No call, no show, no response. Had an air conditioner go out at a rental property and thought he was going to go out to fix it like he said he would. He never showed and stopped responding to texts and phone calls, leaving the tenant without ac in 100+ deg weather. Extremely unprofessional

Paul Darler, the owner, personally came and gave us his full attention in solving our problems! He did not rush, yet was very thorough, and paid close attention to every detail & contingency. One of the products we wanted installed was too heavy, and our rental home was not properly structured for it, so we had to forego that plan. Had a lesser experienced or talented pro forced the issue we could have suffered serious damage to our landlord's property!
Paul's knowledge really saved us a potentially big problem!

My AC system stopped working on a day we were expecting temperatures of 107 degrees. I called Air Mechanical and spoke with Paul (the owner). I explained my situation and thankfully he worked me into his busy schedule. He is very knowledgeable and he diagnosed the problem quickly. Unfortunately my system was completely dead. He gave me some options to choose from and I decided on a new system. He was able to complete the job in two days. He and his crew worked until 10:30pm on the second day just so that I would have AC that night. Thanks to his knowledge, responsiveness and work ethic I only had to spend 1 night with no AC. Paul and his team are very professional, kind and respectful. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend him to others.

Great service provided by Paul and his crew. My dated AC unit gave in suddenly in the hottest day. Another company came first and said they will try to fix it but they don’t have the specific refrigerant that I need. I contacted air mechanical because of their good feedback and Paul answered the call promptly and scheduled me same day. You can tell he knows his stuff. Gave me a quote and spend the while day, literally, to fix it and they didn’t leave till they make sure it was working fine. He did say I might need another unit due to the age of my unit but I hope whatever he fixed will last this summer. Thank you Paul for your hard work and honesty. Great customer service.

They are absolutely amazing! I called and within 30 minutes Paul and his nephew showed up. They had my AC back on and running with in 45 minutes! I'm definitely saving his number if I have any other problems! Super fast and good prices and extremely friendly!

2 Year Update: We still love our AC! We had our first "problem" with the AC on Mother's Day. The owner (Paul) came out Monday morning, quickly diagnosed the problem (capacitor - still under warranty - and a bad fuse), and had us up and running again in no time. Still the same great service at a very reasonable price for the service call. Thank you, Air Mechanical!

2 Years Ago: Air Mechanical provided excellent service. They converted my swamp cooler to refrigerated air for a very reasonable price. Paul and his employees were extremely professional, courteous, and did excellent work. I would highly recommend them for all HVAC needs.

I am in las Cruces taking care of a house- the ac went out. Paul and his son came on Sunday afternoon- I was watching what they were doing and they welcomed that. They really know what they are doing- price was fair for what they did. Previous repair was done to the unit and they overlooked maintenance that should have been done- specifically, the unit is 20 years old, I don't know how long it has been in it's current status- but the filter is not mounted inside the unit- it only is sitting in there- when the unit is turned on- it sucks the filter upwards, thereby creating a situation where it functions as if there is no filter at all- the evaporator was caked with dirt- I watched how they removed the dirt and then sprayed with evaporator cleaner. All the other things were done according to electronic readings. The previous repair company left all this dirt in there - the sign of an inexperienced technicians. This unit needed a new condenser fan, additional r 22 freon, and the evaporator cleaned. They were there from about 3 pm and finished around 10 PM - fair priced for what they did and nice people on top of it

My air conditioner went out and my house was 98 degrees. I called air mechanical for help and he came the very next morning and he got everything taken care of. Her replaced all parts quick and now my house is back to normal. I really appreciate his hard work and dedication.

I'm so disappointed in Air Mechanical. Yes, Paul got my AC unit going, but, he left the job unfinished. The panel cover to my unit was removed & never reattached. He left the panel cover on the ground overnight. I had to reattach it in the morning. Then he never replaced my thermostat, which was the main reason for the service call. Then he went up in the attic & left the power box exposed telling me he would return the next day to fix it, to just call him. It was a service call on the 4th of July, he should have never taken the call. Because when he showed up I could smell the alcohol on his breath. I'll never utilize Air Mechanical again!! He could have injured himself, our home or someone else on the road

When our AC went our, Paul came highly recommended and did not disappoint! He squeezed us into his busy schedule and got our entire AC unit replaced - it was 19 years old and the original one from when the house was built! He stayed working with his guys well past 10 pm - even running to the store for a new breaker minutes before they closed - so we could have AC again. Highly recommend him and his team!
