Always a pleasure dealing with the folks at Roy Electric. I had an exhaust fan replaced, a light fixture replaced and a smoke alarm replaced. Super job done quickly and efficiently. My second experience with RE and very happy both times!

Responded within a few hours and solved both my problems quickly and cheerfully. I had a smoke detector and a hanging light, (both on 16-18 foot ceilings that I couldn’t reach) needing service. Price was reasonable. Will call Roy’s again.

I hired Roy Electric to reattach the service to my mother's home that somehow came loose from the exterior of the house. I had to coordinate with Duke Energy to turn the power off so that the electrician could do his work. Roy Electric was on time for the job but Duke Energy was over 2 hours late. I thought I was going to have to reschedule for other day but guys at Roy Electric worked with me to get it done that day despite having to continue to wait for Duke. They went out of their way to provide excellent customer service and did not charge me anything additional for it. I really appreciate that kind of service. I would not hesitate to hire Roy Electric again.

Very reasonable pricing. I had outlets installed and a 50-amp breaker for my electric charging station. Spencer was great at going through options and was able to use critical thinking and logic to help me place the EV charging station for best efficiency. I would highly recommend Roy Electric.

Roy Electric provides excellent service. Spencer came in, assessed the possibility of adding a second pendant over our long dining table, confirmed it was possible and replaced an off center UGLY chandelier with two pendants tha brighten the area and are more appropriate for the space. He also replaced two hall light fixtures with more appropriate schoolhouse fixtures. Spencer was very polite, cleaned up after installation, and answered questions about future work.

Yafer and Alex from Roy Electric completed a number of projects for us including a google doorbell installation. They did an excellent job! They figured out why some of our lights inside and out were not working, relocated one light in our attic, and installed a new one there as well. The team was friendly, efficient, and quick to diagnose the problem and complete the job. They also clean up after their work! Roy Electric has provided service for us for a number of years and is our go-to for any electrical issues. Highly recommend!

Roy Electric in Cary is great to work with! They gave me an estimate over the phone and scheduled the work quickly. Two electricians came and they were very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. They installed a ceiling box and moved/added several outlets with minimal sheet rock damage. Also, very careful in the home and cleaned up well. Highly recommend!

I recently hired Roy's Electric for a second time in the last year and a half. Again, the two techs they sent were just great. Right on time, incredibly polite, very professional and very capable. I had several light fixtures to be removed and replacements to be installed. The guys made sure the new fixtures were installed at the proper place and height before completing each fixture. The old fixtures were removed, and clean up after their work was thorough. On a more personal note, they were so kind to me and to my dog who is not a big fan of visitors. They did their work well and timely while also engaging with the dog to make everyone more comfortable. Next time I need electrical work at my house, I won't look anywhere else. I highly recommend Roy's Electric for your electrical needs.

I used Ryan Medlin when installing wiring, can lights, and power for a ceiling fan in a third floor I was finishing. Ryan was exceptionally professional, had top notch communication, did very clean work, and had fair pricing. No reason to look elsewhere---he's great.

The work RME does is excellent. They are great for quick turnaround times, high quality work and great prices. I have used them several times for various work and have been completely satisfied everytime.

UPDATE: :-) We continue to work with RME and recommend them to all our friends (who also love them)! They recently installed new LED lights for our office and I was so impressed that I wanted to update my original review.

I am super impressed with Ryan Medlin Electric! Ryan's response time with communication was what initially impressed me, and then the service he delivered and his high level of professionalism just reinforced my initial positive impressions. He arrived on time, neatly dressed and friendly. He conducted himself in a professional manner, and was kind and enjoyable to be around. We had some old florescent lights upgraded to LED's at our office and the install was super clean. Ryan took his time and made sure it was all perfect. He also did residential work in our older home and helped us understand the electrical code and how it protects us. He's honest and no pressure, great experience.
