I hired Graves Brothers in May 2024 to address an urgent roof repair. From the beginning, I stressed the importance of completing the job before July 1st, when our new tenants were set to move in. The team assured me that the work—quoted at $2,000—could be finished in one day. I signed the contract on May 6th and was told work would begin May 13th.

After weeks of silence, I had to repeatedly follow up. Finally, on June 11th, a crew arrived only to discover additional issues. They left without finishing due to the heat, which I understood. However, no one informed us when they would return. I had to call multiple times for confirmation, and they assured me the job would be completed on June 17th.

Days later, the roof began leaking again. Concerned, I reached out to discuss repair versus replacement, but received no response—only a surprise invoice for $800 above the original quote. While I would have accepted the extra cost had the work been timely and effective, it clearly was not.

Over the next few months, the pattern of unprofessionalism continued. Crews showed up unannounced while we were out of town, and despite being told the job was "100% complete," my tenants reported continued leaks. A fourth crew member then inspected the work, stating it had been done incorrectly from the start, with gaps between the flashing and the dormers and insulation torn out without replacement. Worse yet, they suggested redoing the entire job, admitting it could be completed in 18 hours—significantly less than the 30 hours we had already been billed for.

After multiple attempts to reach management, including speaking with three different staff members and being promised a call from a senior leader, Anthony, we have yet to hear back—despite weeks of waiting.

At this point, we had no choice but to contact another contractor for an assessment. Their report was alarming—they couldn’t believe the poor quality of work, showing us pictures of broken siding, improperly installed flashing, and warped cedar that was never replaced. Their professional opinion mirrored the previous roofer’s: the work would need to be completely redone, which they assured us could be completed in one day.

As a homeowner and landlord, I am beyond disappointed with Graves Brothers’ lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability. We are now four months into this project, and our roof remains in worse condition than before. I urge anyone considering Graves Brothers to do their research thoroughly. If this is the standard of work they stand behind, prospective clients should be aware of what they’re getting into. Our experience has been extremely disappointing and frustrating...

Great job! Knowledgeable, hard-working crew got our new roof done quickly and expertly without leaving any sign of a mess. They even used a metal detector to find stray nails!

Repeat customer here! When the ice and snow became to much and ripped out a section of my gutter, Blake and Lenny saved the day. They were prompt, professional, and did such a superior job and cleaned up so well that you'd never know the gutter had fallen in the first place.

Graves brothers was the perfect choice, I reached out to them to get some ideas on my Siding project Max came by and walked me through my options, After that Jason kept me informed with the next phase and stating date. When Jason showed up with the crew of workers everything went extremely well and when the job was done I loved it and I didn't have any complaints about the work that was done. We just used Graves Bros for a massive tear off roof with multiple layers.
The sales meeting led by Aaron Wight was very professional and informative. He was able to give us extra information with the many follow-up questions we had throughout the week.
On project day, Matt VanHorn and his huge team, led by Manny, showed up on time and were amazing to watch. They were efficient, polite, and left our yard clean. They were able to finish this huge project in one day, which we really appreciate having 4 young kids. Matt made sure we had a thorough walk around to review all of their work to ensure we were happy before they left. Our roof looks great! I highly recommend.

Graves Brothers was awesome to work with, especially Brendon and Kody. They explained every step of their work and why they did it, and they stayed all day until the job was done, even in bad weather. Their pricing was fair and transparent too. Would absolutely do business with them again.

I’m surprised that Graves Brothers has such good reviews. I wish I felt the same way. Started the new roofing job in October 2019, but didn’t finish until May 2020. They wanted payment over winter even though the job wasn’t done. Now i have a leaking roof because the roof wasn’t flashed correctly, but Graves says it not under their 5 year warranty. They won’t honor their work or warranty. They offered a $275 credit towards getting the roof fixed. Why would I pay them more money when it should’ve been correctly in the first place. Very disappointing. I definitely would not recommend.

After a rocky start and a little on edge due to early miscommunication, Graves did a decent job on our siding and the price was competitive. While the project got delayed more than a month, they did complete it in less than a week and were respectful of our property. They made some mistakes, but if you can be patient and calm, they did make it right. Max, Anthony, and Jason were all great. It just required more persistence and flexibility than I would prefer. I would not recommend them if you are looking for expert advice or are not 100% sure of exactly what you want but if you can be very specific and detailed in what you want and ask them to repeat it back to you to ensure they truly understand, then they will do a fine job. They don’t go above and beyond so your direction and specific expectation needs to be laid out from the start, but I’m not sure anyone in this business would do better. End of the day, Anthony was understanding and took care of the few errors made at the start, and the project manager, Jason, was accessible and open to feedback during the job, making him easy to work with. I love our new siding. Huge improvement from what we had. I don’t think I would hire them for anything other than siding though. I think that is what they know best. Monogram is the siding we chose and it seems like a great product.

