After 2 other companies canceled their estimate appointment, I heard a commercial for Exceptional Exteriors. I made an appointment and they were there as promised. The following week they installed my new roof and it looks amazing! The day they finished my new roof was tested with a rainstorm. I worked with Daryl at Exceptional Exteriors when I found a leak in my roof. I got quotes from a number of companies before deciding to go with Exceptional Exteriors. I knew I had to have a full year off done as the cost of repairs alone would have been too much for an old roof. Immediately after talking with Daryl I knew they were the contractor for me.

The other companies that came out: one I could tell was not particularly interested in doing the job and the other was a larger company that sent a salesman that clearly had never swung a hammer in his life. He didn’t even get ON my roof to give me a quote.

Daryl explained everything clearly, was very interested in taking care of me as a customer and was extremely professional and prompt throughout the whole interaction.

He got me in VERY quickly and his team was extremely prompt and courteous. The roof was done quickly but also done WELL. Their warranty is long and transferable and unlike a certain other company, they don’t charge you more for longer warranties.

I highly recommend anyone looking for a fair price on a quality job to look at Exceptional Exteriors. They came recommended to me by a friend who has a small job done and I’ll happily continue recommending them on in the future.

We used Exceptional Exteriors after many recommendations by family and friends who have had work done by them. The owner, Daryl, was easy to work with and was very quick and responsive to any questions we had. His prices were much lower than the quotes we received from other area roofing companies. The crew showed up on time, worked hard throughout the day and everyone was very respectful. To our surprise, Daryl and his crew had our roof (2700sqft. Full tear off) done in one day and they cleaned up after themselves like they were never even there. The crew went above and beyond our expectations and our roof looks phenomenal after the top notch service we received from Exceptional Exteriors! We will most certainly be recommending their services to others searching to have their roof done! Exceptional Exteriors was an absolutely wonderful company to have work on our home. They did a complete tear away and roof replacement, replaced all our gutters, and replaced our asbestos shingles with vinyl siding. They were fast, efficient, and polite. Shawn was on the ball and there everytime we needed anything. What a great company.....

Exceptional came out and did my roof in late spring 2023. They did a fantastic job. Had ice dam issue and tho it was a very mild winter 23-24 it appears to be solved. They lifted the siding that the previous contractor laid directly on the roof and left no room for draining. As for the 4 star and not a 5, because they had to cut a ridge vent in and there was a mess in my garage. They didn't lay down any tarps in my garage, I wouldn't expect them to do that in my crawl space. Also I found nails and shingles and scrape for weeks after. I called about 2 months after about ripples in the shingles and was told they will lay flat after summer. Its been 2 summers and there are some that are not laying flat. Doesnt appear to be hindering the job of the roof, but time will tell. Other than that, they were great to deal with and very quick!

We had our roof and gutters done by exceptional exteriors. We had multiple quotes and they were quite reasonably priced compared to the others. They showed up on time and did a great job. When Jesse arrived to discuss the siding estimate for my house, I had a two-page punch list of other items I wanted to address in addition to replacing the siding. The list included things such as removing the brick skirt in front, squaring off the garage door opening, removing gable vents, installing new storm doors, and replacing a side door into the garage with a window. I think he was a little surprised by the list of additional work, but we walked through everything with me and said he’d work with his boss to come up with an estimate that included all the work. When I received the final estimate, I was happy with the detailed cost breakdown and the very reasonable grand total. I also liked the type of siding they used, Charter Oak, since it was higher quality than other brands I’d looked at and offered many more color options. So, I happily accepted the proposal.

Jesse was a real trooper from start to finish and stayed in touch with me about any changes or issues. He also provided me with some examples of buildings that used the siding colors I was considering so I could see how they looked before I made my final choice. I really appreciated that since picking a color for a whole house can be a bit stressful.

Once the siding work began, I was amazed by how fast the work went. The siding crew was at the house by 7 AM every day and stayed until it started getting dark, taking time to clean up the site at the end of every day. The crew was outstanding, working very hard and reaching out to Jesse quickly whenever they found any issues uncovered by removing the old materials so the project could stay on track. As a result, the job was done in five days!

Many neighbors have given me a thumbs up on my new blue house, and contractors working on other projects for the house have also commented on the excellent quality of the work. So, I am very happy with the finished product and happy to recommend Exceptional Exteriors to anyone in the market for new siding.
