Outstanding Service from Brandon C!
Brandon came out to our home to diagnose and repair a roof leak, and he was incredible from start to finish. He quickly found the problem, had the roof repair completed in under an hour, and was friendly, professional, and easy to work with the entire time.
What impressed us most was that Brandon didn’t just fix the leak — he also gave us helpful insights on other home repair and roof maintenance projects his company could help with. It’s rare to find someone this efficient, knowledgeable, and personable.
If you need roof leak repair, emergency roofing services, or just want a trustworthy professional, we highly recommend Brandon C. We’ll definitely be calling again and asking for him by name! -
I recently hired Graves to replace the roofing on three buildings on my property. They did a great job throughout the entire process. They have been prompt, reliable, and very respectful of my time and my home. Steven Kline has been so patient with my endless questions. Roof replacement is a big investment and I was left feeling as if I got everything I paid for. I would be happy to work with them again on other projects.

Fraud, Lies, Incompetence & Urinating in My Yard – Stay Away from Graves Bros. / Oaks
I signed a contract with Graves Bros for a complete tear-off and new roof with new gutters. What my family got was an ongoing battle to get the job corrected after many lies were told and liberties taken.
Fraud: Graves promised a GAF President’s Club certified Graves Bros roofing crew. I received non-certified Oaks crew.
Lies: Graves promised photos taken during the job would show all layers were done correctly, including the drip edge. The photos show no drip edge at all and only two phases of the job – the tear off and the mostly shingled roof; there are no before & after photos for comparison.
Incompetence: Management has twice been unable to relay work orders to crews. The on-site supervisor did not read our contract and did not know that we were getting new gutters. His crew left the old gutters on the house, which meant they had to snip, deform and compromise the new drip edge to fit around the gutters. When the gutter crew came to replace the gutters, they further wrenched and twisted the drip edge. The roofing production manager tasked with correcting this problem failed to relay his “Punch List” to the second crew that was to repair the work from the first roof crew and gutter crew.
Urinating: Security footage revealed a worker exposed and relieved himself in my yard, near my garden. He then proceeded to take a photo of my garden before alerting a second worker to look.
Tyler Warshaw came to my house and sold my family on a 1-day roof job that was to be performed by GAF President’s Club certified contractors from Graves. Bros. A contract was signed and the job was scheduled for August 1st.
I was surprised to see on the scheduled work day a company truck from Oaks Construction arrive. The on-site supervisor Manny Saturria tried to excuse presence of the crew, stating that because Oaks owns Graves, there is really no difference in certification or qualification. That is a lie, as Graves/Oaks uses national shingle manufacturer GAF, which awards certification tiers based workmanship. Graves is certified with the top honor President’s Club as well as the second tier honor Master Elite, whereas Oaks is only certified as Master Elite. And oh, is there a difference in workmanship.
A week later the new gutters were installed and all of the issues were revealed. The gutter crew hastily did their job - chucking gutters into the grass, trapping tree branches, and using random pieces of downspouts and kick outs – then left unannounced. My husband and I went to check the work. From the ground the horrific job by Oaks presented itself.
We saw gaps between the shingles and decking; the drip edge was wrenched, twisted and flush with the house; rain was pouring from behind the new gutter; and starter strips and shingles had no overhang of the drip edge – all of this leads to water damage.
Oaks ignored my initial emails before roofing production manager John Lauricella scheduled a meeting at my house. He hadn’t even got on a ladder, let alone looked at any damage when he started to whitewash the situation. We had to implore him to let us show all of the problems. He offered to have a Graves crew replace the mangled drip edge and re-install it correctly, replace any damaged shingles, remove the tree trapped between the gutter and house, inspect the gutters and remove grass from corner miters before re-hanging on the house, change brown flange sealant to black to match the roof, and give us uniformed downspouts and kick outs.
This did not happen.
I waited weeks for the next crew. John emphatically swore that it would be a Graves Bros crew but once again it was Oaks. The two men were at my house for about 6 hours. They never removed or inspected the gutters but they did rip the trapped branch out, causing it to split. They did not replace the drip edge that was flush with the house, rather they further complicated the issue by jamming flashing behind it in some sort of Frankenstein fix. -
Excellent and professional customer service from beginning to end. Seven day turnaround time from estimate to installation.

