SCAM COMPANY

Last year my roommate sent our living room rug to ABC cleaners for a cleaning the price quoted was almost the same as buying a new rug but we elected to do a cleaning for sustainability reasons. We were quoted a reasonable 2 week turnaround however it took them over a month to get us our rug back after calling multiple times and being called impatient and difficult just for asking where rug was then claiming it was exceptionally dirty and required multiple cleanings.

Once our rug was delivered it looked visibly filthy (far worse then when we sent it in) after opening the plastic wrapping we were hit with a VERY strong chemical odor that reminded me of wood stain. After partially rolling it out we saw that not only was the rug heavily stained in a orange and brown color it was sticky and had a rough feeling. I strongly believe that our rug was damaged while in their care (I seriously think they spilled actual wood stain on the rug). Not only did they refuse to give us our money back but they wouldn't even come back and try to fix the damage they caused.

In what can only be described as extreme irony I see they have changed their location (used to be in south Brooklyn I believe) to a brownstone in our neighborhood! I walk by this home all the time and can certify this is not their address nor is there any business operating out of the house, something you can't verify since they conveniently had the street view of this house blurred on google.

Want to be sure that this company is scam? Come see a random historic brownstone devoid of a commercial tenant for yourself and be sure to say hi!

There is only one ABC rug cleaner in Brooklyn when you do a google maps search and your website is identical to when we first dealt with you.

Quoted me $240 on the phone and $770 in person
