Webster, N.Y. here. Davey does such a great job every time they come out. We recently had several trees removed. The crew painstakingly worked around all of the plants under the trees, left the site in perfect shape, and overall went the extra mile. Awesome crew, including Shane Trost, Dan Fruend, and Jacob Avery. Shoutout to my key contact at Davey, Matthew Teague, an expert I’ve really come to trust.

Caryl Peck at Davey has been my go to guy for some time now. Does a great job. Davey is an excellent company to work with. Work done as promised.

Had three large trees dropped and removed. Removal and cleanup crew was great, but removal damaged adjacent tree, severing the leader. Follow-up was disappointing in that it didn’t happen. Wouldn’t use again and can’t recommend.

Caryl Peck at Davey Tree is great to work with. He is professional, pleasant to work with and is fair with his quote for lawn care.

We have been using Davey Tree for a multitude of services on our property for the past couple years and have always been pleased with the outcome. Matt is our go-to arborist for any tree and shrub concerns. He is always prompt, personable, and extremely knowledgeable.
Dan, the specialist who actually treats our trees and shrubs for any insects/diseases is excellent! He is also prompt, personable, knowledgeable, and very careful. Both Matt and Dan are patient with our concerns and questions and explain any recommended treatments in detail. Our extensive wooded grounds have been greatly improved under their care.
We recently had some very delicate and precise tree trimming completed by Davey. It was amazing to watch Gable and Drew climb the huge Spruce trees surrounding our house and deck. They carefully cut and lowered several large branches without any damage to the Rhodo bushes and rock walls below. They, like Matt and Dan, were great to interact with, completing the work to our expectations.

On August 28 a fantastic crew from Daveys came at 8:00 o’clock to remove debris left by a fallen branch. Very large!! These guys were extremely efficient and did an amazing job… they cleaned up the mess! Quickly and were very personable.and polite Matt who approached me to set up the paper work and explain how the work would go also was wonderful!!! We are always so pleased with the work that Davey has done in our yard. The tree work is exceptional as well as the clean up. We are included in the planning and everything is explained. Matt, Martin and Randall were all excellent to work with! Matt helped me make a plan for a low maintenance but beautiful landscape around my house. Martin and Randall did an amazing job pulling out 8 years worth of roots and old plants and even uncovered a patio walkway. Can’t say enough good things These guys worked so hard and transformed my overgrown neglected yard in one day. My neighbors are also thankful that they don’t have to look at it anymore! Highly recommend!!

Caryl Peck at the Davey Tree Expert Company in Rochester, NY has helped us by arranging several tree removals, tree trimmings, and application of treatments to help keep our Rochester property beautiful and safe. I met with Isaiah about having some tree work done on my property after seeing what a great job your crew did for my neighbor just weeks prior. He was very polite, knowledgeable and gave a very fair price.

On the day scheduled to do the work Nate, Mason, and Nick arrived early, early is on time in my world, and ready to get to work. They asked me what my expectations were and they agreed and also offered a couple great suggestions. They really have the trees best interest in mind, they don't just start cutting limbs away. I showed them the cooler I made available for them full of ice and sports drinks and they couldn't have been more thankful.

Thank you Isaiah, Nate, Mason, and Nick - you made this a great experience and I couldn't be happier with the outcome!!!

06/05/2024 - One of your crews was doing some work for my neighbor and I just wanted to say how professional and courteous they were when I asked a couple questions. It was pretty warm so I gave them a bunch of bottled water and they were very appreciative.

We are so pleased with Davey Tree services!
They have been helping take care of our property for several years now. Everyone we have worked with has been friendly, personable, knowledgeable – and excellent at what they do.
Matt Teague, the arborist, is our initial point of contact and is always responsive and helpful.
Dan Reyes, the person assigned to manage and maintain our property, is wonderful to work with when dealing with any tree and shrub problem, fertilizations, and deer control. He is patient, very precise and successful with all his treatments.
Just this week, December 8, 2022, Thomas was here to climb and trim a HUGE Maple tree on a slope in our backyard (see photos). The Maple limbs had to be tied, then cut and lowered to prevent damage to other pine trees and shrubs below. It was amazing – and impressive – to watch their careful process.
Thomas worked with Matt and Mason to control and pull the branches as they were cut. Great teamwork!
We already have Davey Tree scheduled for additional work in spring. Everything from tree and shrub spraying/fertilization and additional tree trimming. We’re not sure how we would be able to manage our property with the Davey Tree team!

Once again Davey Tree was here for additional tree trimming on our property. Amazing work! Davey personnel are the absolute best tree climbers and pruner/trimmers. The guys doing the work this day were Nate, Solen, and Will. They worked together like a well oiled machine. All three were personable, knowledgeable and very careful. It was tricky and delicate work.
One Birch tree that needed pruning was hanging over a big pond, and all the others were huge spruce and pines with many dead and broken branches hanging over our roof and a large hedgerow of Rhododendrons. As you can see in the attached pictures, the climbing was accomplished with ropes, not spikes! All the debris was cleaned up and taken away. Once again, we are very pleased with Davey Tree!

had Daniel out this past April to quote me for treatment of some trees. I received an email with the quote and told him I couldn’t do at that time but would contact him when ready. I never contacted him but someone came out in September and treated my trees without my consent. Thenwas sent a bill for $594! When I protested this bill, I was told an email notification was sent to me that they were coming to service trees. I did not receive an email and obviously did not respond to say yes to the service. This is terrible business practice!

Davey Tree's sales rep- Matt Teague, has been extremely responsive and helpful to us as we have worked with him over time to develop & execute plans to address our landscape needs. He is so very knowledgeable about every aspect of landscaping. Also, Davey Tree's team of tree removal experts (CJ, Solen & Jacob) did an outstanding job over the past couple of days, in removing 10 extremely tall pine trees that were situated across our backyard. We were so impressed by how skilled CJ was in safely climbing, cutting them down in sections and then safely and successfully dropping all of the major tree trunks into a very narrow corridor that we had back there. And the team also did a great job at removing all of the debris. Davey Tree will be back next week to grind the stumps and help with landscaping renewal in that area. Bob & Lisa Lelio, Webster NY

Davey is wonderful - responsive, detailed, communicative and experts at what they do. Caryl Peck was so helpful and very responsive. He got in touch with us immediately and was able to have the work scheduled and completed very quickly. I would not consider working with another tree service.

Being new to the area, we were not aware of the damage that grubs can quickly do to a lawn. In April of 2024 approximately one third of our lawn was dead with mostly weeds remaining. One local "lawn specialist" told us we would need to replace the lawn. Luckily we met with Davey arborist Matt Teague. He carefully inspected our lawn and plantings and developed a care plan for restoration of the lawn. Matt was incredibly knowledgeable and professional and the results this spring are excellent! All the Davey crew members were great to work with, always taking care and pride in their work. We can highly recommend Davey Tree expert services!

While trimming a neighbors yard was able to fit in my tree needs last minute. Very professional and polite crew, highly recommend!
