Luke came out to repair my leaking shower head. Luke was Awesome! Communicated everything he was doing very well. But the price I ended up paying ,considering I bought the parts was very concerning. But I was In a bind so I had to bite the bullet. As much as I liked the technician, I will definitely look for a more economical option next time.

This was by far the best experience I have had with an electrican company. From Caleb coming out to do a free estimate to Nate our tech who came and installed a new exhaust fan, it was such a good experience. Nate went above and beyond and did such an amazing job. He was very professional, explained everything along the way and even provided recommendations at the end of our appt. I am so grateful to have such a good experience!

JoeI was assigned a service call to my home due to a serious draining issue on three of my sinks. Joel had been to my house previously to do work and I knew his reputation and his skill so I was very confident that this problem would get resolved. And as I expected, he was able to determine the cause and make the necessary repairs. He even looked into a situation that I didn't expect him to and he came up with a solution to that as well and didn't charge me extra for the time only for the part. This was all done while being very professional. Joel took care of my home too, leaving it the same way he found it. Nichols P and E has been the only company I use for my plumbing and electrical needs and I have never been dissatisfied.

Isaac and Jack were fantastic! They were very professional, completed all the work quickly and correctly, and took the time to explain everything to us so we could understand what was being done! Amazing experience from start to finish! Can’t recommend them enough if you need any kind of electrical work done! I was very pleased with the work I had done. The electricians were experienced and professional. They were cordial and informative, without being high pressure regarding a couple of suggestions they made me aware of. I would use Nichols in the future, if need be.

I had another great experience with Nicols Electric. They scheduled me quickly, and Dustin was kind, professional, and very thorough. He clearly explained how he would diagnose the problem and walked me through the repair process once he found the issue. The work was completed efficiently and neatly. We had quite a few plumbing issues that weren't critical but needed to be done and we have put off. Called Nichols and our service expert came through and did a whole house inspection for us. From there, we prioritized what we were will to take care of and Jesh, was very helpful in helping us determine the importance of each item. Jesh Barth was our service expert along with London (an apprentice to Nichols program). They arrived on time, were very polite, very personable, considerate of our home and our prior time commitments. They worked in our basement, main floor and second floor on numerous repair projects. They were impeccable in cleaning everything and explaining everything that was done. You would never know they had been in our home. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I've used Nichols for Electric work in the past, and just had one of their plumbers, Jesh, out to repair 1 toilet and replace another.
The whole team is great to work with - the schedulers in the office are helpful but know when to defer questions to the technicians, they send a helpful introduction of your technician when they're on the way, and also give you a call to confirm it's a good time within the window when they head over.
Their work has always been excellent and they've been super patient with all of my questions to make sure I understood the plan & my options when they've come out to provide quotes. I will certainly use them again and would recommend them.

We were very pleased with Nichols ability to fit us in on two important Plumbing jobs on two different days.

Desperately needed an upgrade of six shut off valves and two new faucets. Jesh Barth did a great job explaining everything to us, especially why we needed a pressure relief valve..

It started with a phone call from Isaac telling me he was on his way and letting me know he was stopping at Dunkin on the way and did I want a coffee. How thoughtful. Once here he and his partner were respectful of my property, explained all my options and answered many questions. They put in my 220 line expeditiously and even put my dryer plug on the unit and the vent hose and then pushed it back into place. I loved that. Great job.

Josiah came at the time I was texted with his helper. Old light fixtures were to be upgraded in my mother's house to get it ready to sell. They were there around 2 hours, did a great job, and the house looked so much better. Both gentlemen (kids haha) were friendly and professional. Josiah also told me about an potential electrical problem and gave me an estimate. Very happy with their work and would recommend them.

Nick Hance and an apprentice installed a fan in a bedroom, replaced a ceiling fan in the living room, changed out and installed a new light in our two-story foyer, moved electrical box to be centered over kitchen table & put in new dimmer switch. They were excellent at their work, very pleasant and cordial. We would recommend Nichols Electrical Services to anyone. We’re very pleased with their services - especially Nick Hance.

I have hired Nichols for several projects in my new home and have been very impressed with their work. They are a bit pricey but definitely worth it. Every service technician has been knowledgeable and professional. They always follow up to make sure the job was to my satisfaction. The absolute best customer service. They installed vents for two bathrooms and the roofer didn't show up to install the roof vents. I called the office and they got someone out right away to take care of it and finish the job. They sent us a thank you gift that was so thoughtful.

