Stephen and Dale showed up on time at my home today. They completed all the work as specified in their quote. Patiently answered my many questions and went over in detail all the work that was done - even uncovered and fixed an unrelated problem while here . Mister Sparky will not invoice for the final payment until AFTER the city inspection and sign off. Courteous, knowledgable and left the workspace cleaner than when they got here. Can’t ask for better than that!

The main office and scheduler was professional and friendly, and she was helpful getting an electrician out the following morning. Leo was timely and professional, and he spent the time to explain what he found (with pictures) and how he fixed it. I would recommend Mr. Sparky.

These guys are great! They're super knowledgeable and friendly. They diagnosed and fixed a not so obvious problem in about an hour, and they found and corrected a potential fire hazard. I'll call them again whenever I need electrical work done in the future.

*Edit to geek out over their website. It's a work of art, truly a delightful experience. I can't get over the "Don't Do It Yourself" section of their homepage. The context, the animation...it's brilliant.

Last night, a finicky, 27 year old GFI had finally given out, which was in the same circuit as my garage door opener and my tankless hot water heater. I called Mr. Sparky because they were local, and had impressive reviews. Rivers called me back shortly after speaking to dispatch, and while there was no one to come do the work at that time, he assured me that a tech would be at my house between 8 and 11 am the next day (today).

Using the process of elimination, I had narrowed it down to the GFI, which had been giving me problems earlier in the week with a motion detector floodlight installation on my back porch. Once John and Dale arrived, I shared the sequence of events, what had gone out, what I had tried (throwing switches, etc.), also that my house had been powerwashed that day, and they tested the outlets on the back porch and in the front of the house, only to find they were all on the same line. They also discovered that the GFI installed with my Rennai was battling for power (literally) with the older GFI.

Dale replaced the "problem" GFI, and I also had John install a whole-house surge protector (I was going to get one installed anyway). Now I have hot water (I could only avoid washing dishes for so long), can open the garage door, and this evening I will make sure my floodlights work.

I would definitely hire Mr. Sparky again (ya gotta love that name!), and John and Dale were nice fellows, professional and explained everything to me, which is much appreciated!

We had Mister Sparky come out for a 2nd opinion after another electrician charged us $100 to come out, investigate the problem, and tell us we needed to pay another $500+ for further diagnostics (which wouldn’t cover any needed repairs). The prospect was raised of possibly needing to rewire the whole house. When Stephen & Dale of Mister Sparky came out, they identified and fixed the problem (quickly, professionally and pleasantly) for less than $300, total. No “whole house rewiring” required; just needed to replace a broken light switch and blown receptacle. We definitely, and highly, recommend both the Company and the technicians. We will go to them first from now on.

John did a great job and was quite pleasant to interact with. He had to call in reinforcements because the job was so big and Alec helped out too. I did not want to replace all my receptacles and switches but since I had to, I'm glad I had mister sparky do it. I feel like they did a thorough job.

This was our 3rd time using Mr. Sparky. Very professional and explained what could be done and what could not without significant Sheetrock impact. That was very much appreciated. We had two outlets installed and they repaired an exterminator that was damaged earlier this week by the landscaper. Will look to use Mister Sparky in the future for our electrical needs. Would highly recommend!

Professional, Affordable, Safe service!!!! I had 2 pendant lights and 3 ceiling fans to install! They came in and provided a quote and then were prepared to install everything! They wore masks, gloves, and shoe coverings. They even cleaned up everything! Also, the company has a great referral plan... my neighbor referred them and she is receiving $25 and I received a $25 discount! I will use them again!

I loved the service. Gail was very pleasant to chat with when scheduling the appointment, and Stephen was prompt, friendly, and professional. I had a light fixture removed and he was in and out in a half hour. I will definitely be using Mr. Sparky again!

Great experience. Leo and a tech arrived promptly to install a new porch light for us. He installed the light quickly and cleaned up the area well when he was done. Highly recommended !!

