The gentleman came out because our heat was not coming on on the downstair, but coming on upstairs. He went into my attic & checked everything. But not good enough. He concluded that the problem was the thermostat unit itself was faulty.
It was going to cost $407 to replace the thermostat (that you can get from Lowes for $40+, but not $400). He said that no rewiring needing to be done. Just replace the thermostat; and move maybe a few wires. But no going into the walls or anything.
Only for us to discover that one pin (see pic) was bent. Mind you he looked at the unit & I am not sure why he didnt see the bent pin. Having him come out cost us $85. And we fixed the issue ourselves.
The pin is now straight and the heat is working. It was absolutely a waste of $85!!

Ronnie was very professional & knew the product well. He explained the difference between the units available & made it easy for me to understand the product. It was great working with him & I would highly recommend him to family & friends.

Recently rented a refrigerated Trailer .Edy the office manager was amazing …..They brought it to me and completely set it up and had me running in about 15 minutes. Edy jumped through hoops to get me exactly what I needed.The Guys that delivered and picked up were very knowledgeable to there duties showing me how to control the unit , even feeding the cord to plug it in the restaurant 100 feet away feeding it around sinks and equipment…… I Highly recommended Barber Refrigeration !!! Great Staff and Friendly service !!!! That Guys

I had a rather unpleasant experience with Barber Heating & Air. System was diagnosed on 09 Dec, 25 and parts were finally installed on 16 Dec, 25. My point is periodically there should been some updates in between, as cold as it was during these times. Finally service was restored and working fine. The answering service never had any information to share, which probably was to be expected. No criticism just points of view. Military discount $25.00 really. Not even worth it, but grateful just the same. Everywhere else, atleast 10% was offered for Veterans. In the end, you ask about the price paid, if the customer was really your priority, as your TV commercial indicate, then you'd consider the hardship of the customer with your delay in parts ordering.

Our motor went out on our furnace, so we had no air or heat. I called Barber, and was met with the best customer service. They had a service member come look at it the very next day (they offered same day, but I was busy), and again, I was met with the BEST customer service. The part was ordered right then, and came in the next day. The communication was phenomenal. Everyone that I spoke to/dealt with was so genuinely nice, and willing to help in any way they could. They earned a customer for life!!

As always, Barber Hearing provided great customer service. Dennis was very polite and provided an outstanding service. Took great care of our system. He has excellent attention of details.

We had ice forming on the shroud of the heat pump. Sounded like the fan was going to burn up. We called for service & they were on site well within the scheduled time. Ronnie was great. He inspected the entire HVAC system to confirm it was working properly. Very professional & quick to give us pointers on keeping it that way. 5 stars.

I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better experience. I woke up with the temp in my house being far too low for comfort. I called and they were able to schedule me for a visit the same afternoon. Not long later, I got a call back letting me know that a slot had opened up and they were sending someone over right away. The technician, Mike Parnell, got here quickly and got started right away. Once he discovered the issue, he took the time to explain it in a way I could understand then gave me several options for correcting the problem. 10/10 would recommend.

We got a whole new HVAC system from Barber a few years ago, and their upkeep and communication about maintenance has been reliable and thorough. I appreciate the professional practices they use, especially when it comes to alerting about appointments.

Cody came out and figured out what our problem was with our heat and air system. He was very nice, communicated well and gave good instructions on what our best options were. These guys are amazing and I would definitely recommend them.

Michael Pernell did a very extensive inspection of our HVAC system. He pointed out some issues and also repaired what he could. He also answered a lot of questions that we had. He was the best tech that we have had.

Johnathan was very helpful and patient. He explained what was going on and some basic information to me . Introduced membership to me but not pushed as sales… felt comfortable. I would recommend him to my neighbors and friends! Thank you

A homeowner’s worst nightmare is the smell of gas… and that’s exactly what happened. I immediately called the gas company and was red tagged for a leak. The next call was easy: Barber Heating & Air.
They had someone out almost immediately. My gut told me this wasn’t going to be cheap, how could it be with a gas leak? To my surprise, Barber Heating & Air came in far under what I had braced myself for. More importantly, they delivered honesty, transparency, and quality service when it mattered most.
They absolutely deserve the praise, and they’ll be my go-to for all future HVAC needs

Jonathan did a wonderful job. He took his time and went over the whole system. He is very knowledgeable of the furnace and all of its components. The company was reasonably priced and I would recommend them to everyone.

I have been using Barber Heating for about 2 years now. Each experience has been great! Their repair people are extremely knowledgeable and competent. I have a system that Barber didn’t install, but they have been great at troubleshooting issues I had and getting everything back in working order. I have their maintenance plan and it’s definitely worth it. If I have a problem, they come out quickly and I get a discount on the repair. With this plan, Barber Heating performs very thorough, proactive system checks twice annually. I highly recommend Barber Heating - Great service and fair prices!

The whole team was professional, respectful, and knowledgeable! Ronnie was fantastic when he came out, diagnosed our unit, and gave us replacement options. The office staff was great when we applied for credit for the new system. The most impressive part, however, were Aaron and Trent who were exceptional as they arrived early (calling ahead), tore out the old unit, installed the new unit, tested functionality, and explained everything to us all in less than 7 hours! I am HIGHLY impressed with this company, and their employees. Job WELL done!

Great service!! My heater stopped working the night before. I called and within the hour someone was at my house. Had to pay the after hours fee but definitely worth it because my heater was fixed that night and my family didn't freeze. It was going to be 10 degees that night. Definitely recommend. Super happy with the service

What can I say except Barber Heating and Air is Everything! Davin came out on slippery icy conditions and managed to do magic. He got my system up and running in no time. His professional knowledge and pleasant attitude definitely made me feel like we were in good hands.