Poor communication at call center with emails sent with no way to contact someone back, and add ons to pricing on the day of job for work other companies do not charge extra for , ie the trim around window was rotting and they wouldn’t replace it unless we paid over $1,000 extra when the sales person led us to believe they would complete the window and trim installation. Our sales rep texted us days after we reached out and never called us once to check on the complaints we had. I remember how he kept in touch with me very well in the beginning when he wanted the contract signed timely .. but once we paid 1/2 his communication dropped off ! The work is still not done as they installed the screens that do not fit and do not go up and down without being stuck.
We went with Graves for price but realize now that was a mistake and have to pay for work we are not happy with !

Huge ice build up on roof, 2' (feet), and water coming down the inside of the walls in the house. I called late Sunday and they came on Tuesday afternoon.

I was really impressed with this crew and the crew leader, very professional and clear communicators, The crew leader was very professional, a pleasure to do business with, she clearly communicated about what about what they could and couldn't do and about the payment scales. Very competent and pleasant. I had 6 men on the roof!

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Torres and his crew! They completed our roofing project so quickly, made sure the surrounding areas were protected during active construction and they also cleaned up nicely afterwards. Torres was friendly, communicative & professional, and never hesitated to answer our questions! We’re so glad we chose Graves Bros to tackle our exterior projects. Rough start. Quoted wrong price, but the person estimating compensated for the error. People removing old siding didn't pull all the nails out, but put house wrap over them, which made the installers have to find all the nails, slice through the house wrap to remove them, then patch over the cuts. However, the two young men, Romeo & Justin, were so respectful, fastidious, exacting, frugal with the materials supplied to them, and they cleaned up each day like they hadn't even been there. Both young men were a pleasure to have around they did beautiful work.

Brendon was very helpful and communicative with my roof repair, and he gave his honest professional advice on getting a new roof as well. Repair cost is subtracted from new roof price, good deal! Thank you for coming to help on a cold 15 degree day in January to patch the leak!

I am very pleased with the work Graves Brothers and Oaks siding have done for me. Everything was easy from the price quotes to scheduling the work. The install team were pleasant and very professional. I highly recommend them for any home repair or upgrades.

Devin and his team did an amazing job. Complete tear off and roof done in 8 hours. Friendly service, no damage done to any of the outside and not a single nail or any debris in the front or backyard. Bonus for loving our pets! Highly recommend! Before and after photos!

We have used them a few times in the past and have been very happy. However., this time so dissatisfied that we are finishing things on our own. I won't get into the start with estimating because the end results are so bad. The crew that did the siding had NO respect for the Aesthetics of the house or the yard and landscaping.
Everything we had issue with was a discussion or we would have no correspondence or reply from anyone. Connor was our contact and he thought everything was a joke and he would get back to us and never did. Now that it is spring we are seeing how much damage was done to our Landscaping. We have hundreds of dollars worth of damage not to mention the time to replant everything.
The front of the house has a window that the trim and siding are crooked so bad to the point the people installing the gutters commented on it. Also in the back of the house where they destroyed our landacaping it's crooked.
I would not recommend this company to anyone and as a matter of fact have told people how we feel who are looking to remodel. Really is a shame that Graves has gone downhill since being bought out by Oaks

We are so happy we chose to work with Graves Brothers for our siding. We had old 1970’s yellow siding. It was definitely showing its age and was the original color. We had a specific color in mind and it is not being made. Mike showed us what is in the same color range. He gave us options and helped us decide. The workmanship is great! The crew went out of their way to help me and voluntarily helped me with something that I was struggling with. The clean up was so thorough that there are no “lost” or dropped nails. The attention to detail is amazing. We are so happy with our new siding, the color is fantastic. Many of the neighbors compliment us on the color and work. When we need additional work Graves Brothers will be our first choice. I am definitely recommending Graves Brothers!

They are fantastic. I was at first concerned with the time it took to start the job itself but once they came, the siding was completed in 3.5 days instead of 7 days. Worked hard. Looks absolutely beautiful. One small issue came up, when I pointed it out, they fixed it immediately. Exceeded all my expectations. Not the cheapest , not most expensive, worth every dime

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Their crew started on Tuesday and were done by the following Monday, even came on a Saturday to get some more work done. Unfortunately a few days after the work was completed we got hit with 55mph wind gusts that took off a couple of fascia pieces. Called the job supervisor the following morning and sent him the pictures. Assumed it would be a thing of be back next week or on the weekend to take care of it. Nope! Instead they came right down that very same day and got it all straightened out and back together! Genuinely can’t say enough good things about them just for doing that alone. Absolutely top class people and a damn great company to work with. Plus the house has never looked this beautiful
