Hess did an excellent job. He was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I appreciated that he was cross-trained in both plumbing and electrical work — he installed new ball valves and replaced my hose bibs, and also replaced my two outdoor outlets with bubble covers to prepare for winter. The quality of his work was top-notch. It was definitely on the expensive side, but I was in a tight spot and needed it done right — and he delivered.

We have used Nichols for 6 years. Yesterday we had a kitchen plumbing question/problem and Joe was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything, asked questions, and gave cost effective advice. The scheduling was also easy and thorough, they listen to your needs and after booking send email and text with technical name, and they were on time. Everything our household needs for electric and plumbing we go to Nichols. If you want timely, professional, safe and guaranteed service, they’re the place.

We hired Nichols to do an upgrade of our electrical panel to 200amp service. Justin Hinkley was our primary contact from sales through installation and did an excellent job!

I had an electrical box installed and a plug fixed by Josiah C this week and the work was excellent. I had about 43 other electrical questions around the house that he so patiently answered and then provided me an estimate for them. Highly recommend Nichols and will be using them again.

We contacted Nichols to assess 2 leaky faucets. Jesh came out today and assessed the problem and had the parts he needed to fix the problem. Jesh was very professional, honest, personable and knowledgeable. After completing the job he carefully showed me all he did to fix our leaky pipes. He made some great suggestions in keeping faucets working smoothly....general maintenance most homeowners don't think about. Appreciated his expertise and kind way.

10/10 experience. I needed my kitchen faucet replaced as well as my basement utility faucet due to a leak. Ron was very knowledgeable and was great every step of the way from coming over to give me a quote, to helping me figure out what I needed, and then coming back for the overall installation. We had a great experience with Nichols Electric doing a large electrical project in a condominium, which included a panel upgrade plus adding a bathroom fan and a lot of new lighting. You could not have asked for a better project manager than Justin Hinkley, who was exceedingly patient with all our questions and replied promptly to many messages during a lengthy planning process. Nick and Josiah, who executed the actual work of the job, were also extremely competent, hard working and willing to answer questions and accommodate requests. An A+ experience.

Nate was great. Very knowledgeable. Gave me options and reviewed them fully. I only gave them a 4 because you pay for quality and they’re a bit expensive. I paid $650 for two outlets and an addition to my electrical box. Seemed like a lot for less than 2 hrs of work.

We had a leak in our basement and Nichols sent Eric out to save the day. Eric was absolutely fantastic. He explained to us in plain language what happened and what needed to be done. I really appreciated his professionalism, depth of knowledge, and positive demeanor.

Both wrote up estimates and allowed me to pick and choose which options I could afford. They both sent me quotes for other options to be done at a later time.
Well pleased with this company and it's very hard workers who did their jobs as quickly as possible.
They were on time, called 15 minutes ahead of time, texted, and emailed well in advance with reminders.

Ben was personable and polite, very respectful. He explained the problem that I was having fully. It was a free estimate, which I appreciated so much. I had electrical service done in my residence last fall. Dan Nichols was the electrician. He was very respectful and completed the order in a timely manner..💯. He suggested to add a power surge to my electric panel to protect the outlets when the power goes out. At first I was a little hesitant but I was convinced and added the extra cost. I have to say it was the best thing .. so far I have lost power about 6 times within the last 30 days and I am extremely happy I made that purchase! Happy customer. Thank you.

My wife woke up in the middle of the night to the smell of gas and a water heater that had flooded our basement - needless to say, things were not ideal especially considering this was early Sunday morning. I had recently asked my parents who they used for plumbing and gave Nichols a call around 08:30AM not expecting to reach anyone directly.

I was greeted by a message that allowed me to either leave a voicemail or speak to the AI assistant and opted for the latter. The experience was genuinely good and the AI was very responsive, asking for details and providing clear explanations. Shortly after I hung up, I was called by a live person, Penny, and she helped me get Ron GuderJohn assigned to help us.

Ron was quick to call me back to confirm he was on his way, arrived on time, and quickly diagnosed precisely what was needed to remedy the situation. A few hours later, our old tank was removed and a new one was in its place.

Ron was extremely knowledgeable, polite, professional, and able to make the entire process run smoothly despite the fact my wife and I were running on a significant sleep deficit. He helped turn a stressful situation into a pleasant experience and we would definitely call him again for any of our plumbing needs.

I’m not much on words so I’ll cut to the chase. My water heater sprung a leak. I called Nichols. Penny, a very pleasant human answered, took all my information and within 15 minutes a service technician called and say he was 15 minutes out. Eric showed up and gave me a price and IMMEDIATELY started work while he called in for a new unit. Another technician brought the unit and it was installed within the hour. Any mess that was made was cleaned up and the old unit was hauled away. I couldn’t have asked for any better service. I hope I never need their service again but Will HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who asks. If I ever have need of an electrician, these are the folks I will call. I have not been compensated for this review. Trust me, it’s honest 👍

Communication with these guys is great. Emails and texts leading up to your appointment. Josiah and Jack were great. They showed up on time and were very professional and friendly. I'm very picky and they left nothing to complain about. Everything was clean and picked up. You can tell they really care about their work. I felt good about the final invoice. Nichols was fantastic. Dustin was our electrician and arrived the same day I called for an appointment. We have an older house and were switching out all of our almond switches and outlets for white. I had created an issue for myself trying to DIY with complicated 3 and 4 way switches, so called Nichols to come assist.
