Home Services reviews in Apex, North Carolina

In the winter it closes at 4pm. Website hours do not update for this.
-
Well laid out. Easy in and out. Bins for all types of waste and recycling.
-
We have always received excellent service from the crews.
-
Strong help great site looking for trash around house just so I can dump again!!!!!!
-
Laid out real nice. Plenty of signs to let you know what to do. Everybody seems knowledgeable.

The correct address is 6300 Old Smithfield Rd, Apex NC 27539

Website says open at 7 yet they only accept old appliance at 8? Had to stay and wait for an hour. What a stupid hour of operation
-
it was alright, staff weren't very clear when giving directions and they confused themselves.
-
Very helpful staff who keep the lines moving. Convenient access. Hopefully they continue expanding! Thank you the value you provide for the community!

Absolutely the worst place in the world twice
I set in line for 2 hours each time. I really hate this place very unorganized the long lines and wait time is killing small companies -
Your trash has got to go somewhere and these people are under appreciated hero’s in fact last I heard tours are given check the schedule get your kids and learn something it’s part of a functional society i think they do a great job thank each of you at wake landfill
-
They continue to dump public dumpers between 2AM and 5AM. Terrible.
-
I never thought I'd say I enjoyed a trip to the landfill, but everyone there was nice, polite and helpful and the place is laid out well and tidy. Good job, and thanks for a pleasant experience.
-
I'm very impressed with the fact that the South Wake Landfill has its own electric power plant on site - powered by the methane produced by the buried debris. This electricity is fed back into the grid and actually makes money for the landfill.
-
One of the employees told me to throw a mattress into the dumpster "just so", and proceeded to complain about how I didn't listen to him, and that I was making his job hard when I chucked the mattress into the hole. Sir, you stand there and operate electricly powered trash compactors via push -button.

This place is a joke. Impossible to find a local number to tell them that for the 5th week in a row they missed mine and my neighbors trash, they don’t even have the correct website on this and they keep missing my pick up. It took them 3 tries, 3 weeks and 4 phone calls to get a new trash can thinking that might tell them to pick up my trash when they keep driving by. Looking to switch they do not have their act together.
-
Convenient! We've taken most of the debris from our remodel there and 9 times out of 10 there's been no line at all. Week days are better than weekends if you can.
-
Check the hours closely. Only household items you can be dropped from 7-4. Appliances, oil, hazardous materials, tires - the stuff I drive there for - is only open 8-4. Very inconvenient if you have to work and frustrating. It would not take a lot to have one employee assigned to validate drop off of those materials from 7-8.
-
Be careful when you go because not all parts have the same hours of operations. At least twice they've closed prior to posted closing time. Smells terrible frequently on various Holly Springs greenways, at veteran's and jones park plus nearby schools/daycares.

Been to this location several times in the 6 years I have lived in Apex. Always friendly and helpful. Usually in and out relatively fast. Thankful it’s there to help homeowners like me to clean house.

These guys are the best. The county does not pay them the most (all of us customers may make more) so they are putting themselves on the line for all residents of this area (always helpful to move heavy items and let us know when the items we have need to go elsewhere); hard work by hard working men (we need more of that today !)
