5 stars for Adam who performed the service. He communicated effectively and gave me a thorough run down of what he’d be doing. He had a pleasant demeanor and was personable. The service was efficient and I can definitely see the difference in my couch and headboard.

However, I can’t say I would recommend the company based on how unclear the pricing is. When I initially reached out I was told $79 for the headboard + $220 for the L shaped 3 seater couch. After that price was stated, the company rep said they would be happy to apply a 10% discount. Fast forward to the end of my service when it’s time to pay, I mention I received an email offering 20% off. Adam asked someone about it and explained he wasn’t the decision maker in pricing which I understood. I paid the $299 and went back to my original message communicating that I felt misled and the pricing is unclear. I was told that the price I was given already included a 20% discount. I said the pricing is not clear and the wording used when I received the price should have been “this price includes a 20% discount.” The lack of accountability and lack of acknowledgment of my concern left a sour taste in my mouth and I won’t be using this company again. I hope Adam is able to find a company that is transparent in their pricing because if they treat their clients this way I’m concerned for how they treat their team. The price was reasonable, my issue was the lack of clarity in how it was communicated and quoting a price that supposedly includes a discount without communicating that. If you choose to use them make sure you receive the final price beforehand and clarify if it’s inclusive of any promotions.

NYC Steamers cleaned a Persian rug and a couch in our apartment, and we are so happy with the result- the two look refreshed and bright again. Our rug was very dirty, and Maxim worked on it until it was fully clean, which took a few passes. They were easy to get into contact with, honest, and punctual. Will for sure use again.

Adam at nyc steam cleaners did an amazing job cleaning my 3 seater crate and barrel couch (recently purchased from a pet owner on fb marketplace). He was able restore the couch and my Herman Miller desk chair to like new status. Worth the price! Excellent service and attention to detail! Highly reccomend!

Very pleased. Easy to book and get an appointment, reasonably priced, on-time arrival, and only took an hour for a couch. The results exceeded my expectations. I was starting to regret buying an ivory couch, but it cleaned up great thanks to NYC Steamers. I’ll definitely use their services again, next time for carpet. Highly recommend!

Ali showed up this morning on time with great communication. It was raining and he was prepared with booties for his shoes. He worked extremely hard on on our couch to get the dirt out. He went over the couch twice with his steamer and it helped a lot. I appreciate his hard work and attention to detail. Keep in mind that the couch takes 5 hours to dry!! Excellent service ! And reasonable pricing.

Extremely happy with our steam technician, Al! He was friendly, communicative and efficient. Very open to answering questions about other cleaning methods like spot treatments.

We had a love seat and arm chair that took him about 35-45 minutes in total. After they were steamed and dried, we were so pleased with the difference! These were two vintage pieces, 30 years old and Al breathed new life into them.

I just had my couch professionally cleaned by NYC Steamers, and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. My technician, En, was absolutely fantastic.

From the moment he arrived, he was professional, courteous, and incredibly thorough. He took his time inspecting the couch and paid close attention to every detail. I have a dog, so there were several stains I honestly thought were permanent, but En was able to locate them all and completely remove them. I am genuinely amazed at how clean my couch looks now that he was finished.

What stood out the most was the level of care he put into his work. He didn’t rush the job and made sure everything was done properly. It’s rare these days to see someone take that much pride in their work, and it really showed in the final result.

This was, without a doubt, the best couch cleaning I’ve ever had. My couch looks and smells incredible. I will absolutely be using NYC Steamers again and will be recommending them to friends and family.

I recently got sectional Sofia and dinning rooms chairs cleaned by En, he was great! Embarrassingly my sofa was disgusting due to my kids always spilling something on it. My husband wanted to throw out the sofa because of the stained condition they were in but I knew NYC steamers could get them cleaned as this is the second time I get their service. I loved the results I saw immediately after En was done, the sofa and the dining room chairs were much better. Once dried I did see a stain left in one of the sofa sectionals but compared to how it was I’m still satisfied. Their prices are reasonable, they are responsive and so easy to book the services.

I was quoted around 250 on the phone, and told it could possibly be more depending on condition. My furniture before had minimal ware. I was told coming through the door it was 450 plus tax. I didn’t know that it would be more than double. Left with a bill of 514 plus tax. Will say this is a classic bait and switch. Wouldn’t recommend this service. Transparency in the future would help this company
