These dudes are the best, highly recommended. We asked Mister Sparky to rewire our house. They provided us with a competitive estimate and financing options. From the first minute they were on-site, until the work was completed, they efficiently delivered high-quality work and were responsive to the considerations we requested while the work was in progress. Leo (and his assistant) did a perfect job. They evaluated all of my concerns and provided a detailed quote and once approved did the work the same day. They were on time, courteous, neat, and professional. I will definitely be using Leo again!

We got a full home rewire, replacing aluminium wiring with copper. Every step of the process, from estimate to final inspection was fully explained and well executed.

The work provided by Leo and Mister Sparky was excellent. They showed up on time and provided a reasonable quote to wire and install under cabinet lighting and a light in our pantry. Their work is quality and I would definitely use them again.

Mr. Sparky has completed three projects for us and every single interaction, from the dispatch to the service people who show up at the house, have been customer service oriented. Yes, they charge for their service—but once they been hired, their priority is making sure your needs are met quickly and permanently—no matter how long it takes or how much effort they need to expend to meet the expectations of the scope of work. And the first electrician they send out has enough expertise—no need to reschedule for a manager to come back to diagnose a problem that the first guy they send can’t figure out because it’s not a common issue. They are the living example of you get what you pay for.

Thank you so much for the excellent service. From scheduling to completion, everything went great. Stephen and team installed a new 40 amp circuit for our double oven, a new 20 amp circuit for our microwave, and updated a bathroom to a GFCI. The guys were great, thank you! We’ll be calling you again shortly to schedule a time to install a light in our foyer :)

Tina was great to work with throughout the scheduling and permitting process. Stephen and his team were friendly and efficient. They provided a competitive quote and were very fair about addressing unforeseen issues when they arose. We will definitely use them again.

First, they arrived exactly when scheduled. They did a thorough initial safety inspection and found and repaired a cable that had been chewed by a squirrel. They did a very good job of replacing our very old dimmer switches and made sure the were set up properly. It seemed a bit expensive but worth it to know the job was done right. Highly recommended.

This was my first time using Mr. Sparky. The electrician they sent out, Stephen Phillips, was very professional and thorough. We had an outdoor ground fault outlet which kept tripping for no apparent reason. He quickly troubleshooted the problem and made the necessary repairs. He was very knowledgeable and communicated in terms which the average homeowner could easily understand. The bill was very reasonable and I would definitely use Mr. Sparky again. I recommend their services.

I was very impressed with the professional knowledge and how well Stephen listened to my needs and communicated options. I give him and the team my highest recommendation. Watching him complete the work, I have to add creative problem solving to my earlier description. Making changes in older construction almost always uncovers some unforeseen situation. It is all the more valuable to have someone with Stephen’s experience and creative problem solving. I have already shared his contact with a family member living nearby, and I plan to call on him for my future electrical needs.

I can highly recommend Mister Sparky, finding the service both professional and friendly from start to finish. I only had a small job done, but now plan to hire them for a larger job. The technician was knowledgeable, proficient and personable. Fees were made clear up front and extremely reasonable. Also, office staff is friendly and very helpful.

We needed several light switches and a plug replaced due to age. We also needed weather proof covers on our outdoor receptacles as every time it rains hard/long the GFI switch in our garage trips and our freezers go out. Stephen and Dale handled the issues quickly and professionally. We are very satisfied with the work done.

Leo came out to service our home, and he was very quick, efficient, and professional. The cost was a little much for me (I don’t make much), but I appreciated his thoroughness. He repaired the outlet upstairs and the light downstairs in less than thirty minutes!

Update: the outlet he fixed went out within a few weeks. So I’m not gonna stick with the five stars since it didn’t fix the problem permanently.

Scheduling the appointment was easy and the guys who showed up were great. But they charged us $547--they walked in the door and they were leaving with the job completed 20 minutes later. When I asked about the high payment amount, I was told "labor costs." We later called and inquired again about the cost of the services and were told "cost of parts."
The parts for the job cost approximately $10.
They did a good job. But I will not be using them or recommending them again due to their outrageous pricing.

I had these electricians come twice to my house. The first time they upgraded multiple ceiling fans and light fixtures throughout the home. They returned to actually fix some work of a contractor who cut the electricity to the ceiling lights in the kitchen. They troubleshot the problem with incredible thoroughness and care. I was happy to see my lights working again. They even helped me find replacement can lights for the kitchen to modernize it, and told me what items I would need to do some of the work myself. Overall, very satisfied!

The front office went out of their way to schedule my appointment around my schedule. I really appreciate that! Leo did a great job correcting some mistakes if a previous contractor. He installed two new fans for me and put them on a separate switch from the lights. He also did a thorough inspection of all outlets. Leo had great attention to detail and cleaned up all the mess from the job. I am very pleased with the results.

Stephen was awesome!!! We had a burning smell in our bathroom this morning. I called, Stephen came out less than an hour later, diagnosed the issue and fixed it. All of this in under 2 hours.

Fantastic customer service and incredible response time. We'll definitely be lifetime customers for all electrical needs in our home.

We are in the middle of a kitchen renovation and Josh has been an incredible help! He is addressing all of our wishes, advising us on placement of fixtures and outlets, and is finding all of the hazards that the previous home owner DIY'd. We are super grateful to have him on our project!

Scheduling the appointment was easy (thanks Gail!) and the technicians were able to come out the next week to replace an exhaust fan in our bathroom. I received a text message when the technicians were on the way which included the name and photo of who would be arriving. The two gentleman were extremely pleasant and professional. They provided a quote for the work and were able to complete the replacement the same day. Definitely would use this business again and we highly recommend their services.

This review is for Mister Sparky of Raleigh & Wake Forest. Wow, what a positive experience. I had been holding off calling an electrician for a problem I was having with a GFC outlet in my crawlspace b/c of the very expensive experiences I'd had with previous electricians. Mr Sparky sent Spencer out the same day I called and was right on time. He was able to quickly diagnose my electrical problem and replace the outlet and all for the best price I've ever received for calling out a technician. And I have a lot of experience with such things as I've had to deal with maintenance problems for multiple properties over the years which included electrical problems. And this was hands down my best experience *ever*. The next time I need an electrician, Mr Sparky is at the top of my list. Thanks again Mr. Sparky!
