Jim and his crew were great and very professional. My wife and I had a custom fence project that was completed in a timely and efficient manner and we are thoroughly satisfied.

Corner post fence came out and looked at what I wanted done. They were very good at communicating the job from start to finish. Would recommend them to anyone. Extremely pleased with the outcome!!

After a wind storm on weekend in December 2021, Corner Post was contacted that next Monday at 08:00 to review chain link fence damage caused by several fallen trees. The owner called back that morning and arrived at our home that afternoon to propose an estimate.
So very fast response. Due to his schedule in December he was able to
schedule our repair that week. He sent 2 crew and they were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and neat. We were very pleased
with there work ethic and the end product. If we need this service
ever again on chain link fence, we will call Corner Post Fence Co. again.

10/10 service. Most reasonable pricing out of all companies in Rochester. Corner Post Fence left me speechless with the consistent communication, the ease of scheduling and our beautiful fence.

CPF installed 80' of Trex composite fence in FEBRAURY. Didn't know it was possible. The crew was amazing from start to finish. The owner, Jim Borrelli, was on site working as hard as his crew. Having the right heavy equipment moved the job along especially since the old wood fence and cemented slogs (posts) were removed then the new fence installed. These guys have an attention to detail. They were on time, courteous, answered all my questions throughout the day, discarded all debris in the dumpster (even removed it the same day) and were respectful of our neighbor's yard. I judge a company by how they respond when there is a problem and unfortunately when the job was measured and estimated they calculated 4 Trex brackets too few. I special ordered them from Home Depot as soon as they acknowledged they could not complete a short section. Ten days later when the brackets arrived a couple guys came back to finish up in a couple hours.
I highly recommend this company and can't say enough about their work ethic.

These guys worked hard through rain, wind, snow and sun. They were punctual, professional, and worked very very hard to get our new fence perfect. They were very adamant to get approval for any minor change needed due to our landscaping and massive tree roots. They were great to work with and had the best price.

Corner post was very helpful with helping us find a fence that fit our budget. They were knowledgeable and involved is in the process to ensure we got what we wanted. They were able to install the fence in a timely manner. I no longer have to worry about my dogs running me over with their wire. They are able to run free and we can now use our backyard again. They finished our vinyl fence in two days they worked in rain and snow to get it done. We are a corner house so a fence was not even an option, it was a must and they truly did a great job. They put a fence in a few years back and the service from start to finish was excellent. Very easy to work with and did everything that was expected in a timely manner. TL;DR Awesome team to work with from start to finish. The work was done well and at a competitive price.

Background: We needed to replace our existing residential fence (~300ft of fencing). We contacted multiple companies in the area for quotes. Our criteria were companies that could complete the desired work with >4.5 stars on Google (or other comparable review sites). Ultimately we retrieved four (4) different quotes from different companies.

Planning/Conversations/Customer Involvement/Satisfaction: Probably the biggest selling point for us to go with Corner Post was the feeling of teamwork/involvement at play during every conversation we had at every step of the process. Jim (owner) and Tom worked with us throughout the planning/bidding process with great professionalism and an ultimate goal of ensuring we were satisfied with whatever service(s) we landed on with them. We were initially exploring different options to replace our fence and asked each company for their opinions. Tom/Jim answered our questions and provided their advice/feedback in a way that ensured we never felt pressured to spend more money than we needed and that we would ultimately get the product that was best for our needs. Other companies either avoided providing advice (leaving us feeling like we were in the dark and gambling on decisions), or would push us heavily into spending more on fence styles we would later determine we did not need or want. This involvement and openness to providing advice continued through the bidding process and into the installation days where we were involved in each step of the tear-down and build.
The interactions included: initial contact for a quote through their website and subsequent return contact, an on-site inspection and measurement of the fence to provide a quote/estimate, conversations (email, phone, text) to make adjustments, 2nd onsite visit to finalize key details and sign contracts, questions/double-checks throughout the tear-down and build to ensure expectations were met (including a visit from Jim during the install to ensure we were satisfied).

Price: Corner Post was one of the best priced of the group (their final quote was the 2nd lowest). Part of the quoting process in later stages involved adjustments to match and/or ensure fairness with a lower cost competitor. The quote ultimately was very fair and favorable. While the lowest priced competitor had comparable materials for the build, they were hard to stay in contact with (long times between replies) and planned to perform the install in a less favorable manner (cutting posts at the ground rather than attempting to pull and fill). The other higher priced competitors did not offer anything of importance/value that would have swayed us.

Timing: We coordinated with Corner Post to get materials ordered while we awaited our permit approval (low risk of permit rejection) so that we could install quickly. Tear-down of the old fence and Installation took three (3) working days conducted over four (4) days (Friday, Saturday, and Monday). Initial plan was two (2) days, however our soil was significantly more rocky that expected (resulting in a longer time to dig post holes), and we had a storm on Sunday preventing safe working conditions: both of these are no fault of Corner Post, so no lost stars.

Tear-Down/Installation Days: The guys working on the fence each day were very professional. There was a mix of newer and more seasoned installers: anything the new guys did was inspected by the more seasoned installers before continuing. The seasoned installers would come by to ask questions during the build to make sure everything was built to our expectations and any needed changes (nothing major, just a few minor adjustments due to our topography) were communicated and agreed to prior to proceeding.

Final Pricing/Scope: Overall, the final pricing for work associated with tear down and install met the initial estimate.

If you are considering building a fence, do yourself a favor and have it built by Corner Post. They built a fence for my 80 year old mom. It is stunning. She had a very specific, custom made fence in mind and bc of the slope of her property, it was not an easy task. Jim and Tom took such good care of her throughout the process and she keeps calling me saying “I can’t tell you how much I love my fence. It looks beautiful”. Their price was right in alignment with her other quotes but it was the customer service that sold her. Again, do yourself a favor and call them!

I am very happy with the beautiful fence they installed. Jim and Chris hold themselves to a high standard. They are transparent, easy to work with, and adaptable to evolving requests. The installers did good clean work that I am very satisfied with.

Tom and the owner’s son, JP, did a fantastic job. They fixed the one side installed (and definitely should not have) and they stayed late to make sure they finished the install. They were efficient, polite and cleaned up the site.