Had new siding, windows, and exterior doors installed September of 2022.
Good:
* Window and Door installers were excellent!
Bad:
* Unnecessary dispute over their mistake in material ordering
* No subcontractor oversight, which led to numerous mistakes.
* No response to email about an issue after the final payment was made.
Details
* Contract called for new construction windows as the siding was being replaced at same time. They ordered the wrong replacement windows. Lied repeatedly and told me that was part of the estimate, even though it was in the contract as new construction. Took 2 weeks of back and forth for them to admit they made a mistake and offer a discount.
* The siding and exterior window/door framing was subcontracted out to First Choice Renovations. Nobody from Graves Bros. was overseeing their work. Somebody from Graves only stopped out days after the subcontractor was completely finished after a week of work.
There were numerous mistakes that I had to catch myself:
* They installed siding over my kitchen vent. Caught after my own daily inspection.
* My house had 2 layers of siding. Contract called for removing both. They removed one and attempted to install the new siding at that point. I had to catch that and stop them.
* They didn't have the garage door closed when they installed the seal for it, and it was nowhere close. They came back and did it again, still isn't right. There's still enough of a gap that snow was able to blow into my garage. See pics.
* Gaps were left on the sides of the exterior window sill exposing the wood to the elements. They had to come back and seal those.
* One of the 2nd floor window frames was installed inches off and was easy visible from the ground. This was done on their last day of work, and they had to come back to fix. (see pictures)
March 2023
* We had high winds. They never installed chains on the storm doors, or offered it as an option. Wind ripped open one of the storm doors, breaking the frame.
* I emailed them about the issue. They never responded at all. Ended up having to fix it myself.
July 2023
What's causing me to write this review now:
* The top row of siding is falling off. See pics. Will have to find somebody else to fix or do it myself. -
Rick did a fantastic job on my window. It turned out to be a pretty big job that took 3 days. He worked very hard and the results look great. Very nice guy too.

I call after some high wind damage to my roof. They were there within a few days and fixed the roof. The two men who worked on the roof did a great job and they were very friendly

Both Ryan the technician and Nick the estimator were consummate professionals. We had several quotes for our repair. The other quotes were dishonest and exaggerated, whereas Graves was honest and accurate. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Full Kitchen Remodel completely transformed my house, opened up the kitchen to rest of the house. The entire Graves Brothers team was quick to respond with all my questions throughout the project, the team was quick and i saw progress everyday. the team made the entire process easy and i would recommend them to anyone

Had Graves Brothers stop out to repair some soffit damage. Anthony and his partner came out and repaired it in a little over an hour. Had the necessary tools and experience and did a great job. I had some trim paint and they painted the soffit and trim to match.

Used Graves to install two windows, including a bay that required a new wall opening. Estimating experience with Aaron Wight was by far the best we had from multiple companies. Very detailed, not rushed, no pressure, and we appreciated the thorough work order outlining every aspect of the job. Can't say enough about the workers, Tim, Luke, and Tom, but especially Tim, who saw the project through from start to finish and genuinely cared about getting the details perfect. Extremely courteous, cleanly and organized, never complained even when issues came up, and meticulous workmanship. Felt like our house and project was treated as if it were their own - no cutting corners with these guys. Also liked that the manager, Cory Scanlon, stopped out to check on things and make sure we were happy, and was easy to reach. Looking forward to using Graves again in the future.

We had a great experience with Graves Brothers! Alex came to discuss what needed to be done and provided us with a quote for a new roof & siding. We had two layers of roofing to be removed (a metal roof & shingles) along with the removal of two skylights, all to be replaced with a new shingle roof. Matthew VanHorn, Carlito and his crew showed up and got right to work, removing both layers in only a couple of hours. Matt made sure to keep us updated along the way, informing us of any plywood that was rotted and needed to be replaced. They had the job done from start to finish in just one day & didn’t leave until everything was picked up. We would highly recommend this crew to anyone looking for a company who provides excellent work without cutting corners just to get the job done. We are excited to see the finished product when the siding is replaced in a few weeks.

Had my soffits done.Fantastic workers. They did a wonderful job. My only small issue was that I had to use my magnet to find a handful if nails and metal in my driveway and the neighbor's driveway. Just glad that I caught it before parking my car in the driveway. Hope that I have those guys and girls again if I need work done. Thank you.

