We contracted with Standard to built a fence, stain the fence, build a walkway, build a patio, and build two raised garden beds. Standard far exceeded all my expectations they truly turned our visions into reality. Standard's quality, value, responsiveness, and creativity is absolutely first rate. We highly recommend Standard.

Standard Construction and Landscaping does beautiful work! My husband and I visited their display, at the Home and Garden show, and were extremely impressed by all we saw, as well as the professionalism and knowledge of Peter and his team. We look forward to working with them more in the future.

Standard Construction & Landscaping designed and installed a expansive brick patio, pavilion, retaining walls, firepit, walkway, outdoor lighting design and drainage control for our home. They were professional, went above and beyond our expectations, and turned our maintenance HASSEL of a backyard into a dream scape. This company is quality. You’ll find none better. They do great work. They designed and built/installed a 3 level deck, paved courtyard, stairs, retaining walls and landscaping. I am constantly getting compliments from neighbors and people walking by. In fact, I’m told by neighbors that my property is referred to, amongst the neighborhood as “that house with all the beautiful landscaping.” That speaks volumes as to the quality of the design and installation.

We enjoyed working with Heather and Peter on our backyard deck extension and pavers. Our backyard was transformed by their design! Peter and I are working on the plans for our front yard and driveway. I can't wait for the transformation to start.

Relatively small job-- moving two large rocks to new positions in my yard. But Standard was willing to do it, gave me a fair price, and did the work literally almost immediately. No damage to the yard, placement exactly where I'd wanted, affable crew with a sense of humor. Happy customer and I'll keep them in mind for future work. Peter and his team at Standard Landscaping completed a wonderful patio for our back yard. It has made the space family friendly and enjoyable! We had some unique challenges with slope and trees, but Peter and team worked through those challenges and gave us great contacts for the areas that needed other expertise (tree removal, iron railing, etc.). I would definitely recommend Standard Landscaping and Construction.

Peter, Heather, & their crew were fantastic!
We used them to install an in-ground trampoline, in a way that was aesthetically pleasing and ensuring proper drainage. Peter was in communication providing updates every step of the way and even called a few days later to ensure everything was working out great. They took lots of pictures to keep us updated with progress on installation day too.
I am so happy with the final product and will definitely use them again for future projects!

Peter and his team did an extraordinary job of our small back patio. After doing research on around 5/6 construction companies we chose Peter because he spent the time to go through all details and made us feel comfortable with our investment. He showed us his portfolio of designs we were interested in and he even gave us great tips on what he thought would be great. His team completed the job on time and we were over the moon with the final product. This was completed around a year ago and it still looks awesome and brand new. Also, we never had any issues reaching out during the job and we were always greeted pleasantly by Heather his wife in the office.

I am so happy with how my small backyard has been beautified with the pavers, walkway and retaining wall that Peter and Heathers crew installed. They also installed black aluminum fencing, made great suggestions and took care of several extras that I requested. It was nice to see how their son Luke is also part of the business and they have a wonderful crew as well. After seeing much larger projects at two of my friends homes that they completed, I knew I had to call them when I was ready. Their work at my home has received numerous compliments from my neighbors as well!!

Standard did a large project that transformed our backyard into something that is far superior and beyond what we imagined could be done. We can and do spend a lot more time out there thanks to this work. Peter was a genius at creating a space that is practical and beautiful.

Peter and his team built us a beautiful back yard patio, firepit, adjusted our stairs to better flow, and finished an unfinished area in a 'crawl space' under our garage. They also graded the surrounding bit of property, managed various drainage issues (including moving various drain pipes and plumbing downspouts appropriately away from the patio itself).

The project was done on time, changes to the budget were clearly communicated and understood, and the team worked quickly and efficiently and were so thoughtful and careful with all of their work and how it impacted our lives and home.

I'll definitely work with Peter and his company again!

This is our second time working with Standard Construction on installing a patio, and we continue to be so pleased and impressed by the quality of work. We did a much bigger project the second time. Peter the owner is an excellent listener and does everything he can to deliver what we want while also offering suggestions for ways to make something even better. The guys working on the project are efficient, kind, and clean. Our backyard is visible to neighbors, and people are commenting every day on how great the new patio looks! We are so thrilled and have every intention of using Standard for our next pavilion/outdoor kitchen project!

When we were going into this backyard project we had no idea what to expect or what we needed to know and how to do it. Upon contacting Pete and meeting his team he was able to give me a plethora of options for our backyard. From his expertise on town codes and structural safety to his teams professionalism and beautiful craft we could not be happier. Standard construction took our backyard from a patchy clay mess and turned into a vacation spot we visit daily. And the best part was that all I had to do was provide Pete with a vision and his creativity took off and created something I would have never imagined.
