Brent Conley and the folks at Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Rochester did an amazing job replacing my dated outdoor lighting with a fantastic project that really illuminates my home, and pond better than I expected. They are very flexible and easy to work with and I'm happy with the end result.

The quality of the work and attention to detail really stand out. The lighting design enhances our property beautifully and completely transformed our outdoor space. The crew was punctual, respectful, and left everything clean and spotless when the job was done.

I had a very disappointing experience with this irrigation company, mainly due to a lack of professionalism and rude communication from the owner.

After moving into my new home, they winterized my very complicated large system and mentioned there were breakages, saying they would sort it out in the spring. During the spring turn-on, I was then told there were “wiring issues” and that not all zones could be checked. I will say the technician on site was professional and nice, but the follow-up from ownership was not.

I asked for a simple follow-up email outlining which zones were tested (of course I would like to know if 90% of the zones were tested w no issues or maybe just 10%), what issues were found, and more information on the wiring. Instead of providing that, I was told vague answers and told I was confused - which I found dismissive and unprofessional.

Communication from the owner was mostly by short, unfriendly texts. After I expressed that I was unhappy and asked for the owner’s email, she called me. During that call, I was interrupted, spoken down to, and even mocked for not knowing how many zones my system has—which is exactly why I hired a professional for a home I just moved into and have zero experience with a technical 1 acre system.

The conversation became so argumentative that I ultimately had to hang up. I even had to say several times excuse me, but the customer is always right and I’m trying to ask you questions and you’re interrupting me.

I was simply asking for basic transparency on the work performed. Unfortunately, that was not provided, and the overall experience was very frustrating. This company has a lot to learn regarding customer service.

Brian, the service technician, arrived precisely on time. He carefully assessed the damage done by my lawn service and then replaced and/or repaired the affected parts. He then retested the system thoroughly. A job well done.

Chris and the team from Flower City Irrigation have been Professional, Courteous and Timely in all the work they have performed for me.

Last week I had a sprinkler system installed at my home and I must say the entire experience was nothing short of terrific. Chuck, Jeff and the other guy (forgot his name) did a fantastic job. They were kind, professional and very patient when it came time to showing me how to program it. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to put the hose and sprinklers away, FOREVER:)

Had new Rainbird Irrigation system installed end of past season, crew came out early Spring for final tuning. Ran system all Spring and Summer w zero issues, green grass everywhere as promised. FCI did a fantastic job w little to no yard damage, reasonable price as well and great crew (nice guys too). Highly reccomended!

Our landscaper recommended Flower City Irrigation. Chris patiently answered our questions and accommodated my husband’s special plumbing request. The system has been easy to use and it’s wonderful that it can be operated from an app on my phone. We’ve been so pleased we’ve had Flower City Irrigation come back and add additional irrigation heads to extend the area covered by our system. We use Flower City Irrigation for spring and fall maintenance of our system too.

Flower City Irrigation installed a new irrigation system at 211 Salmon Creek Dr. The installers showed up exactly when they said they would and they were very professional and hard working. They set up the app on my phone and reviewed with me how the system worked. When the job was completed you barely could tell they were there because there was no damage to the lawn. Great job

Stop reading this and schedule your appointment! I hired FC Irrigation and was nervous about my established lawn and landscaping. I asked several times if I was going to need to seed and rehab my lawn post installation. I was assured each time that there would be little evidence the system was installed. The first day of installation came and when I got home I didn't think the crew did any work. Upon further inspection, the entire front yard was installed and the ONLY evidence I could see were the sprinkler heads poking through the ground. I was AMAZED! I assumed I would not be able to mow my lawn for a few weeks until the trenches settled, but I mowed that weekend. The system comes with a control box inside for easy use as well as an app to control from anywhere. I can create any type of schedule I want. I an a very happy customer.

From start to finish the crew was polite, professional, and prompt. I would highly recommend. Great Job!

Ontime Handyman& Construction Services is the reason there needs to be more strict regulations on "contractors". Barry Traub thinks he can continually cut corners and act unprofessionally without any legal repercussions. He co-mingled funds, didn't complete jobs he was paid for and ignored phone calls. I should have listened to the other negative reviews on him before! He comes across as a decent guy, but when it comes down to it he is extremely conniving!

I called from Chicago for some work on a home we were purchasing near UofR as a rental. Barry Traub answered his phone (first test of a contractor, even when busy!), showed up (second test of a contractor!), documented an estimate (third test), and worked with us on the initial project. We We're pleased enough to ask him to help with several other things we discovered as we went along. His knowledge and experience with a wide array of services (electric, plumbing, appliances, cement, insulation, painting) we helpful to us, instead of calling different contractors for each job. He was able and willing to do most work, but also professional enough to know his limits. When we found foundational masonry that was supporting the walls, he suggested an experienced mason to call. His price was reasonable, and his work was solid. As with most things, if you are looking for a work of art then hire an artist not a contractor. But if you need repairs done on time, for a reasonable price, and with confidence, give Barry Traub a call. No regrets here!

I had hired Barry to put in a new kitchen sink,faucet and a disposal. I called on a Monday he came and gave me an estimate on Tuesday. Wow. Then after a very reasonable price he started the job on Wednesday and was done that day. That’s what I call service. Barry was very polite and neat he explained everything he was going to do and he did an amazing job. I will call him first before anyone else if I need work done around the house.

Barry has been my "go to" handyman for about 6 years. He's rebuilt a deck, done plumbing repairs, roof work, and the biggest project - remodeled my whole kitchen after I gutted it. He works with me to keep costs down, and quality up. Sometimes he is not very detail oriented when working with smaller projects, but can recommend people who can do the job better, and will always listen to your opinion if you offer it. I've been reading a few reviews that all were written about the same time (2013) and saying the same thing, that he drinks on the job and misappropriates funds, those reviews appear to be written by the same person, who I believe must have a grudge or something, because the handyman I know and have worked with extensively isn't at all like that.

Assessed job quickly, provided estimate and completed work during the same day. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
