They know what they are doing, they do it well, and are true professionals. I can recommend them without reservations.

No call/no show for a scheduled estimate. I had to call them to see what happened. Office Mgr was nice and stated she'd call her estimator to see what happened and let me know. 24 hrs later I had heard nothing and called them again, this time getting answering service. I left a message stating if I had heard nothing in 1 hr, I would be canceling the work request and moving on to a different company. I received no call back, but did get an automated email the next morning from them stating my appointment had been canceled. Very cowardly. I don't appreciate my time being wasted. Went with Roadrunner who was on time and immediate with the estimate and all communications.

I am very happy with R&S Landscaping and highly recommend them. I’ve used their services three times—twice for hardscaping (grass removal, replacing metal edging with bricks, and some irrigation work) and once for tree pruning. Their pricing is very competitive, and they were able to schedule the work quickly. I also appreciated that their quotes were detailed, which stood out compared to others I received. Each day, the crew kept the area clean and tidy, making the whole process stress-free. Most importantly, the quality of their work is excellent—I couldn’t be happier with the results.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with R&S Landscaping on two major projects over the past year, at two different properties — and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Grant and his team have completed several projects around my house and business. Not only was his team on time, he went above and beyond on several occasions to make sure my project was exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend Cutter's edge. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I had a lot of specialized requests for Grant and cutters edge. They were able to provide us a design and install that meet all of our demands. We could not have asked for more diligent responsible and accurate work. We will use them again for sure!

Great crew! They installed a paver patio with an intricate design in our backyard. They were prompt, worked tirelessly, and completed a total makeover of our outdoor living space. All at a fair price. Couldn't ask for much more! Hope to use them in the future for other landscaping jobs around the yard.

Jorge did a great job replacing my back porch roof. Justin, Santiago, and Joe restained all the wood and added pavers. The porch looks fantastic! It took a few months for them to get started (all good landscapers are booked solid), but the professional craftsmanship was worth the wait. I highly recommend.

Grant showed up a little early to my scheduled appointment time, taking notes of my property, then setting up his equipment. He told me exactly what he was going to do, and what the pre-emergent would accomplish. After he finished treating my property i was very pleased that he explained what was expected and answered my questions with clarity. There were no shortcuts, no skipped areas, no nonsense. I had them redo the landscaping of our front and back yard. They were super knowledgeable and helpful in laying out the design. They were incredibly skillful and fast in excuting all the demolition and laying out the new pavers, concrete sidewalk, sod and new plantings. Great attention to every detail. The end product was exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for expert landscaping.

Grant Jacobsen and his crew with Cutter's Edge, LLC completed a pretty significant backyard landscaping project (weed removal, sod, gravel and crusher fines) for me in Rio Rancho recently. His price is affordable---not the absolute cheapest and by far not the most expensive (yes, I did obtain 4 diff estimates). The peace of mind having a company that is licensed, bonded and insured is a definite bonus. His team was efficient, clean and detail-oriented... I am looking to have him complete some work in my front yard soon...and would recommend him to any of my friends/family without hesitation.

What a wonderful Christmas gift! Grant and his workers came and did a big job in our front yard all in one day. What a great transformation! Cutters Edge did an incredible job on my property. They helped thin out unnecessary plants, replanted in other areas that had died out and came back to do additional work I needed. The crew is polite, hardworking and delightful. Will be using them every year.

I do not believe I have ever had an experience with a contractor that was as positive as the one with Grant and Cutter’s Edge!!
