A quintessential family-owned garden center. I worked here as a teenager and to this day it was one of my favorite jobs ever. I still try to make the trip out here to browse their amazing tropical plant selection. They have extremely knowledgeable staff and always seem to hire amazing people.

I can always count on Bristol’s for a friendly face, a unique and extensive plant selection, and staff who truly know their stuff!

They have a huge selection of plants and flowers in their large, spacious facility. It's beautifully organized and everything is so well taken care of. Very easy access right off the main road, definitely worth checking out if you are driving through the Victor area.
My girlfriend and I always stop by on our way out to the Mall.

My significant other was fired while on paternity family leave. I just thought customers should know about the way this business treats their employees. Maybe you noticed the nice friendly man who used to work in the back is no longer there. He does appreciate his customers and especially the houses he delivered to thank you all for being kind to him.

I will edit the post to include that despite the business's response my significant other had about 2 weeks left of paternity leave that was to be taken within the next month. He did not take it all at once. And despite the business's response he did not receive a performance review or was not informed of said review as he was on paternity leave. He attempted to go to work the day after his paternity leave ended and was told to go home for good.

Everyone who knows my SO knows that he is very kind gentle and trusting. The Business could call him and apologize for the way they treated him leaving him out to hang with a newborn child and perhaps that will change this review.

The woman in the Tropical House was very friendly and helpful. The outside staff not so much. Trying to talk to the guys about shrubs and it seemed like I was bothering them to find out what they had and what offerings they suggested. Kind of pushed me off so I decided to go buy elsewhere.

I’ve tried to like this place and have given them my business for the past two years. No more. This year I spent a lot of money here. A few days ago I went to return a small pot because it didn’t fit a plant that I bought, also from there. They wouldn’t take my $10 return even with a receipt, because it as “used”. I mean, come on. Home Depot will let you return a plant that you pulled from the ground one year later. I expect a lot more service from a mom and pop store, especially since I am a regular customer. Taking my business to Wayside and Oriental Gardens from now on.

I'm updating a previous review that I posted. After posting a 3.5 star review of this place, I was approached by one of their team members and she asked how they could improve my experience there. It was nice of them to ask--it shows that they want to improve their business. The nursery has a good selection of plants, especially native species. The prices are on par with Wayside and Oriental Gardens. My earlier complaint which I need to clarify is not that the customer service is bad, there just isn't enough people on the floor. There's usually 2 people there who are consistently helpful and they're knowledgeable about plants, but everyone else don't really seem to be engaged with customers. Seems that they hire a lot of high school or college students for the season but it would benefit them to have more people around that know about plants and are willing to help customers. I'd like to give them 5 stars one day because I think they could be a very good nursery.

I've been to Bristol many times and spent thousands here over the years. I’m updating my review for a more long term perspective. After they casually drove a truck across my front yard for the second time in 2 years leaving a 6-8in deep rut directly in front of my entrance I was only disappointed in myself for continuing to go there. The first time they damaged my property they pretended like it didn’t happen and drove away. If you value your gardening, respect for property and professionalism, I would strongly advise going elsewhere. I previously contacted the manager who did not send someone to repair the damage. Never again.

Bristol has become a haven for me in these crazy times. As a new houseplant addict I have to say this is my favorite place to get my plants. They are healthy ,reasonably priced (for plants AND planters) and they always have something interesting. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I will give you all a heads up they have 2 amazing parrots that like to remind you they are there. Rio and I chat whenever I visit so this is a plus for me but don’t be surprised if you hear a loud squawk as you shop :)

Beautiful selection of flowers, houseplants, and pots. Prices are a little higher but the quality is great

Bristol's is our favorite garden store. We have gardens full of unusual trees and shrubs that we purchased there. This year I asked one the employees for hummingbird plants and she recommended Black and Blue Salvia and Vermillionaire.
Today the hummingbirds arrived and went directly to those plants.
Both are beautiful and unusual. Thank you!

Buyer beware. Their "Nursery Guarantee" is very deceiving. I had a very sick hydrangea that did poorly all last summer. When it didn't revive this spring, I returned for replacement. Had the receipt and all instructions followed for returning. Jack said it "wasn't dead" and refused to replace it. I was a very loyal customer, spending hundreds of dollars a year. Won't be returning.
Thank you for your offer, but I am an experienced gardener that already spent all last summer trying to nurture that plant back to health. Just consider me a customer that is unsatisfied with your guarantee policy and will shop elsewhere in the future.

