They were extremely responsive in my time of need. The sewer was completely plugged and they were able to find a technician to come out the same day! The technician was professional, personable, and worked very, very hard to solve th problem. The extent of the issue was beyond what he could solve alone, but it was not for lack of effort. Additional help was called and the issue has since been resolved. The tech took great care in making sure he did not mess up our new floors. From the first call to the end result, McAllister was top notch! I would highly recommend them for plumbing work.

On October 12, 2022 I was away from my home from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm. When I got home I heard water running. The pipe under my sink burst and flooded my bathroom, hallway and basement. I called McAllister as I know they have an emergency number. A very nice gentleman was at my home within the hour. He fixed the pipe and cleaned up all the water. He was at my home until after 2:00 am cleaning up water. I was so grateful to that man He was very professional and did a great job. Thank you so much!!!

They installed a mini split system on my house and mounted the central unit directly to the home and it shakes the wall so badly that I cannot hang pictures on that whole side of my house because it knocks them off. It is also so loud that when it kicks on you cannot hear over it and need to leave the room to have a conversation. Not ideal since it's in the main living room. Not to mention it does not heat/cool to the temperature you set it at. Overall the unit is complete garbage that's given me nothing but problems.

So I tried to work with McCalister to get this thing working to no avail. So on the last visit they came out and swapped the refrigerant at a cost of $1100 (Since then I've done a lot of research and talked to many companies that specialize in these systems, everyone said it made no sense for them to do that unless psi was reading differently than manufacturer specs or a leak was detected. Psi was fine and no leaks were detected.)The secretary was extremely rude and basically scolding me over the phone that I needed to pay immediately before the tech left my house. I refused because of how she was speaking to me and also because I wanted to make sure their solution actually worked first(it didn't.)

I've tried calling and leaving messages on three occasions and have not received a call back. But I did receive a letter from an attorney on their behalf to try to collect funds. What a joke of a company. First time anyone has tried to drag me to court for anything. I just want my unit working for God's sake. They took a shot in the dark without doing their due diligence to diagnose the unit beforehand and handed me the bill after that shot failed miserably.

The only good thing I can say for them is the owner came out once because they didn't have enough techs at the time and he really was trying to be helpful.

Maybe good with traditional heating and cooling things. But I do believe they have a lack of understanding of mini split systems.

Ryan who coordinated and Ryan & Jeff who installed my boiler did an amazing job from start to finish. Professionalism and attention to detail were top notch. They were respectful of my home, and property and did an amazing job cleaning up after themselves. Best heating company I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing place highly highly recommend they won't rip you off!! Our hot water tank went so we got a quote from Reimer for a busted hot water tank nothing fancy they quoted me out at 5k then tried to gaslight me that it was a good price. Absolutely not. I Called mccallister they came looked at the same thing, and charged me 1400 all in for the part and service. Their handy man was quick efficient, super nice, and didn't try to rip us off. We will be customers for life ! They also came back out when our furnace valve broke and gave the same impeccable service. Cannot recommend them enough !!

We have used McAllister for both large and small projects for the past year and we have been extremely satisfied with their work. They have replaced both our water heaters, installed a new AC unit and some smaller plumbing issues. They are very friendly to work with, always manage to schedule us promptly and do excellent work. I also think they do not try to "up sell" us at all and genuinely try to help us make the right choice for our house. Nothing but GREAT things to say!

No one ever wants to have to call the plumber but I appreciate their service.

We have used McAllister for years. They have always been available at the drop of a hat when we have had emergencies. Their technicians are extremely knowledgeable and prepared for anything. Their office staff is kind, efficient and always a pleasure to talk to! Their pricing is in line with industry standards and they have NEVER tried to sell us something we did not need. We will never go anywhere else.

Simply the best! We have used McAillister since we moved to Lakeview six years ago and they have always been professional, responsive and accommodating. Quality costs, but you get what you pay for. And it's worth it to us when at 8pm on a Friday night a professional with come out and do their best to get our furnace up and running.

When our 23 year old furnace was not worth repairing they had a team hear the next day on a Saturday morning to install the new furnace so family who had come from out of town could have heat. Ryan as well as the owner dealt with us to make sure our needs were met. Thank you McAillister Team!

We called about our heat going out, they sent a tech out within a half hour. Unfortunately for us the we needed a whole new furnace. They were able to have a team out the next day to install the system! The techs were all very polite and efficient! They offer many payment options which was nice seeing as this was an emergency and we didn't quite have the money on hand. Highly recommend using this company!

For a furnace malfunction, a previous company charged me for 3 expensive service calls ,and never fixed the problem!
The McAllister company sent Matt, who fixed the problem in less than an hour! So grateful for his expertise! On 11/21/24 McAllisters staff came out for a furnace tune up and Chris did a great job. When it was time to pay I was told it would be electronically sent to my email. There was a rebate from National Fuel which asked questions and a paper receipt was necessary. I called to ask for one and was told, they usually charge extra for a paper receipt, however they would send me one. If you are giving a rebate form then provide a paper receipt!
Considering consumers are charged for every minute of service! Also, not all seniors use email.

McAllister just recently installed all new heating and cooling systems in our home and rental property. From the first interaction with the sales rep to the men that did the installation everyone was professional, kind and very easy to work with. We have had many updates and things done to our home recently and I never felt more comfortable with a company and having strangers in my home. My husband can also be very particular about others doing work in our home and he had zero complaints! Looking forward to working with them in the future!

McAllister has done work for us multiple times and we always receive excellent service. We have an old gas boiler heating system and had a pipe burst. Needless to say we were anxious about it. Jeff came out and diagnosed and fixed the problem on very short notice.

I woke up with no heat and called McAllister and they answered in one ring! The receptionist was very friendly and had someone out within a half hour! The technician, Chris, was super helpful, friendly and kind. He was able to get the part I needed within a few hours and came back and fixed our issue the same day. I even got a follow up call a few days later to check in. I was impressed and would recommend them for promptness, a fair price, and good work.

We called at 7:30 pm on Monday evening because we had no heat. We received a call back within five minutes and the owner was at our home in under an hour. He fixed our furnace. (Unknowingly, we had accidentally turned it off.) NO CHARGE! We have used Keiffer for over 20 years and will continue to do so. They are competent and professional,

We have used Keifier for our plumbing needs for at least 15 years now. They are our go to and only company we use and trust. When we have a emergency they have been there for us in a acceptable time. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a need or a different plumbing service.
