David was wonderful. Super professional and found our issue right away

Quite possibly the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. It started off fine, they came as a recc from whirlpool for my washer and advised what part is needed. Came back two weeks later (due to part lead time) and installed. Next day my washer still doesn’t work when I use it. They say “it has to be the control panel; all that’s left that makes sense” okay. We wait a week for the part and magically that doesn’t work! Now we need another part and it’s a 2.5 week time frame until they can come back (tech says it’s availability, office says part stock). The told me it was a part lead time the second time yet the box the part came in (watched him open it) says 7/25/21 so lies. My washer is now completely out of commission (worked but struggled before) due to their last repair since they left it completely taken apart (screws everywhere, a pan? On the floor, dirty paper towels and the control panel barely attached). I now have to pay to have my laundry done and probably just need a new washer at this point. AVOID AVOID AVOID. They are either breaking more parts to charge me more labor or they’re just that incompetent that they can’t figure out what is actually wrong.

Wind Service came to fix my washing machine through Maytag. The entire process through them was AA++. When setting up appointments, people were courteous and polite. The tech that fixed the issue, named Andrew, was on time, polite, and explained the issue thoroughly. He had to come back the following week for an ordered part. He fixed the issue in no time. It was a pleasure dealing with them. Would definitely recommend them.

Came out to repair washer for grinding noise last minute of the cycle. I have detailed examples of when it happens and took videos and said that it sometimes won’t do it if I reset the washer but that only lasts a wash or two. After waiting a week the tech said well I don’t have time to sit through a cycle (even the 20 min drain and spin), next time have it ready (they gave a 3 hour window with no notice to get it ready nor did they mention anything when we set up the appointment), and since it may not happen he cancelled the appointment and left. He did this as a “favor to me” to save $119 for the service call. I wanted him to look at the washer and he said he would not know where to begin and he was not sure about the problem. I need to call back and I guess wait another week or so when it happens “more consistently” even though it happens almost every time.
I waited a week and stayed home all morning to be told not worth their time. -
Ignore my golf game name: “tony stark”. I don’t know how to switch profiles. What I do know is that I DID just have Dave from Wind Service Inc., in my home repairing a kitchen aid dishwasher.
He was outstanding! Courteous and kind, an absolute pleasure to have in our home. Furthermore he was early 👍, extremely knowledgeable 👍, and left me quite confident that the issue was resolved. Thank you again Dave! I just might break something else to have you over again! Stay well.
(Yeah, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company, in case I was too subtle). -
We had our kitchen remodeled over 4½ years ago using Kitchen Aid appliances, and several needed repairs were conducted over that timeframe using Wind Service. They’re a good and responsive company and in all cases successfully repaired our appliances. Octavio is one of their best technicians who we have had in the past, and he was able to get our refrigerator up and running cool again after a more recent diagnoses refrigerant leak problem that needed prompt attention. He was both professional and knowledgeable while explaining exactly what happened, and has always planned well for a follow-up visit to order and install replacement parts when needed at our convenience. Any appliance failure is an unplanned experience, but thankfully we have been fortunate to have gotten prompt assistance through Wind Service and their quality technicians like Octavio.

David from Wind Service came to the house 3 days after my call, diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, returned, and installed the parts... our dishwasher was fixed within a week. He was very courteous and pleasant. I wish we had called Wind Service first!

This company is by far the most unprofessional company I’ve ever had to deal with. Unfortunately I’m stuck with them due to the warranty. My refrigerator has been broken since 9/2020 and it’s now 12/2020. There’s a serious problem with them, they have spoke so rudely to me so many times. There’s no compassion that I don’t have a working refrigerator for so long. The just seem incompetent. I would advise you to keep looking for a much better company. They have not shown up for multiple appointments. Today we had an appointment. I waited. They called me saying the service guy was at the door. I ran outside and he was nowhere to be found. I called them back right away and of course the women was rude to me as she always is. She kept telling me they left me a message that I wasn’t there. I was for sure there waiting as I have been for months . All I ask is for them to just fix my refrigerator. Must have been nice for them to have a refrigerator for thanksgiving.

