Unfortunately, we had such a terrible experience with We Can Do It recently. We had used their service many many years ago and they were OUTSTANDING. Currently, we tried 3 different cleaners and had a bad experience - not only did they not clean well (the beds looked like they were made by a child, they would not move shoes off the floor to clean an entryway, they left cleaning supplies around our home and didn’t put things away, etc.), but they complained about the work despite my describing my home to every last detail when I booked. The person scheduling was unhelpful and the cleaners were not willing to work with me on anything. What was worse is that our home is super neat and tidy as I am a neat freak, so while it’s large, there is not major ‘heavy lifting’ to do. Would never book them again.

cannot get ahold of this company. Like other recent review said, I’ve used their webform, called, left voicemails, and emailed. No response, assuming they are permanently closed.

Although this company came highly recommended, your experience depends on the person the company assigns to you. Although Maricela cleaned my apartment well, I am sorry to say that she is completely unreliable. She canceled 4 times for two appointments.
She canceled our second appointment twice. Once, the night before she was supposed to come because she said she was coughing. The second time, she canceled the day before she was supposed to come because her children were sick.
She also canceled our third appointment twice. She canceled 4 days before the appointment. She said she had forgotten she already had an appointment. We rescheduled. On the morning of the rescheduled appointment, she canceled one hour before the appointment because her son was sick.
Considering the excellent ratings of this service, I assume the women at this service are probably very reliable. Unfortunately, Maricela is not and I recommend that you do not accept her if you are a new customer.

Great communication through the phone call. Gabriela did a great job cleaning my apartment. She was striving for perfection. She was going through places where I've never thought about. I would definitely have her back for future services. Beyond my expectation, highly highly recommend.

I’ve tried multiple companies (angi / thumbtack). This is the best cleaning company, by far. In terms of price, in depth cleaning, and quality personnel: it does not get better than this in bk.

They cleaned my 1 bedroom apt so deeply for $150… I didn’t think it could ever be this clean in here. Tania was so detail oriented and I can guarantee this will be the only service I use going forward. Just WOW.

Best cleaning experience ever! Doris is our cleaner (2bed2bath dog friendly condo in downtown Brooklyn). Easy to make an appointment, and accurate pricing with no surprise addons. Because the fee is flat and not hourly, the cleaning is thorough and detailed. She takes baskets/decor out to completely dust and clean under, she soaks kitchen trays and even brings all her own supplies and vacuum! Doris is punctual and sweet and so hard working. I am a repeat customer and recommend to all!

My experience with Si Se Puede has overall been really satisfying. After the cleaning, my husband and I found ourselves a bit disappointed with the job done and, when we communicated that over email to the cooperative, they were ready to come back to our apartment the same day (!) to inspect the areas we were not happy with and finish the job if needed. They saw that there were some spots that were not cleaned properly and the cleaner stayed to finish the job. Truly a great service and a great environment!!

It was fairly easy to book, and I appreciate the mission of this company. However, my cleaners were here for 4 hours cleaning an empty apartment, and I didn’t notice much of a difference in the before and after. I paid for an oven and fridge interior clean, but the oven door, freezer, and microwave were not cleaned at all. It was also difficult to confirm my cleaning time and payment method with my individual cleaner. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would use this service again.

I could not be more impressed with the quality of service from Si Se Puede. Scheduling was incredibly easy and efficient - I communicated with their team over email and was matched with a co-op member, Lucia. Lucia arrived right on time and was friendly, professional, and made me very comfortable having her in my home. i would consider myself very particular about the quality of cleaning and I was beyond impressed with Lucia's work! She dusted every surface in our apartment, even around wine bottles and small decorative items. Everything was sparkling! I cannot recommend this service enough - I will definitely be a repeat customer!

2 stars because I can't hate them for their cleaning service but the first touch point of any service is communication (and I dislike it)! I've called them 3 separate times, different days and hours. Left a voice message and they never have picked up. It's a shame because I've heard decent reviews but like someone else mentioned, it's hard to get in touch with someone. Unfortunately will pass on their service due to this.