I'm a frequent visitor to Bristol's Garden Center, and every visit is a delightful experience. It's a wonderful place to spend an hour or so, wandering among the beautiful plants. What truly sets Bristol's apart is their fantastic team of employees who are always super friendly and incredibly helpful.

I'm an avid plant enthusiast, and Bristol's Garden Center never disappoints in terms of their plant selection. Living in this area, I'm always amazed at the variety and quality of plants they offer. In particular, I've purchased numerous carnivorous plants from Bristol's, and they're all thriving and growing happily.

As a personal favorite, I would love to see an even broader selection of carnivorous plants, especially Pinguicula. It's a fantastic place to explore and enhance your green space, and I highly recommend Bristol's Garden Center to all plant enthusiasts and nature lovers.

We went to Bristol’s for the first time! It was such a great experience! The entire facility is beautiful. Their plants are amazing and affordable.
We worked with Jack who guided us through the nursery to purchase a new tree!
He was Amazing! The entire experience was priceless!

Worked with Jack to pick out a new tree for my house. Ended up asking about bushes as he knew more than the Farmers Almanac. Ended up getting an October Glory Maple and will be installing it today! Thanks Bristol's!

Very nice selection of all things garden and landscape. Inside there’s beautiful houseplants, succulents, and cactus. They had many unique artsy planters. It’s a shop where you could find the perfect gift or a gift for yourself.

This place is huge! Their selection of succulents, trees, shrubs, flowers, veggies, etc is amazing. I went there for the first time and wandered around in awe for 20 minutes before I could gather myself to buy some things.

I’ll give credit where it’s due — they were helpful in selecting shrubs and trees, and they do have a good variety. I spent $460 just on shrubs and trees, then ordered mulch.

A worker told me “1.5–2 tons”. I ordered what I thought was 2 tons, but they delivered only 2 yards. Management denied anyone would ever speak in tons, refused responsibility, and I had to buy another 10 yards plus pay a second delivery fee (ANOTHER $75).

Then the delivery driver nearly ripped down the streets main power line by driving forward with the dump bed fully raised. I had to yell repeatedly and shout “cuidado” (since the driver was Spanish-speaking) to stop him before he caused serious damage and a massive insurance liability. When I called, the manager’s only response was, “Does your house still have power?” No apology, no concern, no accountability.

Good selection, but careless, unsafe, and dismissive customer service.

    ** UPDATE AUG 20th **
Your driver nearly ripped down a main power line, and I had to yell and speak Spanish to stop him — saving you from a massive insurance claim. Instead of accountability, you hide behind a nameless reply and cry racism. That isn’t customer service — it’s the definition of cowardice.

I love Bristol's in the summer for perennials, but this was my first holiday season visit. I had no idea they had such options. You can select greens to make your own wreath or garland, or buy premade at fair prices.

Such a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants! Great place. We will definitely be going back!

Fun place with a lot of friendly staff. Plants are beautifully cared for and they have some really fun and cute metal sculptures.

DO NOT BUY PLANTS FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A SPIDER MITE INFESTATION. They will sell you these infested plants and then refuse to take them back or refund even if you have your receipt and tags still. I recently bought an expensive Ivy plant from them and was horrified to see it had spider mites all over it. Luckily it was still in a quarantine period and hadn’t made contact with my other plants. I’m so disappointed in this company as I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here.

I purchased a very expensive house plant (alocasia) that they said required bright light and moderate watering, but they never told me that it was highly toxic to pets. My dog chewed a bit of a leaf the night after i brought it home, and soon experienced vomiting and difficulty breathing that lasted for several hours. No emergency vets are available anymore so i just prayed and waited. Thankfully, she recovered and is fine. However, I asked Bristol's to allow me to trade this plant for another non-poisonous plant of equal value. I didn't want my money back, just wanted to make a trade. They refused. The plant is now locked away in my guest bedroom out of reach of my beloved dog. Bristol's used to be my go-to nursery for flowers and plants. Never again.
