Called last night with an emergency: burst pipes in my basement. Left a message with a voicemail box that stated that messages are typically returned after 1 hour. Well... Over 24 hours later, and no return call. Pretty sad. Definitely won't waste my time with this company ever again 👎

They charge a flat fee to lure you in, then charge nearly $300 repair a $20 part! I'm a single mom, and need all I can get to pay honest bills and buy formula! I do not recommend, they are frauds! I was in a bind and they knew it! You shouldn't take advantage of people! I saw the item at lowes for $20.00! It took 15 minutes to fix!

The owners of this business are very rude. They chose to use a service and decided to cuss that person out. They showed their true colors while exhibiting a lack of tact, professionalism and overall decency as human beings! When people started going to facebook to ask why to warn others, they would remove the posts and reviews. Its sad because Angela Knapp is related to my other half by marriage. Its sad that people like that are people I sadly have to have a connection to on some level.

Do not!! Do not!!! Use this particular company. I recently brought a house. Well I had a issue with my drain line. Now I'm a commercial plumber so I went to lowes and brought pvc and ran a new drain to the foundation. At that time I could see the clog still in the cast iron underground. So I call mr rooter to jet out my line. Fisrt they charged 50 to come out then a additional 400 for service. Only reason I called them was because it was the Wednesday before Christmas. The guy came to jet the line and at that time I informed him to jet out both directions from the cleanout. He said ok.. I told him what work I had done. I went in the house came back and he was putting a camera in the drain. He showed me a few things on the screen. I then again asked did he jet towards the house. Again he said yes. Christmas morning my downstairs shower started backing up again. I go downstairs in the crawl space and loosen the fernco and guess what the clog is still there. So it caused me to start digging up my drain on Christmas day. Never have I ever felt so cheated.....

Arthur and Christan were very professional, on time, and very thorough of their job. They went above and beyond to make sure me and my husband were both satisfied with their work! If you can get Aruther and Christan to do the work they are amazing!

Couldn't have been more helpful. Instead of sending a plumber, (overtime!) the very friendly receptionist told me that I had done everything there was to do(for frozen pipes).
That is impressive in this day and age!
I will definitely call them with any future projects.

Good professional workmanship and attitudes. Had a new gas line installed for a gas range - not an easy install job, but it was done very well! Highly recommend this company.

We've dealt with low water pressure for too long. The technicians were great, got a new pressure tank installed and got it done efficiently. Super nice and informative folks.

Jason King came out to service a leaking pipe in our basement. He was kind, knowledgeable, and professional in every sense. This was the best experience I've had with any of my previous plumbing situations.

Woke up Sunday morning to no hot water, googled plumber near me and Mr. Rooter of Alamance county comes up. Called around 8am, they said they would have a technician out around 10:30-11:00 am.

Get a call around 11 from the tech, stated he was stuck on a previous job, would be about another hour before he could get out to me. At 12:30, another call, truck broke down, waiting on another one.

Tech shows up at 2:15, go with him under the house. Doesn’t look at anything other then the over fill tank and says it needs to be replaced and quotes me $1742.00.

I told him last time this happened it was just the element that needed replacing, he says it’s to old to replace them.

After he left, I made a few calls, texts and figured out I could probably fix it myself. I go to Lowe’s, bought $40 in parts and fixed it myself in 20 minutes.

Do NOT trust this company! He could have fixed it and at least gotten the service fee. Instead tried to take advantage of me!

Consumer BEWARE.

Technician came in looked under the house came back in and started accusing us of having unqualified people doing work on the plumbing in the last two years. I have lived in the house for 13 years and the only plumber that has been here is Mr. Rooter! Have a backed up kitchen sink. Mr. Rooter gave us an estimate of $560 six years ago to replace the pipes. Now I realize six years is a while, but after being attacked verbally for ten minutes by this tech I receive an estimate for $1729.04. Stay away from this company!

This is some of the best customer service I’ve received in quite a long time. Other businesses should take a page from this company’s book.

The 2 technicians that came were professional and well as pleasant. It took them no time to find the problem and correct it. They explained what the issue was and showed me where it was. I will definitely call Again if I have plumbing needs again.

Excellent service. Dwayne also took the time to explain the recommended water heater flushing procedure. I'd never heard about doing this procedure, but it's a good thing Dwayne mentioned it because it is especially important to periodically flush out the minerals that lodge in the heater from well water.

Came out and gave me a ridiculous quote for a Water heater replacement. Could not tell me what the charge was for labor or parts, just a total. Told me the tariffs were why it was so expensive. Tried to push financing options on me. Then threaten that if he left the 50 dispatch fee would not be able to be applied to my bill. Meanwhile I have gotten 6 other quotes now that were 25% cheaper on the high end. Do not call this company they will rip you off and try to strong arm you. Typical bottom line company, not customer focused.

I have used Mr. Rooter/Burlington. For several years. They keep fixing what my husband and the shoddy original plumbing installation mess up. They are always on time. Their estimates are correct or lower. They give me choices between repair and replacement when they can. They show me damaged items they are replacing so I know they need replacing. They always let me know ahead if electric or water has to be off and for how long. They clean up after themselves and don't leave a mess. They answer the phone outside Mon-Fri 8 to 5 office hours so I am assured when someone will come and what I need to do until they arrive.

These guys are extremely overpriced and want to do work that isn't necessary. We needed one element replaced in our hot water heater and they wanted to replace everything, quoting us $475. We also needed two faucets tightened and they quoted $200. I went with another company and had the element replaced and faucets tightened in less time than it took Mr Rooter to give me a quote... All for the grand total of $150. You do the math...

We were very impressed with Scott. He was efficient and clean. I loved the booties he wore in our house. He didn’t make a mess in our home. He was the best plumber I have ever used! He was very kind and professional.

Dwane was very efficient, knowledgeable, and understanding. Was a stressful moment in our household but for the time he was was there we felt completely at ease. Very helpful and appreciative for everything he did for us. Would definitely recommend

My water heater broke down on a Sunday night. I made an estimate request first thing in the morning the next day, and two gentlemen came before noon, made an estimate (which I agreed to) and replaced it same day. Everything went very smooth.

Decent guys, upfront pricing, great work. Couldn't have asked for more.

Mr. Rooter is a professional company providing great communication with their clients. They use parts that will last for a long time, and have extended warranties. You will pay more because of this, but it's worth every penny to me. I'm a long time customer, and will continue to use them. I've been satisfied with every job they have performed for me.