We give Graves a 4.5 out of 5 stars, we were (mostly) super super impressed! We had a bunch of work done so I’m going to break it down by category
Sales: 4.5/5- getting an appointment at first took a while, as to be expected given the time of year but make sure you tailor your expectation from the beginning. Kris went through the entire project with us (it’s a big one… full removal and install of new roof, some new gutters and some new siding on a VERY complex house) and was super patient as we asked our thousand questions. He also stayed connected through the project! The only thing that was missing was a final “how do you like it?” check in after completion. We also aren’t sure about our warranty so speaking to Kris again would have been nice.
Roof: 5/5 - the Forman Reese was AMAZING. Hands down the best. Don’t lose him, Graves Brothers! They cleaned up after each day, they were polite, and the work looks great. Reese kept us updated throughout the project and helped us through a few pretty bad unseen issues. The only thing with the roof I wasn’t expecting was that they really work dawn to dusk. They were here by 8am and some days didn’t leave until after 8pm. Graves, I hope that you treat them well, that’s a very very long day of labor!
Gutters: 3/5 - the gutters look great now that they’re done but oh my gosh was it painful to get to that part. They had to come out three maybe four times to do the correct gutters. I don’t really mind that part but the gentleman who did them was very inconsiderate and rude. I showed him the first two times which gutters were included and even showed him the picture Kris provided to us since they were only replacing some of the gutters. He wasn’t actually listening to me and was dismissive… hence why he had to come back out again and again. Now that they’re done we love them, but I don’t think we would go to Graves for gutters in the future. It was fine since we had a bunch of other work, but we wouldn’t seek them out for further gutter replacement.
Craftsman: 5/5 - Eric was amazing (also, note how I know everyones name except the gutter person). It took a bit to get aligned for the work to be done due to the weather but Eric was awesome about letting me know and coordinating a date / time. He was super nice and his work was wonderful. We have a very large old house with wood siding and some of it (in places we couldn’t easily get to) had to be repaired. Took him a few hours and now it looks wonderful.
Overall we really liked our experience with Graves, they weren’t the cheapest but they weren’t the most expensive either. Calling in to pay our invoice was a breeze and for the most part everyone was wonderful! We will be calling them when we’re ready to have the front facade roofing replaced and the siding since they’re reliable and the work was done very very well (which is tough for most places to meet because we have VERY high expectations! Hey, 29k isn’t pocket change, we need to make sure our investment is well made). Thank you, Graves for making our first contractor experience in our new home so wonderful. We are very appreciative of you! ☺️ -
Just had a complete tear off and rebuild done. Highly recommended this company. They get back to you very quickly and always work to get you answers.
Sales guy Tyler was very cordial and polite. Answered texts around the clock.
Project Manager Jordan went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the work during and after the project. Highly recommend him if you want the job done.
The workers were at it non stop, and I believe the foreman was Carlito. Very nice team of hard working individuals!
Thank you to all involved! -
From the call to set up the appointment for the quote, to the completion of the job, the entire experience was top notch. Tom our Estimator and Rich our Service Tech were excellent. Job was well done, they both were friendly and courteous, and Rich left the job site immaculate! Job was on time and on budget. First class all the way!

Timothy O'Connor, had hired graves brother roofing
Co.
In good faith ,that work that they were going to perform with quality
Pride , and professionalism, what I got instead , was a total disregard, and disrespect , structural damage to my roof , a inexperienced crew , they damaged my fence by dropping so much depris on the steel post , it snapped it out of the ground ,
I have taken multiple pictures , of their office work , it's very obvious for a man like me ,how bad and poorly it is ,
I say this because I was a tradesman ,for 46 years , and family built home for a living , although my actual trade was finish plaster ,and drywall .
And carpentry ,so I'm relatively positive , I know great , good , average , and the rest by looking at it with my years of experience , I've been waiting for a response from Graves brothers for over a week ,when they sent the sales guy to come take pictures of all the work , with his phone video camera, and idoe drone . On Wednesday the 27 th , I filed , a grievance, and hired an inspector to share his findings .
I can't begin to tell you , how upsetting this is , that I was promised ,a lot of false promises by this company . And from my personal experience I wouldn't advise or refer this company to anyone . Sincerely Mr Timothy and Rebecca O'Connor -
The siding installation went smoothly and the crew worked long hours despite the heat and humidity. The siding looks great and the crew cleaned up around the property at the end of every day

Repaired my hardy board siding 3 panels damaged by water.
Excellent job, only firm that answered my calls, gave me a quote, and came to perform the job. No one else seemed to want the job.
Happy with outcome. -
Brandon Carpenter was great! He was friendly and efficient, was very communicative, providing great service and also providing recommendations for future roofing needs. We appreciated his overall professionalism and would recommend them to anyone.