- the only thing "WIND" service provided was watching my time and money blowing away in the WIND.
took 2 weeks to get an appointment ...washer machine was not draining, repair man came said 2 weeks to order part - came back in 2 weeks - when he did repair my washer - He did put a giant scratch on the top of my dryer with his receipt note book. AND than less than 6 months later - same issue with washer. Called about the issue - not a care in the world from customer service- another 2 weeks for an appointment - fortunatley I found another service provider. Was not wasting another month of my life and another paycheck with this company. -
Repairman was incredibly unhelpful. Did not give us a chance to discuss the issue with him and figure out a plan, he basically told is he didn’t want to wait and left. Now we need to find another company. Complete waste of time. Do not waste your time.
Response to owner:
I understand that you would not provide a free service and that is not what I expected. But when I was trying to find a solution to the problem your employee was incredibly rude and impatient. If he had given me 5 minutes to call Jenn air and sort it out, or even just to process what was happening, I might have even decided to pay upfront. But he was impatient, disrespectful, rude, and clearly just wanted to leave and didn't want to work today. Instead of building a relationship where we could have used you in the future, now I know when to schedule repairs to specifically insist that it is not with your company. -
**Do not use this company.** we purchased a warranty on a KitchenAide refrigerator and the warranty company uses Wind Service as their service provider. I never wrote reviews but we are on 7 months without an operating refrigerator. Multiple no-show appointments were set without even receiving a phone call on cancellation. The first repair took almost 4 months waiting on parts and the same problem exists. Finally a technician came and advised us the problem cannot be remedied. The warranty company would need to be advised the problem can’t be fixed by the service company. The service company Supervisor states they cannot advise this. That KitchenAide would have to determine this. What?!!!! They suggest calling the warranty company and having them send a different service company. It’s endless passing the buck and not one person caring about the customer. Do NOT use this company.

They took my microwave to fix 5weeks ago. The technician said 7-10 days. I called 2 weeks after he left, the representative said she will call back about the status, and she never did. A month after, I tried to call again, and she said the same answer, and never call me back. It has been 5 weeks now, and I call again. A man said they got the part and told me to choose the delivery date which was 10 days later. I was upset, and asked why you need more than 6 weeks to fix and not giving me reasonable explanation. And he hung up on me without the answers. This was the worst service I ever got entire my life till now!!! I called 3 times during the 5 weeks of waiting. I don't think I was impatient or rude. They were so rude and not doing their job.

This company is just the WORST! I had no choice but to use them since it was through whirlpool guarantee. They went to my house 5 times to fix my washer machine, they never stayed more than 10min, I kept telling them that they needed to see a full cycle to really understand what was the problem; they told me it was unrealistic of my to ask them to stay that long. Whirlpool told me that the technician had to say that my washer couldn’t be repaired in order to get a replacement, well the company told me they will never say that and that they were gonna keep coming to my house as many times as they needed until the machine was fixed. Their excuses of why my machine wasn’t working went from: “your English in not good enough so the technician doesn’t understand the problem” to “this machine is not really heavy load even tho whirlpool says that” to “you don’t know how to properly do laundry” but what really made me realize this company doesn’t even try is that the technician told me that I should sell my washer on marketplace and get a new one!!!!!! at the end the machine never got fixed and I had to buy a new one … terrible service, the WORST!

Came to fix refrigerator lights. They called multiple times to make sure they have correct parts. Came on time, did the job perfectly and left everything clean. Very customer oriented service and correct charges. Will be looking forward to using them in future.

