Someone by the name of Gilbert contacted me by text. I told him to call me but he ignored the message. I'd recommend to find a company that really wants the work.

Gilbert has helped us twice now and its been great both times. Today he responded within an hour and fixed multiple problems with our AC and cleaned it all before it actually started to get hot outside. Very grateful and will recommend to others.

My A/C stopped working and Gilbert came to check it the same day when most other places were scheduling a week out. He gave me a thorough and honest assessment of my HVAC situation and was able to begin replacing the whole unit the following day and have it up and running the day after that. He kept me informed, gave me a detailed estimate, and his crew was very professional and worked very hard in extreme temperatures until the job was done. I highly recommend Air Max.

UPDATE:
Today lightning struck or air conditioning unit and I guess the new air conditioning units these days have special technology on them to protect them from lightning strikes. I got a hold of Gilbert and he said that he would have someone from his team at our house within an hour. They were there within 15 minutes and had our air back up and running in less than 3 minutes. Literally the best customer service I have ever had and seen from any HVAC company that I've ever dealt with. Completely support them in every way and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest hard-working HVAC company. Thank you so much Gilbert and your team. You guys are lifesavers.

They aren't finished with the job yet but so far they are literally saving my life. I have a heart condition where I can't be in heat above 85 for more than 30 minutes. They are the only ones who were willing to come the same day I called and get a new unit installed. If it weren't for term, then I would be spending at least 3-4 days in the ICU at the hospital. Will update after job is completed. But so far they have literally saved my life and a trip to the ER/ICU. I hope they understand they they are literally saved a life today. I will forever be indebted to them

Gilbert and his crew are amazing! Talked to him about converting a failing swamp cooler to refrigerated air. At 9:30 PM he sent a reasonable quote, we agreed and the next morning his crew showed up with a new unit and a crane and got to work! Finished up the next day and we couldn't be happier with the whole process. Highly recommend!

Our A/C unit went out over the weekend and Gilbert came by and had the unit fixed and running like new in no time. He also went out of his way to discuss functions of the unit and how to improve the life of the unit. It’s very hard to find service like that these days and we are so grateful. Will definitely be calling for any future needs!

Gilbert is the best! Was here when he said he would be. Got my ac repaired within a day and a half of my initial call. Came to Truth or Consequences and did a very thorough job. I highly recommend him for ur ac needs!

Called Gilbert at 5:30pm. He told me he had 3 other jobs ahead of me and would keep me posted. A little after 10pm he texted and he was at my place about 10 minutes later. Fixed the issue. I called 3 other places, even one that advertised 24 hours service, with no luck. I now have a new contact in my phone!!! Thanks Gilbert.

Moved here last June and first day of cold spell in Las Cruces and our furnace would not stay running, constantly short cycling so house ended up down near 60F in the mornings. Called one HVAC company whose internet ad promised emergency/24 hour service only to be told they did not offer anysuch thing and the first appointment available was Nov/22nd! Then called AirMax and told Gilbert about the problem and he said he could be there same day and he was. Gilbert diagnosed the problem quickly, applied some short term temporary fixes so we had heat that very night and next morning and he traveled to El Paso (I think) next norning to pick up needed parts from Trane (a 2-stage pressure switch and 2-stage gas valve) and came back that afternoon and installed them and now we have a furnace that works!

Gilbert was the best. He was on time, explained everything to me, and had a great price. I called early in the morning and he was able to come by that afternoon to fix our outdoor unit. With being “on-call” the price couldn’t have been better. Extremely helpful, and professional!

Highly recommended this place as a las cruces resident you won’t get a better quality or fair job done, Gilbert and his guys really take pride in their craft. I was highly impressed with the job they did on my A/C and wont use anyone else in town.

Honest and forthright service. My home is 2 years old and the faulty York furnace motor blew out! Gilbert scrambled to find a motor and had one flown in asap! I was enduring 50 degree temperature, cold nights before this Knight in shining armor made my home comfortable again!. Thank you, Air Max!

A.C. Unit started bowing warm air, called another company first and said they were not available to come until two days later. The second call was to Airmax and Gibert (the owner) said that they were swamped with service calls but promised to show up later in the day.
Gilbert texted me at around 7:30 P.M to tell me that they were still busy with a major breakdown. We agreed to meet the following morning.
Next morning he came over at around 9:00 A.M. and after troubleshooting the unit he explained what options I had as far as repairing or replacing the old unit.
We agreed that it was time to replace the 23-year-old system, he gave me a verbal estimate and later he confirmed the price and availability.
He said they would take care of it in 2 days. Two days later his crew was here, and they tackled the removal and installation of the system and did not leave until they finished around 7:30 P.M.
The system works great, the installation was extremely professional, and the closing price was what we agreed upon.

If you are looking for cheap work do not call Gilbert Olvera and his crew, but if you want quality work at a fair price do not look around. Gilbert and his crew will deliver what they promised.

On Sunday morning at 1100, the air conditioning in my home stopped working. With an infant and small child, I needed to get my AC back up fast. I called countless AC Repair companies and of those that picked up, all were booked for the day, and it didn't look like I could get anyone out until Monday night or later. I was losing hope and my home was getting warmer. Just then, Gilbert, from Air Max, called me saying he could make it out that day. Upon arrival, he quickly diagnosed the issues and made repairs. Within 30 minutes, my AC was back on and cooling down my house. Thanks to Gilbert's expertise and responsiveness, my house has AC again!

Gilbert and his team did a terrific job for us. Very professional, very clean and super informative. We called them on a Thursday afternoon and a brand new heating/air conditioning unit was up and running by Friday midday. We are very grateful for all their hardwork.
