Jermaine explained what was really going on and gave me a bunch of helpful options — like installing a backflow valve and possibly adding a dry well, and other ways to prevent water from coming up through the bathroom during storms.
I really appreciated how honest and knowledgeable he was. No pressure to buy anything, just solid advice and clear explanations. It’s rare to find a company this straightforward. I’d definitely recommend the company if you’re dealing with any kind of flooding or drainage problem!

Wednesday February 4th, one of the coldest days of the recent cold spell. The boiler sprung a leak. JL plumbing visited my house and accessed the situation. He promised that they would provide heat the next day and they did exactly that. A new boiler was installed, rusted pipes were replaced and a treatment was added to remove sediment that had built up. I’m very satisfied with the work that was done.

This place is amazing. I had no heat for a long time I was going through a program and had to wait a while. When I explained to this place that I was going through a program and I needed them to come and check my furnace to get a price on it they came quickly and submitted a proposal for the program. As soon as the program approved and sent the company an authorization Jermaine who works at this company called me and said he is coming over to help me get some heat today. He wasn’t going to let me go one day longer without heat. He is amazing. I have heat now I am so grateful to this company and Jermaine. Everybody there was so considerate and wanted to help me. If I could give 20 stars for this place I would. There compassion and understanding is amazing. I would recommend this place if you ever have plumbing issues.

Total nightmare. This guy doesn't just do bad work; he’s actively deceptive. He took my money, left the job half-finished, and then had the nerve to tell me to hide from the Department of Buildings inspectors so they wouldn't see his violations. I actually had to sue him to get my money back. Even after losing in court, he tried to scam me by sending an empty envelope as 'payment.' I only got my money after involving the BBB. He is a dishonest operator who will ghost you the moment things get complicated. Do not hire

If you want to pay for half-finished pipes and a court date, this is your guy. This business is a total fraud. They took my money, did a hack job that didn't meet code, and then had the audacity to tell me to hide from the inspectors so they wouldn't see the mess.

I had to take them to court just to see a dime of my money back. Even after a judge ruled against them, they tried one last scam: mailing me an empty envelope and claiming it was the 'payment' check. They only paid up after a BBB complaint and constant pressure. This isn't just a bad plumber; it's a criminal enterprise. Save yourself the headache and find a real professional who isn't afraid to open the door for the Department of Buildings.

I went with another plumber because of the negative reviews and that was a mistake! I ended up needing the whole thing redone and Aurora was there to fix it. I should’ve went with them first. I felt very taken care of.

This plumber never finished filing his job even though he charged for it. I had to pay a different plumber to finish his work. He advised me not to open the door to the department of building when they wanted to inspect. I took him to Court, he lost the case but sent an empty envelope as payment. I complained to the Better Business Bureau. Weeks later he sent payment.

They were great. I needed a Master Plumber for a Local law 152 inspection and the Master Plumber came and did the inspection accordingly. The price was good. I'm just waiting to receive the paper work to file with DOB. Thanks Aurora Plumbing.

Our old plumbing service had to make a referral to another plumber at the time we needed to replace our boiler many years ago, the referral was to Arora.

It was the dead of winter I remember and the work got done with no problems. To our surprise the replacement boiler was smaller and more efficient than the one we had in the past. Very good experience with the owner and crew. Looking to do follow up business this winter.

A very patient professional team who addressed my boiler issues effectively and with the attention it needed - their prices reflect the quality of their work of course, which is because they guarantee their work. They even proactively checked in on me BEFORE billing me for a second installment to ensure I was satisfied with them resolving our delayed ignition issue.

Carlo and Zodi helped the block association I manage a building at in Brooklyn file on time with Local Law 152. Thanks Carlo and Zodi! Highly recommended. They are very professional to the block association, are punctual, and when the tenant from my building could not schedule with the notice, Carlo promptly answered my call and notified me to schedule with him when the tenant's schedule was convenient. So said, so done. I followed up with the tenant, who had a very tight schedule for Monday and Tuesdays 11am-1pm on both days, and Carlo made it work. Once again, thank you very much for the prompt service!

I lost my boiler with outdoor temperature lingering in the 20s and my anxiety shot up to 100, considering I didn't know who to call, we're in a pandemic and didn't know if I would receive prompt and reliable service.
