Called for a client to see if they travel to Los Lunas, and what they charge. He responded by asking me if I read his reviews. Advised I did not, as I'm in a time crunch to have a leak inspection done. He started to lecture me about making "assumptions". I don't understand where that came out of, but I did say I just wanted to know his fee and if he travels to Los Lunas. He told me the amount, I said thank you and he hung up on me. Very unprofessional and rude. And not cheap!

The amount paid to locate a leak in just shy of an hour is a little on the high side. We were expecting to have it done last Tuesday and we understand that some jobs can cause you to run behind, but then being told we had to wait until Monday (due to holiday) was a disappointment...and i know they felt bad so was told some $ would be knocked off the bill. We were told it would cost anywhere from $350-$480 and we paid the pricier end with only tax being knocked off. Not bashing on the company or Steve or Ray because they know what they're doing. Just felt what we paid for less than an hour of their time is high.

Greg is awesome! He was diligent in looking for the leak, and the location he identified was literally within 1 to 2 inches of the actual spot.

They came and spend time trying to find the leak only to create a new leak while drilling for the first one. Then they charged me over $480 and left. After I dug up the leak I noticed the water line had a drill hole from them in it. I had to pay $160 to get that fix and I still had the original problem. They haven't been back since. Im looking at filing a small claims case now.

Caesar and his son came to my house to detect for leaks in my house. I already had a plumber take a look at it, but he couldn’t find so he recommended this company. Their service was professional. I wasn’t experienced with this type of problem. They were very patient when they explained what the problem was with my house. Highly recommend using this company if you suspect a leak at your house.

ABQ Leak Locators came to my home to detect a leak I knew was somewhere between the street and the main shut off valve in the house. They started by looking for the leak in my spare bedroom, emptying out half the room, moving furniture and pulling up the carpet. They wanted to cut part of the carpet out around the closet, ruining the carpet. After hesitation from me on that they said they could just drill the carpet with a hole so small I wouldn't even notice. Why not offer that up originally instead of ruining the carpet cutting it? They pumped gas through the water line and figured that the leak was outside. Why not start outside before pulling up all my carpet? They told me I would have to pay a professional carpet service to come put the carpet back down! I should have been told this before they pulled it up un necessarily!! Now on top of my $520 bill from ABQ Leak Locator I have to pay for a carpet service. When I asked the owner if they could do anything to help he just snapped at me and told me all other services (ex. electricians) will leave a mess as well and it is my responsibility. I have never had any other service tear up my house and then leave without being capable of putting it back together!!! Horrible and unprofessional, I would not recommend.

Abq leak locator provides quick response and amazing service. After having a leak that no one else could locate, Steve and his team came out and located it below our slab quickly and accurately (within 4 inches). Thanks to his efforts we finally got the water leak fixed and can sleep soundly. I’d give him 10 stars if that were possible.

I made contact and they were out the next day. They located the leak within several hours they were very thorough and professional. The plumbers were able to dig to the leak and it was right where Leak Locator had indicated. I highly recommend Albuquerque Leak Locators.

Do not use this company! Steve and his company incorrectly identified the source of our leak. Our plumber spent hours looking for the leak in the "identified" area, which required tearing out a wall unnecessarily. Steve then lied to try to blame his inability to find the leak, which was obvious after simply removing a face plate in our shower, on us. He is unprofessional and rude. We will be filing a lawsuit.

Used Steve to find a leak at my leak prone home. He was quite remarkable. He uses a proprietary method of purging the whole pipe system with a mixture of pressurized gas. Then utilized hand held detectors to locate the gas escaping from the source. Although he cautioned me this could be a lengthy process, he located the source of the leak in less time than it took to set up his equipment! Drilled a couple of deep holes in the ground with a long auger, and scored on the second try. I then had an irrigation firm locate and repair a faulty T joint the next day. I carefully checked the area around my house, and because the leak was several feet down, simply could see nothing above ground. Couldn’t be happier, and will definitely use Steve again.

Came out exactly when specified and did an admirable job. He checked the whole house, and pinpointed the leak under the slab in a closet. He marked the location, and said within a foot or two, since he only used air and not his gas system. When the plumbers broke through the slab and dug, the leak in the pipe was literally right below the mark, within an inch. Nice Job!

Our home main water line from street was leaking. I used ABQ Leak Locator because of their unique method of finding underground leaks. Other leak locating companies use sound detection to find leaks. Our leak was small and possibly under our driveway or walkway to front door. I didn't feel the leak could be found by sound alone. ABQ Leak Locator found the leak without any problems. These Guys showed up on time and wasted no time trying to locate leak. One of the guys even crawled under my house in very tight space to check under there. It took a lil time but eventually they marked a spot on my out door patio under concrete and flagstone. These guys were spot on within 1ft of location mark. I couldn’t be any happier I would have never found this leak without these guys. I highly recommend these guys if you need any leak found.

I can’t say enough good things about Steve and ABQ Leak Locators! Our water bill had risen for a couple of months in a row so we suspected a leak. I searched the house for any signs of a leak, but I could not see or hear anything. The water meter confirmed that there was a slow steady flow. I called ABQ leak Locator and they were able to send a crew out the next day.
