The technician that came out today to help us with our ongoing problem was Matt, he was so kind and explained everything we needed to know in great detail. He definitely went the extra mile for us and we appreciate his services and determination to get our toilet issues resolved. He even talked with my mom on the phone so she could understand as well. Overall, wonderful experience.

Had a backup of my main drain in the basements due to roots/dirt. They were available for same day service. The plumber was friendly and I trusted that he knew what he was doing. Ended up being a big job with a ton of roots to remove. The plumber did great. He offered some repair options for $2-3k on top of the $781 cleanout, which I don't have the budget for at this time so had to decline anything beyond the basic cleanout. (Found a coupon for $75 off the cleanout service, so definitely check for an online coupon.) Other plumbers I've used for main drain cleaning cost around $500-$550, so be aware that j&j is really pricey. Just like other plumbers, they require a visit to inspect the problem before giving you a quote. For j&j it was $69 for the on-site inspection, which was comped since I went with them for the service. Overall I would say j&j does good work and would consider using again, but I could only recommend them to others if price really isn't a consideration. I docked 2 stars only because of their very high pricing; nothing to do with quality of the work.

Jeff was professional, prompt and honest. He found the source of the leak quickly and provided a solution. Unfortunately the price was a bit too high, but would absolutely call Jack and Jill again. Highly recommend!

kyle was my plumber. He did a great job. He was courteous and respectful, a pleasure. He got the work done quickly and accurately. I think the price was a little high but I did get good service, it was fast, and the job was done correctly. Would use them again.

Jack & Jill is very reliable and they always do a great job! They came out a day after I called. Jon is extremely nice—he worked quickly, documented everything, took photos, & he genuinely seems to enjoy his job. I very much appreciate them!

Matt G was absolutely amazing during one of the most stressful situations I’ve dealt with. Our sump pump failed, the crock overfilled, and my entire basement flooded with about 2 inches of water. I was completely overwhelmed, but Matt was the sweetest, most helpful person I could have hoped for. He was calm, reassuring, and incredibly knowledgeable, and he truly went above and beyond to help us. He made a really bad situation feel much more manageable, and I’m so grateful for his support. I can’t recommend Jack & Jill enough!

Our technician Matt did a great job. We needed a new waterline for our fridge. He explained the work he was going to be doing and the reasoning behind it. He was in and out quickly and did the job right. What he’s not in control of are the prices of this plumbing service, which are astronomical compared to other plumbers in the area. I’d recommend going with GT Campbell Plumbing as I’ve found them to do work just as well as J&J with much fairer pricing. Again Matt was great but the pricing is just out of control for this part of the country.

Quick, friendly, knowledgeable. Miles diagnosed the blockage and hydro jetted the roots out. Taken care of in only a few hours. Prompt, efficient. I would recommend for plumbing issues in Rochester NY. Great website, too, the mark of a company that cares about its work and customers. 6 stars for Myles!

I did not have any work done by them — I only requested a quote. I’m sure they provide quality service, but I asked for an estimate to install a drop-in kitchen sink and was quoted $2,000. I was shocked. I expected it to be somewhat expensive, but still reasonable for the scope of work.

To clarify, the $2,000 did not include the sink, drain, or faucet — I already had all of those ready for installation. That price was strictly for the labor. In addition, they charge a $70 fee just to provide a quote if you decide not to move forward with them, which they say will be “waived” only if you accept their estimate. Many companies offer free quotes, so this felt excessive.

Overall, the pricing seemed very high and gave the impression that they nickel-and-dime customers. I hope others are aware, because you can get the same quality work for much less. I ultimately hired Nichols Electric and Plumbing, and they completed the exact same job for $1,000.

**In response to companies reply, I want to clarify a few inaccuracies. During my conversation with the plumber, I was explicitly told that no warranty would be provided because I was supplying my own sink and faucet. Additionally, I was informed that the work could not be completed the same day, which directly contradicted what I was told when I initially called for an estimate.

As for the claim that a diagnostic fee was “waived,” that is difficult to reconcile with a $2,000 quote for installing a drop-in sink and faucet—especially when that price did not include the sink, drain, or faucet.

I stand by my original review, as my experience does not align with the statements made in your response.

Jordan came out today to do the work on the tub. He was very nice and did great work. He cleaned up everything after he was finished.

Matt, who came out initially to give me a quote was also very kind, told me exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost.

EXCEPTIONAL customer service! The best I've experienced in my 73 years. Kyle and Jeff were gracious and friendly, but also very professional. My hot water tank went out on the holiday weekend with a house full of out-of-town family and they replaced it immediately and took care of a couple of minor plumbing issues while they were here. Very quick, very clean (not a scrap of paper or drop of water left behind!) and carefully explained how all the new features worked.

Michael is the best plumber i have ever had. I needed a new water heater installed. He came in a timely fashion. He was professional and courteous. Price was reasonable. He went above and beyond to help me! Would highly
recommend!

Myles was great! Professional, friendly, diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem!
He arrived hours after our initial call, identified the issue and came back (with the necessary part) and left us good as new… all within 24 hours! We are very pleased.

Jack and Jill exceeded expectations yet again. Hot water in one bathroom wasn't working due to continued frigid temps. Called and preemptively scheduled an appointment for Monday just in case the issue didn't resolve itself over the weekend. Jeff was prompt, polite and quick with his work. It was determined that we needed heat wrap on our pipes that are in a crawl space. He was through and explained everything in detail and made sure the hot water was working before he left.

Could not be happier with level of service, quickness of service and peace of mind. Will 💯 use again and refer people to.

Matt came as scheduled, gave a very professional and thorough explanation of the problem I was having and the suggested solution, and was able to address my problem very quickly and inexpensively. I will call Jack And Jill again and request Matt!

Our sump pump was backing up into our basement sink, which then was overflowing into the basement. We called Jack and Jill plumbing and they were at the house quickly. The technician Jordan was amazing and explained all of our options. He was joined by another technician Cayden with the Jet cleaner and was able to fix the problem right away. Both technicians were friendly and worked efficiently to get the job done. All work was explained and potential futures issues were discussed. I felt confident and comfortable throughout the whole interaction. We will use them in the future.

We had Anthony come out today and he was great. He took his time to explain everything, He gave us options for service, And then did a great job with the work. They were also very easy to schedule with and had great communication. Highly impressed with our first time using them.
