Painted my little sisters single bedroom, about to be born soon we needed it painted swiftly. Handy-man was very professional and got the job done within the day and got a great deal for a second job done in the living room!

When I need another paint job done for the frame of my house I won’t be needing another company. These are the guys. Always pick up my phone call. Always treat me friendly. And they give good price. 100% they have my business forever!

Price is good for plumbing service. Leak repair service was faster than 911 in my neighborhood. Technician broke it down easily and did an awesome job. Recommending for a good plumbing company!

Great service. I called David and he came within the hour to check what tv mount I will need.
He then offered me to go by himself to the Home Depot to purchase the TV mount as part of his service.

I rarely write reviews but uhm… I had such a positive experience with Boerum Hill Handyman that I felt compelled to share. From start to finish, the service was exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. I had a persistent leak in my basement that had been giving me trouble for quite some time. I had tried to get it fixed before by other contractors, but no one seemed to be able to diagnose the problem properly or provide a lasting solution. They scheduled a visit quickly and showed up exactly when they said they would, which is not always the case with home repair services. The handyman who came to assess the situation was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also patient and thorough. Twice they failed to show up for an appointment to estimate (in Park Slope). Their “office” (of Hispanic ladies) was always certain to call to confirm (once, 4 times in one day) but “Alex the Painter” simply does not regard those commitments as anything he needs to honor. He seems to think he can show up 3 hours early or 3 hours late and the potential customer just sits around all day waiting for him. It would have been acceptable had he been 15, 30, even 45 minutes late on either occasion but he could not even do that, wasting everybody’s time and effort.

If punctuality, reliability or dependability is a requirement for your project, avoid Boerum Hill Handyman like the plague. The only reason I don’t give them 1-star is they did not take my money and run.

Flat Rate Junk Removal helped me after a move, and I was very happy with the service. There were leftover items that didn’t fit in the truck, old shelves, bags of junk, and a few heavy pieces I couldn’t carry by myself.
