My furnace was noisier than usual when running so I made an appointment for a tuneup. The Hopenergy tech arrived within the estimated time frame and did a thorough job. The problem was resolved and my system is now running smoothly. The tech was courteous and made sure I was satisfied with his work before he left.
HOP/Kaufman Fuel company customer service is really a customer abuse operation. They schedule service appointments without ever meaning to keep them. What they keep is your service contract fees. This amounts to several hundred dollars that they pick out of your wallet. They have your money. You are left holding the bag. So customer services responded with their feigned shock and surprise. Yet there's no contact person, or extension number. Just a customer "service" dept. It's a mystery how to get anything resolved with this HOP/Kaufman outfit. Customer service availability is inconsistent and changes often. I've made a BBB complaint. BBB wants me to make a consumer affairs complaint too. My money remains in HOPs pocket. No services done/performed. They only pretend to care. They continue to abuse their "customers" in this way ! I want out of anything having to do with HOP/Kaufman. Beware...let the buyer beware of HOP !!
Miserable and unacceptable customer service. I had a maintenance appointment scheduled for December 5, 2024. They emailed the morning of and said they had to cancel. I got on the phone immediately and tried to get another appointment. The earliest they said they could accommodate was February 6. I took the appointment as i had no other choice. They emailed the morning of Feb. 6 and said they had to cancel again. I was able to reschedule the appointment for Feb. 14. Beginning on Feb. 6 up until today, I've spoken with (5) different Customer Service rep's and requested to speak with a Dispatch / Customer Service Manager. EVERY time, I'm put on hold for 30 seconds, and the reply is "unfortunately no one is available". I'm sure they are busy, and I know the weather on the East Coast has been rough. Regardless, they are loosing me as a customer, and I will do everything I can to let others know that they should take their business elsewhere.
Had to call because I had a problem with my bill. Spoke with Jodie. She was awesome. Helpful, Professional, Knowledgeable, Polite, and Nice to work with. She was able to help me with my problem.
This is a great company. The technician, Bobby, came out & cleaned my oil heater very thoroughly. I didn't get a notification as to what time he was coming out that day but he came in the morning and he didn't rush through the work at all. I appreciate him and the terrific job he did. Thank you!!!