My 2 year old KitchenAid, low profile, above the range Microwave/Hood combo was rendered unusable, due to the "Start" button failing. I called KitchenAid, and spoke to a representative. She checked my warranty, and then set up an appointment with Wind Factory. Two days later, the technician, Caesar, arrived to access the situation. He said I'd need a whole new control panel unit, and he called Wind Factory to order it. He spoke with his supervisor about the warranty, and they both looked up the details. At that point, I was told that it would cost me nearly $400, because my warranty had expired! However, the paperwork that came with the microwave indicated, in huge lettering, that it came with a 5 year warranty. This was a conundrum. Caesar suggested that I call KitchenAid to sort it out, gave me advice, and advised that I get back to Wind Factory with how to proceed. I gave him a generous tip, which he tried to refuse, because he "didn't do anything." However, I felt he deserved it for his efforts. I then called KitchenAid, and spoke with a representative (it sounded like the same woman I had previously spoken to, and who had set up the "warranty service" with Wind Factory). She then told me that her supervisor said that my warranty booklet's wording was a "typo," that it's "really supposed to be a one year warranty," and there was "nothing they could do for me." So, I asked for the corporate phone number. After speaking with an Executive Assistant at KitchenAid Corporate, I was patched through to an executive. I explained the situation, again, and after a discussion about misrepresentation and fraud, he agreed to a "one time, courtesy" warranty repair. He then set up another appointment with Wind Factory, for the following week. No one called me, the day of the scheduled appointment. So, I called them. A congenial woman apologized for not reaching out, and told me the part was on order, and that they'd call when it came in. So, the appointment was canceled. Another week went by. I called again, just in case I slipped through the cracks, and was curtly told by the gentleman that answered that they'd call when it came in. Another week went by, and yes, I tried again. I had a freezer filled with microwave specific meals, and I couldn't fit anything new in it. The same gentleman matter of factly said they'd call when it came in. I asked how long that might be, and he said he had no idea and that they were awaiting word from KitchenAid. So, I again called the executive from KitchenAid. He was unaware that the part had not been sent, or that the microwave had not been fixed, and so he looked into it. He advised that Wind Factory had been in contact, and that they had requested KitchenAid's Expediting Department source the part as quickly as possible. I was happy to hear that. However, I was then informed, by the exec, that it could possibly take another month or more! What? The exec said he'd see what he could do. I then waited patiently for word from Wind Factory. A week and a half later, the nice woman called to say the part had shipped, and set up an appointment for today! Caesar arrived promptly, said that it was entirely covered by warranty, and installed the new panel! He showed me what went wrong with the original part, and sounded very sympathetic to what his customers are experiencing. What a friendly, forthcoming, respectful, honest tech! I'm so happy he had returned to finish the job. So, all in all, I was delighted with the technician, Caesar, appreciative of the advice, somewhat disappointed in the lack of communication from the office, unhappy with KitchenAid, angry about the warranty (or lack thereof), and thankful it's finally fixed.

HORRIBLE!!!! Tech named Giordano came to my house almost an hour after the expected service window and did not come with the part to repair dishwasher. Said would have to reschedule for the following week. Comes back following week, refuses to do work after I say I don’t have beach towel to clean up mess. Proceeds to walk out of my house.customer service then tells me to find another company to do job. Never experienced this level of unprofessionalism in my life. Tech clearly has personal issues. Do no use this company!!!!!

Wind service does not have professional technicians working for them. They only have 1 technician that comes out to my area of Long Island. His name is Octavio A. He has come several times and it’s always him who comes since they have no one else. He never fixes the issue and always has to come back. The latest was our dishwasher. He came back last week and left in 5 minutes saying it was fixed. Didn’t do anything to it and therefore it was not fixed. We had to wait close to 2 weeks for him to come back again. This time he came in with an attitude and walked out on us when we said that he needs to wait to see if it actually works. These kinds of technicians should not be working in these types of fields and should be fired because it brings down the name of the company.

Wonderful technicians. They get the job done. Highly recommend.

Our serviceman Paul was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly assessed what was wrong, place the order for the new part and scheduled a return date within a week to complete my repair. Very nice gentleman, will be glad to have him back to finish up.

Our barely 3-year-old refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling the refrigerator; the (bottom) freezer still worked fine. Sadly, we didn't have an extended warranty, but we didn't know if the issue still fell under the factory warranty, so we called Kitchenaid and it referred us to Wind as our closest authorized factory service center (and made the appointment for us). The Wind service person came as scheduled (and was masked, which we appreciated) and, sadly, informed us that while the sealed cooling system was under warranty, the problem was a failed blower fan that was *not* under warranty. Also, unfortunately, the part had to be ordered, and would not be available for installation until just after Thanksgiving. We made a follow-up appointment with the service person, and were quoted a price for the repair.
Today was the date of the scheduled repair. This morning, we got a call from Wind letting us know what time the rep would arrive; he came near the beginning of the promised window. He came in to the house, quickly replaced the faulty fan, got the refrigerator working again, and left. We paid what we'd been promised we'd have to pay.
Responsive service provider, responsible and efficient service person, got the part and installed it on the promised date, no hidden charges. Couldn't have asked for more (other than a refrigerator fan that didn't fail!).
