My experience is that this company lacks resources to meet their obligations and provides minimal communication in doing so! The only time during the entire '16-'17 plow season that they needed to perform they did not. They also turned off the voicemail to the mobile phone of the manager, so I was unable to contact the company to ask for assistance in using my driveway. During a 48 hr. show fall they plowed twice. My driveway at the time of this review has had 8" of snow in it for over 8 hrs. Wish I had read the reviews before committing to this company.

I am disappointed in the level of customer care Rochester Lawn Care provides. The 4 times I have needed the driveway plowed this year we have had to have it snowblown two of those times.

My first issues came on Christmas Day with a house full of guests arriving. I called with my concerns and left a message. I didn't expect an answer since it was Christmas, but I did expect some follow up within a week. It has been over a week and still no response. My neighbor who I assured Rochester Lawn Care would take care of us has also sent his complaints via email and he has heard nothing back.

My second issue was today 01/2/14. There was 12 inches of snow in our driveway when my wife arrived home from a long commute tonight at 6pm. While our driveway was plowed for her departure this morning at 5 am there was no plowing throughout the day to stay ahead of the accumulation forcing my father in law to snowblow the driveway this evening since I am out of town. As you can imagine he is a great guy, but this is gonna cost me if you know what I mean.

Good luck to others, but I would recommend going elsewhere.

They have been working mowing lawns for us for about 2 or 3 years. Last week they hit my kid's playground and I was amazed at how they were professionals and honest in trying to fix it and keeping great communication with us.

Not impressed at all. They have put holes in my skirting twice in 2 weeks. Last year has broken a stone walkway because they ran over it with the rider mower. Was told i.have to fix it and then be reimbursed!!!! No they need to fix what they broke not me. When asked for the owners name and number was told she would talk to the GM not acceptable!!!!!

I would highly recommend Cook Outdoor Contracting. Communication is awesome! The guys did a great job removing my tree and cleaning up afterwards. Definitely a five-star company!!

After another contractor filled in our pool we needed Cook to come finish the top soil, and hydro seed. Ben and his team did an outstanding job!!! Did the job on the day they stated, and the price agreed to. They do very good work, making your project done the way they would want their house done. You will not be disappointed using Cook!!

Very efficient tree removal at a fair price. They also do great job with snow removal as I use them to plow my driveway. Also fairly priced per trip. Very pleased.

Great crew! Arrived on time and went right to work- trimmed several trees, ground down 4 stumps and left the yard clean of debris! I’ll give 6 stars if I could. Also reasonably priced- not cheap but very fair pricing, given the talented team and the awesome machinery they used. Very professional from start to finish. Hire them to improve the look of your property!!

This company did a phenomenal job for us! I can be somewhat picky and dont give five star reviews often. Cook removed a small tree, grinded two stumps, removed a stump, cabled and braced a tree and trimmed six trees all together. I was able to be home and interact with the team. They were polite, communicative and confident. Unbelievable professionalism and team work....all day! They cleaned up perfectly and the yard looks better than it did before they came. I got other quotes for the job but Cooks quote was competitive and fair. Better than I expected. Highly recommend!

Ben and his team were terrific. Professional, timely, and respectful of my home and property. Cleaned up well and did a fabulous job, I would recommend Ben and his team without hesitation and will most certainly use them again! A+ job all around.

Ben Cook Outdoor Contracting, has provided excellent tree trimming work at our home in Webster. Their work was completed in one day. Their lift and heavy equipment is excellent and it uses rubberized tracks. Their estimate was excellent, all items listed individually, w/options, and they were the most competitive bid. The yard was untouched. The crews clean up was beyond excellent. As Ben stated “our goal is to leave your property in better shape than they found it.” The crew is very professional and courteous. We will definitely call them for the next outdoor project.

Ben and his entire crew were fantastic from start to finish. We had several companies come and see the job and give us quotes. One company said they wouldn’t do the job because their equipment would not fit in our backyard. Several quotes were similar to Ben’s but didn’t have the ability to select the different options, seeding vs sod for example. One quote was grossly underpriced, I wouldn’t consider it because I knew this was a bigger job. In the end, it really came down to price, professionalism, and reading some reviews.

The job: Remove debris (a lot of it) from the back yard, tear up slab of concrete where a two-car garage once sat; tear up the asphalt driveway that extended to the back of the property; haul everything away; remove existing lawn; bring in topsoil and regrade the back yard. Then the option of having them seed the lawn or put down sod. We decided to go with the sod option even though it was more expensive. We wanted it to look uniform and complete as soon as they finished the work, having a puppy we wanted the back yard accessible as soon as possible.

They scheduled us with an estimated three days, which I thought was aggressive, but they finished in just two days, partly because of the equipment, but mainly because his crew was organized, worked hard, and worked well together. Two days before the job started, Ben provided me with detailed instructions and information about what to expect, and at that late date I asked if he could lay conduit from the house to my new shed, and he said they could absolutely lay the conduit. He told me things that I never thought of, like RG&E would need to come and mark where utilities may be burried and that they would have big trucks and his own dumpster that can part in front of our house. I was very concerned about living in the city and parking, but they made it work!

After the project was completed, Ben followed up with me to make sure that everything was going well with the watering schedule that he provided and to make sure I was happy with the completed job.

As mentioned above, this transformation was completed in just two days; here are a few pictures of the before/after, they don't do it justice, but you get the idea. I highly recommend Ben and his team!

I would highly recommend Cook Outdoor Contracting, LLC. This impressive young crew led by Ben(owner) were very professional, energetic, hard-working, and timely. I had a maple tree trimmed and a very mature maple tree that was tucked in between houses taken out. I was concerned about the fences being disrupted while the trees were being serviced, but the equipment they used was perfect, the fences were not an issue at all. They cleaned up well also!

From start to finish, our experience with Ben Cook and his crew was fantastic. Ben is extremely personable and super responsive to texts and emails. His crew arrived on time and completed two days work in only one! The entire crew was friendly and professional, listened to all concerns and invited our input. When finished, except for the missing limbs and trunks, one could barely tell they were here at all. They did an incredible job cleaning up.