Great service overall. The technicians were on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, and had fair prices. I also appreciated the techs wearing masks (my preference was asked in the initial appointment call) and foot covers. I'd definitely use them in the future

We hired them to install a fan about a year ago. After the install they realized the fan was defective. After we got a replacement from the fan company, mister sparky came back and installed the replacement at no extra charge. The service really was above and beyond! Stephen and his colleague were professional and polite. I will be using Mister Sparky for all of our electrician needs in the future.

They were on time, very professional, and very knowledgeable. Well dressed, used booties in the house, had ID with them and cleaned up after work was completed. They provided solutions to issues and fixed all items when they were here. Prices were presented upfront, included labor and materials and all was clear before they proceeded with the work. I would definitely contract with them again and recommend them to others. GREAT JOB GUYS!

Scheduling was easy. The technicians were professional and friendly. I had an outside ceiling fan replaced and the motor to an attic fan replaced. Both were done in a timely matter and everything is working well now.

I submitted a request mid-morning for repair/replacement of a chirping smoke detector, as well as all of the other smoke detectors in the house. I also had a couple of light switches/fixtures that were not working. The technicians came out within less than an hour. They were extremely friendly, but very professional. They assessed the repairs needed, gave me a quote and replaced 7 smoke detectors and repaired the light switches and fixtures and I was back to work within an hour and a half. Highly recommend!!

We lost power in an area of our house on Friday of a holiday weekend. I called Mr Sparky and two technicians arrived in less than an hour! Stephen and crew mate did an excellent job of tracking down and fixing the problem. Would not hesitate to use them again and recommend their services as well.

The call responder Tina was very helpful when my outlet was tripped. She gave me instructions to troubleshoot prior to having a service call come over to fix it to ensure it was an electrical issue. Stephen and his partner was very helpful and knowledgable on fixing my electrical issues. It was a quick and professional repair with the courtesy safety electrical inspection of my home. Will definitely call them back if I have any more electrical issues and I recommend them for their professional and courteous service.

We really appreciate the patience and professionalism of John Torres from Mister Sparky Cary. This was our first time having electrical work done, and even though we have nothing to compare to: they were prompt, wore booties in our home, and got the work we needed done right away. We were only expecting a quote but were pleased to have it started today. Would have been completed had we had the rest of the project underway, but John is coming back at another stage to finish the install, which is very kind and will be so helpful to us. Thank you!

John came back as promised to complete our project today. Once again a perfect example of professionalism, friendliness, and good quality work. He and Carlos installed 2 fans for us, 1 overhead light, and under cabinet lights. They also answered other electrical questions we had. Really appreciate them and will definitely recommend as well as use for future projects. Thank you again, John!

Steve and Dale came out on time, fixed my ceiling fan and replaced a busted exterior outlet quickly and efficiently. They were courteous, professional, and fast. Highly recommended, I'd use them again if the need arises.

The team from Mr Sparky (Stephen and Dale) quickly identified and remedied issues with a haunted outlet (hall lights only worked if we plugged a wall wart into the outlet) and a pendant light junction box that fell out of my kitchen ceiling. They were knowledgeable, pleasant, put up with lots of questions from me, worked neatly and cleaned up the minimal mess from fixing the pendant light problem (double thickness of drywall, overtightened screws, broken anchor wings). They also did a safety check of the GFI switches (explaining how a tripped switch in an upstairs bathroom disabled my porch light!) and identified an outdoor panel that wasn't adequately secured to the siding. In a nice touch, the company sent an introductory email with a picture for the lead electrician (Stephen). It was a good experience all around, and I'd use them again in a heartbeat!

This is the second time we’ve worked with Mr. Sparky in Cary. John Torres does an outstanding job finding the issues, explaining them, and fixing the issues. They are more expensive than other companies but you get a high level of customer service, knowledge, and people who arrive on time. Their in office staff are also great.
