We've used Davey tree for years, and they helped remove a large number of dead/sick ash trees from the property. We've also used them for mulching and some spring cleanup and have been very happy with their work.

Davey Tree and Caryl have cared for our trees and shrubs for the better part of 10 years and we are completely happy with their work. Caryl and his team are professional, knowledgable and polite. What more could you want?

I was having problem with my tree, found little bronches on the driveway every day, I though that my tree was dying , I call a arbolist from Davey tree , who give me diagnosis with need to inject some fertilizer, coute $1,400. But I was wonder why only was happen at day time , findings out that they were the squirrel cutting the brunches, my tree was fine I almost pay for unnecessary work and they are supposed being expert in tree??

Large tree fell on our house, our home insurance used Davey for the tree removal. They we're very responsive and quick to remove the tree. Everyone was courteous a great to work with. I would highly recommend their services.

Davey was our third and final quote for tree removal. The employee came out on a Wednesday and we were told he wanted his coworker to take a look that Friday, and by the end of that day we would have a written quote. This was mid may and it is almost July. We never received a phone call, a follow up email or anyone else stopping over to our property. Even if their quote wasn’t going to complete with the other two we received, a simple phone call or email would have been common courtesy. I waited so long to post this review to see if MAYBE we would be contacted... nothing. The gentleman that stopped by was very kind while he was here, I did not expect to be forgotten about. Very unhappy, very unprofessional, and we will be letting others know of our experience.

The Davey Tree website is plain awful for trying to send a message. This is indicative of trying to reach anyone in the local office by phone. Hard to get call backs and the message center doesn't allow you send a message. otherwise, the site is fine for viewing information.

Caryl to the rescue. Leaves look stressed, bugs on the underside, trees need a trim, you name it and Caryl at Davey Tree has got the answer, the expertise and the crew to make the magic happen. Thanks Caryl.

We have used Davey Tree Co. the last several years for tree and lawn service. They recently removed a tree and planted a new one for us, and our lawn has never looked better. They are very knowledgeable, prompt and professional.

This is the most irresponsible company I have ever dealt with. They do not stand behind there mistakes. I had a tree taken down in my front yard. They had a truck here to cut from the top. The two guys didn't feel like using it. So they cut the tree at the stump. It fell across my beautiful all sod lawn. They then proceeded to drag the tree across the lawn leaving ditches in the sod. They would only replace the pieces they wrecked. The lawn now looks horrible and is 2 different colors. They will not respond to my complaint. Will be calling corporate on Tuesday. Replacing the lawn will cost 3k. A lot less then a lawsuit. Do not use this company in Rochester NY.
So fair is fair. After threatening with a lawsuit Davey Tree ended up standing behind this issue and reimbursed me for my lawn.

More than twenty years ago Davey Tree Service was recommended by a friend If ever I needed someone reliable. My friend was right on point. Davey's Tree Techs showed on time, did a great job and cleaned up the mess. My mature trees look healthier and our home has a much better curb appearance. Take a useful piece of wisdom. "Need help with your Tree, Call Davey."

Davey Tree was really a pleasure to work with. They were very responsive right from my first inquiry, completed all work in a timely manner, and were professional, meticulous and reasonably priced. It was a great experience and I would definitely use them again.

Lawn care is outstanding! Our lawn is the best it has ever been and we are extremely pleased. I credit most of this to Gil who takes pride in his work and is extremely efficient, professional and customer oriented. We were impressed from the first meeting when Gil reviewed our property lines and discussed our needs. I highly recommend Davey Lawn Service!

Having commanded hundreds upon hundreds of soldiers and government workers during peacetime and wartime I understand the need to have great employees. Far too often when we receive great service we seldom if at all acknowledge that service and that or those people. Thus the following:
Yesterday your technical person Lois arrived to perform her job of taking care of my trees and bushes as I paid for. I spoke to Lois and she was both present and friendly and informed me that she was going to take a look around prior to her performing her duties. Upon her inspection of my trees and bushes she handed me her paperwork and mentioned that she found some "wooly adelgids (SP) and I asked if she was going to spray for that and she stated yes and off she went. A few times I watched her work and she was attentive, focused and seemed to know exactly what she had to do. Unfortunately this quality and work ethic is seldom found in today's world and so I want to tell you how glad I am to have Lois perform work for me and please have Lois's supervisor know that this customer is very pleased that Davey has Lois as an employee. I look forward to other of Davey's employees to match Lois's outstanding workmanship when my other scheduled services are performed. I am sure that they will but tell them Lois has set the bar pretty high!

Caryl Peck has always been like a trusted neighbor -- excellent and trusted quality service -- Davey Tree is top notch.

The Davy company is reliable and professional. The team did an excellent job, followed all directives, leaving attractive, well-groomed plants and shrubs.

A few years ago this would have been 5 stars. Recently communication has been uneven and unreliable. Waiting for account statement after several weeks/requests.

They did a good job of helping their employees become better neighbors. Very deft touch, I observed one good man named Carl use his expertise as an arborist to help others for free. Very pleased with how this company grows and improves like the trees it cares for.

The QR code renewal process takes quite a bit more time and inclined for errors(typing on a tiny keypad with one finger…). It is also difficult to retrieve.

I've had a wonderful experience working with arborist Matthew Teague. He has exceptional knowledge of tree care and helped me identify health issues with our hemlocks and long-term maintenance for our other trees.

He's repeatedly shown a genuine concern for ensuring we can maintain the health of our trees to ensure we can enjoy them for years to come. Plus, he consistently found us better prices than their Rochester competitors (trust me, I checked). Super happy with Davey's and can't wait until Spring when we get to plant some new plants with Matt's guidance.

And let me tell you - their pruning and tree removal crews are just as great. Nate and Shane were true professionals and managed to take down trees that were in a VERY tricky location on our property. They cleaned up everything afterward really well and the cutting was just immaculate. I told Matt after- I trust this crew with my life ;D lol. But seriously, couldn't be happier. These guys all need a raise. Bravo!