I had Nichols come out to get an estimate on changing my main water shut off and the water pressure regulator. WOW I got a shock. In fairness they had good communication, tech was fine. But the price!!! They don't list labor but it's built into each parts price. Plus they charge $99 just to come out to do the job. My total job was shy of $1600. I did not have them do the work. I went to homedepot and bought the pressure regulator for $199. Very easy as it threads on. Nichols price for same valve was almost $700! So figure $500 to install. No lol. I'll price out shut off, I'm sure it's even cheaper than regulator. Hey they have to make money but in the end, figure $1200 for labor and $400 total parts . So not for me. The mention of Nichols " expertise" compared to a "DIY" is ridiculous and insulting. The valve just threads on. A monkey could do it. I really just wanted the main water valve replaced. That one is a bit more work as you need to get the water authority turn off water etc. I replaced the pressure valve in less that 30 minutes which included removal, cleaning threads, tephlon tape, check for leaks etc. So their $700 is theft!

After failed attempts to change out the tub spout that had rusted along with the shower handle that stopped heating up ourselves my wife and I booked an appointment online with Nichols Electrical and Plumbing. Scheduling was easy and they were able to come out the next business day. We had used their services once before for electrical work and knew we liked their expertise and workmanship. Ron was pleasant and got the job done the same day. With our house being over 100 years old and having had some DIY stuff done before we bought it I’m not surprised an easy change out we couldn’t accomplish. But they got it done and I couldn’t be happier. Now everything works as it’s supposed to and they even confirmed we didn’t have any leaks from the prior DIY installation. I highly recommend them as they are quick, efficient, and priced fair for their warranties on labor and materials. Next projects we have for plumbing or electrical they definitely will be who we hire.

Nate was so polite! He walked me through what he saw, what he needed to do to fix the problem, and then completed work. I also had my wild 3 year old running around and he was very patient. Thank you so much for time and respect.

Service breaker repair and outlet for new dishwasher.

Called Nichols with a non-emergency but urgent plumbing issue. Because it wasn’t an emergency, we scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. Joe Brennan, the plumber, arrived on time. We reviewed 2 options to solve the issue and found the less expensive solution the better option. Joe had all the tools and supplies on the truck so the work started immediately. Within 30 minutes of arriving the issue was resolved. Very satisfied with Nichols, Joe and most importantly the final fix.

I recently had a bathroom fan installed by Nichols and they did an excellent job. Nick S. came out and did the install and he did a great job. There was no fan before so he had to cut a hole in the ceiling and also in the roof.

While it took a couple of days due to the roofer coming at an alternative day (not their fault), the finished product is excellent. Nick was very professional and always gave me a heads up if I needed to know something or if my input was needed.

I would definitely reach out to them again for any electrical or plumbing issue that I am not able to handle.

Our experience with Nichols representative was awesome.Ben professionalism was stellar. The electrical work was updated to code and was fast and efficient. When Ben left ,it was like he hadn't been there.

From start to finish this place provides absolutely amazing service for a decent price! I honestly had some hesitation when hearing about the estimation price added to the overall fee, however, my experience was fantastic and I'm very glad that I went with them! Amazing communication and everyone that I dealt with was very kind and professional. I loved that when I called I got an appointment for the very next day! Then when Ethan, the electrician, was on his way I received a text notifying me of that as well as approximately how long it would take for him to get there, as well as a picture of him with some of his background. I've never experienced this when working with a company for a repair/installation and it was really helpful and a nice touch to be able to see who was going to show up at my door. I had also requested a call 30 minutes prior to the arrival and that was done as well. Ethan was so professional, respectful, and friendly while installing everything. He was also very kind and patient with my dogs, allowing them a few minutes to become comfortable with him when he first arrived. Loved that! I felt very comfortable having him in my home for the repairs.
I also appreciated that when he had a question about the height and positioning for my vanity light he asked me as he was doing it and made sure that it was right and that I was happy with it before moving on to the next fixture. He cleaned everything up and brought all the boxes/ old fixtures outside for me and vacuumed as well to ensure that everything was clean again before he left. Outstanding friendly service, reasonable pricing, and professional personnel. I will most definitely use them again as needed in the future! Highly recommend!
