Very diligent driveway paving to ensure water would drain properly for my side-load garage.

They did a nice job, just finished. I talked to Gus on the phone, took the time to answer my questions, very knowledgeable.

We are very happy with how the brick walkway turned out!

Called a number of times for an estimate for driveway replacement. They said they would take a look and provide an estimate. 3 calls 0 estimates.

The person who showed up was exceedingly hostile from the start. He dismissed my questions and proceeded to tell me he wouldn't do a driveway because I should have gotten the town to first solve my backyard drainage problem. His tone and manner were kind of stunning.

Gus, the owner, is extremely rude and condescending. i have never been treated so rudely in my life. stay far away from this company. Someone this volatile isn't trustworthy. Not sure how they are still in business as I see from other reviews and from speaking with the secretary that this is common behavior.

I've used Pittsford Paving since 2003 when they put in a new driveway, and they have sealed it every couple of years since. I've not experienced any rudeness from Gus, or anyone at Pittsford Paving. I spoke with Gus yesterday about the condition of my driveway, and he not only gave me an honest assessment of an area I thought might need to be patched but discouraged me from doing anything other than having it sealed! I will continue to have Pittsford Paving maintain my driveway.

Our driveway job included landscaped aspects which added complication to our driveway work. Our satisfaction with Pittsford Paving’s crew and their careful attention to doing a great job with everything involved is very much appreciated.

Decided to use a locally owned company for a small job. They were very timely on the quote, let me know I would be roughly 1-2 weeks out. However, they never followed through with the work. When I last called to check on my scheduling. I was told I would receive a call back - never happened. Sadly, I will not call this company again

Very happy with the work done. Was a little put off by some of the other reviews of Gus, but we found him to be very nice and when we ask for something in the long run was not the right way to go, he very nicely explained why we should not do that. Also a fantastic crew.

We never got to the point of them actually doing any work. The person who showed up for the estimate, Gus, was so rude, unprofessional and condescending that we ended the conversation before we even got to an estimate. I had some questions for him, and he basically told me I didn't know what I was talking about and that we will send you a boilerplate contract, take it or leave it, and then pay us. He then accused me of having the nerve to waste his time, even though it took them a week to even call me back to let me know when they would bother to show up to give me an estimate. Stay as far away from this company as you can.

Did a great job Replacing our driveway about 10 years ago. They sealed it every other year since then. This year I asked for an estimate for an extension on the driveway and seal coating. This was three months ago. Called multiple times. I was assured that the owner would call me directly. No response. Don’t understand how people can run a business like this. Do yourself a favor, find someone else.

These guys did a fantastic job on my driveway. They are a bit more expensive than the average rate but it is well worth it. They came with one crew to level and set the gravel and then another to pave. If you want a professional looking driveway this is your company.

Everyone in Gus’s crew was meticulous and took pride in their work. They ripped out our old asphalt driveway and installed a new one and two gorgeous paver side walks. We were delighted with the end products.

Terrible company and ownership. Five month wait from when we signed contract to job being performed. They also cut into and broke our invisible fence line when patching driveway. Called the owner Gus and proposed what I thought was an equitable resolution of paying quoted invoice for job less out of pocket expenses that I have to pay invisible fence to fix line. Gus not receptive to offered resolution and accused me of trying to steal from him and questioned whether his guys even broke the invisible fence line. Will not be using them again and will recommend others don’t as well.

The pride and workmanship that Pittsford Paving has is unmatched. Pittsford Paving clearly explained each step and why and provided options. They understood our needs and anticipated them also. Comparing work that a neighbor had with their driveway and sidewalk replacement that starting on the same day by another company and you could easily see the differences in how they conducted themselves (no permit, didn’t have utilities marked and left a mess.

Seeing some mixed reviews, I was initially hesitant to contact Pittsford Paving- however, seeing their work on houses in my area, I called anyway. So happy I did! Absolutely wonderful experience! I never met Gus, however, I did speak to him multiple times over the phone. He was more than helpful- he gave me sound advice. Very knowledge. I had my driveway re-paved and my front walkway, redone with pavers. Everything turned out beautiful. I didn’t pay a penny more than his estimate- which was very reasonable. His crew even removed a stone landscaping boarder for no extra charge.

Furthermore, they came when they said they would- called beforehand, and had the job completed when they said they would. The office staff was friendly and informative as well.

Very happy with the driveway and walkway they did for me. Very professional and fast. I had one small issue and when I called to explain, they came back within 8 hours of my call to fix. The fix exceeded my expectations.

We have had nothing but bad luck with contractors and were hesitant to hire another one. When Gus came out, he seemed a little gruff, as others have mentioned, but I think it is really just because he knows his stuff and is a no-nonsense kind of guy. He is actually very nice. We could not have been more pleased with the work his team did! We had our driveway and sidewalk redone. Gus was on-site every day there was work going on making sure that everyone was on the same page. He called to make sure deliveries happened when they should and was patient with my nervous phone calls. I wish we could hire him to oversee work we need done inside!

I first want to say Gus knows the business. He might be a little standoffish at first but trust me it gets better. I had my driveway and sidewalk replaced last Summer and couldn't be happier. The process took some time, but its was worth the wait. The sidewalk looks amazing and held up the the winter without cracking. The driveway is perfect and I actually called back while I was in the stone stage and added a third lane due to kids returning from college. Thank you Gus for great service. I really appreciate all the hard work.

Black creek construction came and did some landscaping for me and what a fantastic job! The workers came on time , worked hard the whole time and clean up was great! My yard looks amazing!