Life changing. My cleaner arrived exactly on time and worked harder than I ever expected. She was professional and extremely thorough. Scheduling, communication and payment were seamless. My house looked and smelled fabulously fresh. I have used other services before and this surpassed every other experience. Maybe I just got lucky but my guess is every one of their team members are just as wonderful. I have already scheduled my next visit.

I've worked with We Can Do it Women's Cooperat a few times, and after the last cleaning I had a very bad experience with this company. Whilst their cleaning staff work very hard to clean your apartment and do a great job, the staff at the head office and director of the company were extremely rude and hostile, conducting themselves in an unprofessional manner without returning emails or taking hone calls. I feel really bad for the professional cleaners they hire, as their staff should be treated better and seek employment at other firms. Since cutting my ties and being disrespected by this company, I now work with another cleaning organization in Brooklyn that are stellar and amazing, as I have never looked back!

We had si se puede come into our 2 BR 2.5 bath apartment to do a deep clean ahead of the arrival of our first child. We didn’t really know what to expect, and we were truly blown away. For a good price (especially compared to any other company in NYC) two women came in and cleaned our apartment to the deepest nooks and crannies I didn’t even know existed. The women were so sweet, Catalina and Margarita, and they worked from 9 am (on time arrival) until nearly 5 pm. We are hoping to continue using them as regular cleaners moving forward. Cannot recommend this service enough, it’s exceptional quality and a great cause to support.

Elena is absolutely fabulous. She showed up on time (down to the minute) with her own cleaning supplies and spent the entire day making my apartment sparkle. It has never been this clean and I am beyond impressed. I was recommended Si Se Puede’s services via word of mouth and I am SO glad I decided to use them. I will be booking Elena again next time.

I booked a move out clean weeks in advance, explicitly sharing that the date was not flexible because it was taking place right after the movers came in and before the landlord did a walkthrough. At 4pm the night before I received an email that they were cancelling my appointment because of member trainings and offering a reschedule later in the week. They gave me no notice, cancelling at the end of business day when the appointment was for 11am. I emailed back twice, once asking if they could reschedule to later that same day, and a second time cancelling and expressing my disappointment in what happened. They didn’t respond to either message which I found even more unprofessional. I don’t like writing bad reviews of small businesses but if anyone needs reliable service on a specific date, look elsewhere.

The co-op takes a couple days to get back to you after contacting them through their website, but after the initial quote, they are very transparent and responsive through email.

Gabriela was our cleaner and she is fantastic. Arrived on time and was so kind, respectable, and thoughtful. I work from home, and went to the lobby to work for a couple of hours at the beginning of the clean. I came back upstairs and she had cleaned the office space first so I could continue working without disruptions.

Gabriela was there from 9AM and left after 4PM, working to clean the apartment so thoroughly. It was an amazing deep clean: it smelled and looking fantastic after. The pricing is reasonable given it’s NYC. Definitely going to continue using this co-op and Gabriela if she is available. Please support this co-op and business!

I tried to book this company a month in advance for a post-renovation cleaning. After submitting a request on their website with no response, I called and was told someone would come to assess my space, but no one ever did. When I followed up, I learned they didn’t have a team available for me and that it was unlikely anyone would come. They claimed to look forward to working with me in the future, but I don’t think so.

This is not a partisan viewpoint. Their website does not merit the SEO rank it is getting. Many businesses painstakingly spend time following the rules to achieve their unbiased organic ranking. This one magically floated to the top of many neighborhood searches — a position unearned. Shame on the search engines.

We hired another company to repeat the work completely, complete waste of money.

Great service. Cleaned the kitchen very well. Would use them again without hesitation.

The team of two did a great job deep cleaning my sisters bathroom and kitchen. I strongly recommend them.
